This is our third visit to this amazing resort.
I love the privacy at the beach, comfortable sunbeds, amazing service at all the restaurants and bars, friendly and caring personnel, spacious and comfortable suits, beautiful view from our terrace.
This is the perfect place for me to relax and enjoy and fully recharge my batteries.
You can really feel that everyone is doing their best to make their guest feel cared about.
Many many thanks and definitely see you again next year!

I can’t express how fantastic this location is. Currently still at the resort and sadly have to leave tomorrow!
The good -

The app that you receive sign onto it you can do so much with it within the resort.
Order drinks and food to your loungers at the beach (this part was sometimes hit or miss)
Booking reservations at restaurants and spa treatments speaking with front desk see menus gets a massive thumbs up for convenience!
The service is well above expectations all staff that you encounter are so friendly!
The room is clean and well kept and the house keepers are so kind.
The beach is so clean and they take fantastic care of you at the beach bar. The ocean is the perfect temperature. There is some seaweed in the bay but that is only on the shore line which is to be expected. Easily the nicest and warmest ocean area I have managed to be near!
All three restaurants are fantastic and worth having a look at eating at.
The reception staff were very kind at check in and kindly booked rental car and airport transfers.

A few negatives but we’re not a deal breaker more just information.
Airplanes fly over once in a while but it really is no bother! You can’t hear them in your room at night.
Couple of maintenance issues that weren’t resolved but not major and didn’t affect the stay one bit.
Personal preference for when I do come back and I definitely will
The spa suite with private heated pool and sea view. The sea view is restricted as it’s set back and has buildings to the left and right. I would stay at the waterfront with private pool when I come next time.

All in all a fantastic experience with fantastic staff! Thank you all for your kindness!

Our vacation at Knossos Beach Bungalows Suites Resort & Spa was much better than we expected. Before the trip, I also read reviews and understood that I shouldn't expect anything extraordinary, because many tourists wrote that the hotel is not new and needs renovation. Yes, it really does.
But believe me, completely different things come to the first place in this amazing hotel complex! The first impression is made by the reception staff. Our special deep gratitude is to Nina!
We travel a lot, but I met such a dedicated person for the first time! Extremely friendly and ready to help with any question. During our stay at the hotel, communication with Nina was simply a breath of fresh air! Thank you, Nina, for your support, help, understanding and pleasant communication 🫶🏼
The territory of the hotel is very beautiful and well-kept. Beautiful bungalows, in the style of snow-white Greek villages, many flowers and locations where you can take beautiful photos.
Next, I want to note the rooms. They are quite simple (I can't speak for the suites)), but there is everything you may need, the room has a coffee maker, slippers, bathrobes, a bottle of water every day. Good daily cleaning.
We really liked the food! Many thanks to the cooks, especially during the dinners. Our vacation was according to the HB system, it was quite enough for us. Breakfasts are a bit monotonous, but everything is fresh and of high quality, you can choose different dishes every day. The availability of sparkling drinks was also a nice bonus 🥂
The food for dinner was beyond praise - vegetables, salads, meat, fish, fruits, desserts - everything was plentiful and of excellent quality. Drinks were paid for separately. Special thanks to the waiters who were extremely friendly! In particular, we sincerely thank Anastasia! 🫶🏼
The hotel also has 2 a la carte restaurants - SiLa and Swell. The food there is very tasty, beautiful and in general the places are very atmospheric. Especially dinners, watching the sunsets. And the Swell restaurant has an entertainment program in the evening.
In general, there is no animation in the hotel. But we actually wanted that! Peaceful rest without noise and bustle.
Hotel guests are also very pleasant, there are no loud companies and drunken people.
We are also grateful to the guest relations team for the well-organized tours!
Finally, I would like to mention the beach area. Perfect sea! A beautiful gentle entrance to the sea, there are breakwaters that make a holiday at sea ideal. On the beach there are plenty of cabanas (for a fee), sunbeds and umbrellas. The beach is well equipped, there is a nice bar. I would like to especially thank the staff - Vaggelis and Stella! 🤗And also to other waiters! Understanding how difficult it is to work in the heat, they were always friendly! Thank you for the pleasant communication and your dedication to work!
The entire staff of the hotel deserves the highest rating! And thanks to this, staying at the hotel became wonderful for us!
You can pay attention to cons and some imperfection 🤷🏼‍♀️ But in this hotel, we chose to pay attention to the positive aspects, affection, hospitality and assistance of the staff. We are very satisfied with our vacation and look forward to coming back next year!

All the workers are amazing and very helpful. It's really nice to see all the staff again.

This luxury five-star hotel has a sophisticated decoration and features whitewashed rooms. The common areas are beautifully adorned with trees and bougainvillea flowers, which I loved.

My bungalow was spacious and beautifully decorated with a comfortable double bed, a sitting area, TV and with a large bathtub. I could see that they really thought about every single detail.

It also had an amazing private pool with lounge chairs, a cabana and an outside table with chairs where I loved spending some quiet time.

Both restaurants serve great food and nice ambiance. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

In the evening, they have live music and it’s so nice to see people getting together and having fun.

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful hotels in Crete!

I don’t have enough space to talk about all the amazing service this place gave me and my friends! The rooms were amazing! The buffet always had options (I’m vegan) and the drinks were so good! I highly recommend full board for the all inclusive! The front desk guy was amazing and always helpful to call taxis and give out the bus schedule. You won’t regret staying here ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇷

We just came back from this beautiful resort celebrating our honeymoon.
Hotel: cozy and quaint hotel with so many stunning photo spots .. beach views and sunsets were magnificent and especially liked all the restaurants having beautiful beach views. Feels like a retreat and you don’t want to leave the hotel
Room: Our suite was lovely and spacious with a nice size tub overlooking bougainvillea Greek flowers .. absolutely stunning. Separate toilet, spa shower with amazing soaps and even an outside separate shower on the private terrace.
Food: Silia was excellent and Swell as well and the buffet had variety daily. Deserts delicious.. fresh fruits and always something new to try. There were a couple issues that stood out however, one being the water issue. Only one is given in the daily restock fridge in your room. You have to buy additional bottles. Even with all inclusive. With it being so hot one bottle was not enough for two people to share for the day .. you have to get water at the bar in plastic cups throughout the day or at the end to bring to your room for the evening of you’ve used your bottle. Also, the all inclusive is not all inclusive in that you get a menu and some things with a dot are included but the ones with prices you must pay separately. The drinks are ok nothing special.
Spa: beautiful spa with private indoor pool you can book. So relaxing for spa massages and facials. Relaxation lounge that tea is offered in. Friendly staff.
Location: a bus ride which the stop is by the hotel to Herklion town center. Easy to get to.. lots of greek shops. Restaurants with views.
Customer service: the restaurant staff and manager were friendly and nothing was too much. Very attentive. However front desk at checkout was awful.. was a shame to end like this…. with magnolis making it out to be as if we were liars not waiting for our bus transfer when we were. They never came or they came too early when we weren’t there…we were there at our designated time..He arranged a taxi for us but was adamant that it’s the customers responsibility to be on time .. we clearly stated so many times how we were absolutely there on time and they must have come early. He did not want to hear it and had to have the last word. Was so upsetting .. however Anthi from guest services was absolutely amazing in that she felt bad for what she overheard or had seen us upset and didn’t want us to leave being upset.. she gave us water and tried to help with the transfer again and also a nice bottle of honey from the hotel to remember the sweet things about the hotel. Was a lovely experience after that 20 minute front desk issue not to mention the issue of arranging the transfer with the other front desk receptionist inputting the wrong number several times to call and stating that we had the wrong number or the number was wrong when in fact we found out that the number on the transfer email was correct .. he had been including a couple digits that he didn’t need to in the beginning of the number. Checkout was a mission definitely not smooth and then leaving was an issue. Luckily Anthi was so kind and made the end so much better. Customer service was on point:) highly appreciated.
**Another small note was that prior to arriving I had emailed the resort informing them we were staying for our honeymoon. Absolutely nothing was done for recognition. Maybe this specific hotel just doesn’t celebrate occasions. Would have been so simple to make a heart towel on the bed and include a small little Greek trinket and card to thank guests for staying at their resort to celebrate something special. The added touches go a long way.. luckily Anthi made our trip at the end special.

Brilliant hotel and beach is fantastic and very family friendly - my wife and four kids had two adjoining rooms - the resort view suites with 2 beach cabbanas, everyone was super friendly - Manolis in the bar is a legend very nice guy and looked after everyone. Nothing was too much hassle and everything went smoothly.

We stayed in a bungalow with our own private pool and we highly recommend it. The views were beautiful and the food on the property was also very good - we ate at all restaurants on the property. Staff was helpful and pleasant as well. Our only complaints were the ocean water had a bad odor to it, it smelled polluted; and the hotel sits close to the airport underneath an airline path… you have planes flying over head every few minutes and it is very loud since they are getting ready to land nearby. Other than that, we were happy with our stay.

Super nice hotel, did get an upgrade to suite which was perfect! The rooms in the main building not so new, they need some refreshment. So I would definitely choose a bungalow or a suite. Pool area and beach very good. There is also a warm indoor pool which was super nice! Food was amazing, every night different food, a lot of verity. Staff was helpful and nice. Special thanks to Nina, other ladies and a man from the restaurant area, the guy who brought water was also very friendly. They also have a hotel dog!!
