Hotels with beach in Kolymbari

In need of some tarting up but coming straight out of a covid travel ban you have to appreciate these islands have been struggling so it will take them a while to fund it

This is a very nice hotel, the staff is great, the room is clean, the food is good. The only thing is the bed which is not a good experience

Large room with private Pool situated in a quiet area of the hotel. The slides are great fun for kids. Staff do their best to help you

I recommend visiting, and if you can, book a private pool, we love it AND there's an ocean view!

Greece wont throw money at everything like Boris for the tax payer to pay back for decades 😂

I would say that is 3 star hotel. however, everything is quite good and clean, the food is quite delicious too.

Couldn't choose a better hotel for our honeymoon! Special thanks to the manager as she did her best to make this occasion even more special

If you want a relaxing place to stay then is the hotel is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Only negatives were the AC in our room wasn’t the best and the small number of sun loungers along the pool next to the swim up bar. Plenty of sun loungers on the beach though so you can always get beds

Really lovely hotel, room had fantastic sea view, located right on the beach. Great selection of food and drinks availble. Staff were amazing especially Mateo, Kostas and Andreas

We had a lovely stay at Grand Bay Beach Resort. I've never met such nice and dedicated staff, they were constantly making sure we had everything we needed

Oh, what a lovely 16 days we spent at the Grand Bay Beach Resort. We were welcomed with an ice cold orange juice and a glass of sparkling wine

Really big rooms for the price, good standard of hygiene and the bed was really comfy. Friendly management and a pool out back. Nice location, countryside but with plenty of amenities in walking distance

For the price they ask it's a really excellent place to stay :) and for €2.50 you can have breakfast as well :) And the owner is really helpful and friendly!

Quiet room, very good condition, good position for explore the west of island and at cheap. Best value for money

One smuggler entered in my studio while 3 people were sleeping inside - he ran away with just a backpack and no violence, but it would be kind of the staff to warn that this could happen with a frequency on more or less once per year (as it was informed later), so we could have taken more security measures ourselves

Greece is usually hot this time of year, and not everyone likes air conditioning (there are on the studios), but if it's usage were needed for security we would have used all days

Excellent all inclusive for families with young kids. Good deep pool, toddler splash pool and children's play park pool. Decent water slides for adults and kids. Beach area with ship themed climbing park

My first and certainly not my last visit to this splendid hotel! The grounds were impressively well designed and maintained. Dream-like pools were clean and spacious

Entertainment is top-notch! My favourite experience is the genuine and helpful staff that strive to make Atlantica Ocean Beach Resort awesome in every way!

We have been coming here regularly since 2004. This place is excellent, great friendly and helpful staff, great selection of food with various spacious areas for dining

In fact since we last came a couple of years ago there has been a change to what was already an excellent holiday experience by way of a renovation to rooms, services and eating and drinking places

The kids had a blast playing in the children's area and using the slides. Excellent adventures all day long

There are also two minor issues that I found disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. Firstly, at the spa, I was surprised by the rule that prohibits being completely nude under the towel in the sauna

A very friendly and personalized welcome, impeccable and smiling service everywhere, superb infrastructure, a wonderful swimming pool, the cuisine is very good and made with fresh and quality products, the cocktails are excellent, the room (upgraded) was very comfortable

We spent 10 amazing days here, everything in this resort is really amazing. Food, rooms with shared pool (recommended), service, options for kids (water park and kids club)

But the only thing which upset us was the cleaning service. For this price u pay and facility it is, cleaning was a joke. We have a 2 year old boy so cleaning is everything for us. But it was a nightmare most of the time

Finding sand and stones on the floor after service left was a joke, we had to call 2 times for them to even come to clean. Dirty cups, floor, terrace, also took and threw from our room a good fruit, just a joke for us

The amenities of this hotel are amazing! The beach is not so welcoming and that's a pity but the pool is very nice. We had our room upgraded from a garden view to a pool view. The Half board service is wonderful

Everywhere is clean, tidy, and well maintained. We had a room with a swim up shared pool because we wanted our own space without the usual sunbed issues

As I have a health condition I was looking for a good quality hotel in a quiet setting with easy access to good quality meals, I found this in the Avra Imperial hotel

My room was in the Residence Collection (Adults only) which was lovely and quiet with a stunning large pool, plenty of decent seating and restaurant/bar

This was in stark contrast to the rest of the staff, either reception, restaurants/bars or concierge who were extremely helpful and pleasant

The reason I gave 4 stars for service and not 5 is that the staff who delivered room service, which i used several times, were unpleasant

The food and drinks tasted good. There is still room for improvement in terms of selection and service, which is normal for a new hotel. Nevertheless, all employees were always ready to help and friendly

We received a warm welcome and had a room with a communal pool. It was large, well equipped and very clean. The main pool was just huge and well-kept, with comfortable loungers on the edge of the pool

The sea is right behind the main pool. In between there is a small street. Fortunately, this is not very busy, so it does not bother you. At the moment there are only a few holidaymakers in the hotel

The entire hotel area is huge. As a result, the stay was very relaxing and invites you to relax

Nice Village, location near to famous beaches balos, elafonissi, falasarna. Good for childs with nice swim pools. Rally kind barman and pool wather.

Very cozy and family friendly place, with very good staff! (It's not a 5 stars hotel, but perfect for what it is)

Friendly service, clean rooms are surrounded by beautiful flowers, shrubs and trees. Very good location for discavering the western part of the island by a car. The only disappointment is the kitchen equipments

If someone wants to cook , let them forget about it

Hotel is nice and clean,very good food in restaurant,staff lovely and helpful. Kids loved the pools. Very good for family break.

Kolymbari harbour was a short walk away and hosted some beautiful fish restaurants. The beaches are quite pebbly but we found some lovely quiet areas to spend the day snorkelling and chillaxing

I really recommend the low season, as it is much less busy then and you can enjoy nature and the beach. Additionally this hotel is very cheap at the end of October

Very clean, good room service, Extremely good pool and sunbed area and what made me the most happy a working ac unit in the room!! The staff was absolutely immaculate

Also so flexible which for a young couple like us is critical! The location of the hotel is right by the beach in Kolymbari and its about 1km to the centre

Location is mad convenient to explore all the west part of crete. The rooms are cozy, up to date, clean, have nice view and easy access from the outside. People working there are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful

The hotel doesn not offer the entertainment options desired by most families and was therefore just visited by couples. If you are not by car a bus stop to Chania is just a 5 minute walk away

So enjoyed this vacation! Family run great service, very helpful. Nice breakfast in the morning. Beach is a short walk and a store right across from the hotel.

Best assistance from the owners and room service. Localisation near the beach, tawerns and shops. Deep pool with the zone also for children, comfortable rooms with balcony, WI-Fi- ok

The beds are a little hard, but for someone like me with back problems, it's no problem. We've had no problems with the bathroom either. There's a super market and buss stop over the road and the village is 1km away

Our room is a good size for two people and we have a nice sea view on the pool facing side. On this side there's no sun on the balcony until late afternoon. But it's a godsend as it's also nice when a breeze blows

I like that all staff was very friendly. Specially owner of hotel all the time smiling and welcoming to every one. Hotel follow government restrictions about covit19 that's make you feel safe. Thank you

We have been here since Saturday night. We arrived very late, so the owner opened the kitchen and served us with pizza and red wine. I must say that after reading so many negative reviews on the net
