Knossos Beach Bungalows Suites Resort & Spa

We had a fantastic stay at Knossos Beach!
The food was very good. The Service did a great Job, staying very attentive, kind and helpful all the time. Only (very small) disclaimer was the Sounds of the Planes due to the proximity of the Airport.
We highly recommend to book a room with a Cabana - it's absolutely worth every Cent!

I am in love with this place, a chic quiet hotel, with a magnificent sea, here you relax your soul and body without loud music and annoying animation.
Spacious rooms, delicious food, live music, quality drinks, beautiful nature.
Each room has its own place on the beach, so you don't have to worry about not having enough space. You can call for service using an app on your phone, which is very convenient and saves time.
I would like to separately note the hotel staff: each employee is friendly and creates a feeling that you are welcome here.
Thanks to Nina, a great employee, russian-speaking, who will help in any situation, will take into account wishes, she helped me get a room with a magnificent view of the sea and my vacation was perfect!

It is very hard to be positively surprise by a Hotel, but this one really exceeded our expectations. We went with our 9month baby and we just have good things to say. From the staff, specially from the buffet restaurant, always ready to help us bring things for the baby. Also the chef was amazing preparing special food for our baby every night we spent there. We really appreciated! It was very special and perfect first family vacations and I would recommend it to anyone that wants to relax for some days, alone, as a couple or with small kids. I could go on but then it would be very long text. Just keep going with the good work everyone 👏🏻

This is our third visit to this amazing resort.
I love the privacy at the beach, comfortable sunbeds, amazing service at all the restaurants and bars, friendly and caring personnel, spacious and comfortable suits, beautiful view from our terrace.
This is the perfect place for me to relax and enjoy and fully recharge my batteries.
You can really feel that everyone is doing their best to make their guest feel cared about.

I can’t express how fantastic this location is. Currently still at the resort and sadly have to leave tomorrow!
The good -

The app that you receive sign onto it you can do so much with it within the resort.
Order drinks and food to your loungers at the beach (this part was sometimes hit or miss)
Booking reservations at restaurants and spa treatments speaking with front desk see menus gets a massive thumbs up for convenience!
The service is well above expectations all staff that you encounter are so friendly!
The room is clean and well kept and the house keepers are so kind.
The beach is so clean and they take fantastic care of you at the beach bar. The ocean is the perfect temperature. There is some seaweed in the bay but that is only on the shore line which is to be expected. Easily the nicest and warmest ocean area I have managed to be near!
All three restaurants are fantastic and worth having a look at eating at.
The reception staff were very kind at check in and kindly booked rental car and airport transfers.

A few negatives but we’re not a deal breaker more just information.
Airplanes fly over once in a while but it really is no bother! You can’t hear them in your room at night.
Couple of maintenance issues that weren’t resolved but not major and didn’t affect the stay one bit.
Personal preference for when I do come back and I definitely will
The spa suite with private heated pool and sea view. The sea view is restricted as it’s set back and has buildings to the left and right. I would stay at the waterfront with private pool when I come next time.

Our vacation at Knossos Beach Bungalows Suites Resort & Spa was much better than we expected. Before the trip, I also read reviews and understood that I shouldn't expect anything extraordinary, because many tourists wrote that the hotel is not new and needs renovation. Yes, it really does.
But believe me, completely different things come to the first place in this amazing hotel complex! The first impression is made by the reception staff. Our special deep gratitude is to Nina!
We travel a lot, but I met such a dedicated person for the first time! Extremely friendly and ready to help with any question. During our stay at the hotel, communication with Nina was simply a breath of fresh air! Thank you, Nina, for your support, help, understanding and pleasant communication 🫶🏼
The territory of the hotel is very beautiful and well-kept. Beautiful bungalows, in the style of snow-white Greek villages, many flowers and locations where you can take beautiful photos.
Next, I want to note the rooms. They are quite simple (I can't speak for the suites)), but there is everything you may need, the room has a coffee maker, slippers, bathrobes, a bottle of water every day. Good daily cleaning.
We really liked the food! Many thanks to the cooks, especially during the dinners. Our vacation was according to the HB system, it was quite enough for us. Breakfasts are a bit monotonous, but everything is fresh and of high quality, you can choose different dishes every day. The availability of sparkling drinks was also a nice bonus 🥂
The food for dinner was beyond praise - vegetables, salads, meat, fish, fruits, desserts - everything was plentiful and of excellent quality. Drinks were paid for separately. Special thanks to the waiters who were extremely friendly! In particular, we sincerely thank Anastasia! 🫶🏼
The hotel also has 2 a la carte restaurants - SiLa and Swell. The food there is very tasty, beautiful and in general the places are very atmospheric. Especially dinners, watching the sunsets. And the Swell restaurant has an entertainment program in the evening.
In general, there is no animation in the hotel. But we actually wanted that! Peaceful rest without noise and bustle.
Hotel guests are also very pleasant, there are no loud companies and drunken people.
We are also grateful to the guest relations team for the well-organized tours!
Finally, I would like to mention the beach area. Perfect sea! A beautiful gentle entrance to the sea, there are breakwaters that make a holiday at sea ideal. On the beach there are plenty of cabanas (for a fee), sunbeds and umbrellas. The beach is well equipped, there is a nice bar. I would like to especially thank the staff - Vaggelis and Stella! 🤗And also to other waiters! Understanding how difficult it is to work in the heat, they were always friendly! Thank you for the pleasant communication and your dedication to work!
The entire staff of the hotel deserves the highest rating! And thanks to this, staying at the hotel became wonderful for us!
You can pay attention to cons and some imperfection 🤷🏼‍♀️ But in this hotel, we chose to pay attention to the positive aspects, affection, hospitality and assistance of the staff. We are very satisfied with our vacation and look forward to coming back next year!

This luxury five-star hotel has a sophisticated decoration and features whitewashed rooms. The common areas are beautifully adorned with trees and bougainvillea flowers, which I loved.

My bungalow was spacious and beautifully decorated with a comfortable double bed, a sitting area, TV and with a large bathtub. I could see that they really thought about every single detail.

It also had an amazing private pool with lounge chairs, a cabana and an outside table with chairs where I loved spending some quiet time.

Both restaurants serve great food and nice ambiance. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

In the evening, they have live music and it’s so nice to see people getting together and having fun.

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful hotels in Crete!

I don’t have enough space to talk about all the amazing service this place gave me and my friends! The rooms were amazing! The buffet always had options (I’m vegan) and the drinks were so good! I highly recommend full board for the all inclusive! The front desk guy was amazing and always helpful to call taxis and give out the bus schedule. You won’t regret staying here ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇷
