Kos Town, Agios Gavriel 🧭 Map
The hotel is made up of several blocks. We stayed in a first floor one bed apartment in one of the new blocks. Check in was easy & throughout our stay the reception staff were very helpful, including arranging car hire. Our apt had a kitchen with two single beds & a bedroom with double bed. Both rooms had aircon. The rooms were made up every day & were clean, comfortable & spacious. A special thanks...
A nice distance from Kos Town, easy to walk and also the possibility to hire a bike as there is a bike lane all the way to the town centre! Lovely hotel, rooms clean, tidy and up to date. The staff are friendly. The only reason this didn't get five stars is that the breakfast doesn't have as many options as all the other hotels I have been to over the years, after the first couple of days it's quite...
Its really nice, the rooms are really big, and the people are friendly. The place is 20minut walk to the city. So if you want some rest its the perfect place to be. The swimmingpool and the space for laying in the sun is really big
The hotel was conveniently located near Kos Town, and the room was certainly good. There were four roosters that woke me up every day, that was not ideal, but I don't think the hotel can do anything about it. I saw them everywhere in Kos. The housekeeping staff was very friendly, and the pool was also excellent! However, the breakfast was disappointing. The soft-boiled eggs were always hard-boiled...
Location: very well located, you can rent a bike from the city center and bike to the hotel, there are some beautiful beaches near by and also a lot of restaurants that provide free sun beds. Breakfast: very mediocre, little options and only boiled egg no omelette or scrambled eggs. Personally I didn’t like. Room: room we took was very clean and also spacious, it has a view on the garden. Equipments...
Clean rooms and environment. Good size pool. Great food from poolside bar. Reasonably priced food and drinks. 100 yards from the beach. 1 mile from main town, many great restaurants within a few minutes walk.

Had a great stay with my wife. Really friendly staff and the location was phenomenal! Would go here again if I'd ever visit Kos city again! 10/10 would Astron again! 😎👍
Hotel due for refurb but didnt matter to our stay. William helped us out with bigger room on arrival. Again william and all staff superb. Very relaxed laid back atmosphere pool adequate steps and hand rail for me! Could always get sun bed. Very clean lovely crisp white sheets etc Breakfast ok. Hotel astron management make sure you keep william and all of your lovely staff after any further...
A little gem. Much prefer the smaller hotels more traditional hotels. The welcome, service and facilities were brilliant. Adam and Willian on reception couldn’t do enough for you. Jenny at pool bar and Ali in the hotel bar were delightful. The rooms were kept so clean and the housekeeping was excellent. Good breakfast and, once again, excellent service. Felt so comfortable there, travelling by myself...
Spent 10 nights at the Astron in June 2025. Received a very good welcome by William on arrival who provided us with the hotels amenities and also places to visit in Kos town and the island. The room we were allocated was excellent with views of the harbour, was spacious and very clean. The only negative was there was a plastic toilet seat which moved when you sat down. There was a pool at the back...
Lovely staff and communal areas. Fabulous pool with water jets. The bedrooms and corridors need serious upgrades though. Very basic and poor, old decoration. Spotlessly clean.
Hotel in excellent location with fabulous views of the harbour! Excellent customer service and the cleanliness is of a high standard. Staff work very hard! Breakfast is good! My only critique is rooms need refurbishment! Dated and tired looking!

We picked this hotel due to its private beachside location and proximity to Kos town, as the bus runs every 15- 25mins. The hotel was superb, excellent rooms with sunset views, superb food at both the gorgeous beach taverna or in the hotel restaurant. I cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they really make you feel like family. Highly recommended.
Nice beach and good facilities
Small nice property , beautifully located on the beach with professional staff and friendly atmosphere. A perfect relaxing hotel
Nice Hotel, very friendly staff, good breakfast, the beach was very nice, all in all, everything you expect from a hotel in this price class. The only silly thing was, that you had to pay extra for the air condition. Just take more money for the room.
Really good hotel . Bathroom bit basic but other than this everything good . Enjoying our stay

Amazing and friendly staff, always been ready to help or give an advise. The rooms are clean the same as swiming pool and other facilities. Good and quite location, just 15 min walk distance from beaches. Has been a pleasure for me to stay there.
Nice hotel with affordable prize. Location is perfect if you want to visit Kos City (~30mins walking) or go for the beach (~10 mins walking). Rooms are spacious and very clean. Food was fresh and with some variety. The only minus is that staff seems to be very tired, Guys in restaurant work all day and you can see it.
We stayed here mid July, prior to staying we requested an all inclusive and room upgrade, which the staff were very helpful with. Upon arrival desk staff was very informative and helpful, room was amazing, food was great and just a genuinely nice place to stay. Only slightly negative thing we could say is that we wished they’d keep the pool open after 7pm, would be nice to go for a nighttime dip. ...
I can definitely say that Gaia Garden is the best hotel where I ever stayed in. The food was so good. The buffet was varied and very tasty. The swimming pool was amazing and also big! The rooms were pleasant to stay in and every day our beds were made very nicely. Thank you for that! But mostly, what I will never forget, the staff were so friendly!! They gave us travel tips, the highlights of Kos and...
Great hotel. This was my second time there and I will definitely come back again. Big thanks especially to amazing staff! Edison and others boys were amazing! Thank you
It was my first time to Greece and my first solo trip abroad and the hotel made me feel right at home and the pool is lovely and the staff at the bar especially are really nice, I would highly recommend going here if it's your first time abroad or your a frequent fligher

Cosmopolitan Kos Hotel is a recently renovated "boutique style" hotel, situated at Lambi beach area of Kos town. The popular Lambi beach is just 200m from the hotel and the town center just 10 to 15 minutes walking down the road. There is a "Bus stop" in front of the hotel with frequent rides to Kos center. Cosmopolitan serves breakfast and dinner included in the room rate and "a la cart" menu at the...
It's good for the price and nice pool as well as room service
Nice place with friendly people!
Hotel very clean staff are really friendly and cant do enough for you Alison and Tony who run the pool bar are fantastic and very welcoming
Rooms are good, breakfast as well. Staff perfect! But bathrooms are old and small. But generally we enjoyed it very much.
Beautiful hotel, extremely friendly & polite staff (including the cleaning ladies!), everything very clean, nice pool & bar, beach 3-5m walk. Great vacation location for all ages!

I had a lovely two- night stay. Very comfortable, position perfect for everything and breakfast superb. I strongly recommend this hotel when in Kos.
Nice room. Breakfast was really good considering it came with hotel reservation. Overall great experience and rest.
One night stay, loved everything about this hotel, wrnt early and adked of we could leave our bags as not wanting to wander round Kos with them. Had a very warm welcome and was shown the lugguge room. Said we could use the pool if we wished. Weloved our room, it even had a little kitchenette in it, bathroom was fine with towels and toiletries and the room was a good size as was the balcony. The pool...
Very basic hotel, really small room. Noisy street and tiny balcony with no privacy. People were smoking on their balconies making mine unusable. Breakfast was fine, reasonable choice and staff were ok though the head of housekeeping was shouting at the maids in front of guess which is not professional. They clean your room but do not replace the coffees or teas you use.
Everything about this hotel was suitable/satisfactory and the staff was very nice. Unfortunately I came here while working and the wifi is literally the worst Ive had across 12+ countries and nearly double the amount of hotels. Not hyperbole but Ive actually had better wifi on top of a mountain when hiking. If you don’t need to do video calls, download basic files maybe you can get by, but the speed...
Really liked this hotel. The location is perfect, the pool area is quite small but we always managed to get a bean bag to sit out on. The walls are very thin so if you’re a light sleeper it might be an issue but it was no problem for us. The breakfast is good, only thing is they could maybe switch up what they offer every few days as we were quite bored of it by the end of our trip. If you’re looking...

Nice family run hotel with a good pool area and a bar thats well priced with a good selection of food. The rooms are small but clean and the staff are all friendly. The breakfast is a little lax in choice but for a 7 night stay will be ample. The hotel is located a short 5 minute walk from the beach and a 15 minute walk to the main part of town.
Exceptional hotel. Our second visit. Extremely clean, pool furniture like new, GREAT location right by Lambi beach (which is gorgeous), only 5 minute walk to bustling Kos Town, LOADS of restaurant choices. Staff in the hotel make you feel like family, food at the pool bar excellent, rooms cleaned every other day with change of towels and bedding. Can't fault it. Definitely recommend this secret gem
We stayed here 3 nights and was brilliant! Hotel was gorgeous and the pool area was fab. We went to the pool in both morning and afternoon and there was a choice of sunbeds both times. Breakfast was great - plenty of choice and included in the price. Close to everything you could want in Kos town.
We here now 4 days. A very warm welcoming. Great bar staff. Thr water in the pool is exactly on the right temperature to swim at any time of the day. Lovely cocktails too.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Super clean everywhere. Simple but tasty fresh breakfast. Lovely pool with plenlyful loungers. Sports bar. All you need really
Lovely family owned hotel. Very lovely friendly staff and owners. Nice clean rooms. Bar and pool downstairs. Only complaint was the noise between the room and the very hard beds. But at the cost you pay, you can't really argue. Location is a small walk from all the main things to see and do.

We had a great week at the Hotel Koala which we found was very a very relaxed place to stay. The team of staff were very helpful and the hotel and our room were kept very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was buffet style which suited us. It's a short walk into Kos town and we also went to some Greek family restaurants near to our hotel. We would recommend the Koala and hopefully will visit again
Just stayed at Koala hotel kos, this hotel is spotlessly clean the staff are so nice and helpful nithing is to much for them, the rooms a cleaned daily towels changed every 2 days, breakfast was good a lot of choice, couldn't have asked for more, aircon is at a charge but that is ok, its a 2 star hotel should definitely be a higher star rating.
The Personnel was very nice, the manager of the hotel Dimitris is a really nice person and also other personnel is very helpful. The location of the hotel is amazing because you are very close to the town centre and you have 3 markets that are very close to the hotel.
Just back from a 5 night stay . Excellent sevice and very clean hotel. Rooms cleaned daily, towels every 2 days. Fridge and kettle, air-conditioning on request for a fee and safe. Bar snacks spot on and alcohol. Buffet breakfast but something diffrence every morning. Thanks to the management and staff for a lovely break. See you again.
We stayed at this hotel for a bit more than a week and, knowing it was a 2-star property, we didn’t expect luxury. However, we were genuinely surprised—and not in a good way—by a couple of things. Firstly, we were charged €8 per day for air conditioning. In the middle of the Greek summer, this isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. It was disappointing to find that such a basic amenity wasn’t included in...
Very friendly staff and a great family establishment. The cleaners tidied our rooms daily and made sure we had fresh towels to use. We had initially arrived at the hotel at 2am, tired and hungry from travelling, and the receptionist had offered to kindly help us out by ordering some tasty food to the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and talkative it has been a great first experience to Kos staying...

Myself and my husband booked this hotel for our honeymoon, from 25th July until 08th August 2021. First time in Kos and what a great honeymoon we had. Rooms were lovely and clean. Great hotel, great service, tasty and fresh food, nice pool, but the best thing thing is the staff. We have never experienced such friendly employees who are really interested in guests. Especially Graciela and Mohammed made our vacation so nice and always put us in a good mood
great staff and an even better location, go here if you want a super relaxing vacation with your partner
Had a lovely time at Palm Beach in September.. as always friendly staff and George deserves a special mention for being so helpful and kind. Well done to all staff in difficult times. Hope to return next year. Well done. Food and service great. I like the new table service food instead of buffet. Great - lovely room and COVID restrictions well adhered to..

I went on vacation with my friends and the penultimate day I didn’t feel very well. I asked to the reception some tea and they prepared it for me immediately. I think kindness is not something to be underestimated. Thanks a lot.
Very affordable, but therefore also "basic" apartments. Location in Lambi fantastic! The decor is simple, but adequate. The bathroom could use a makeover, cozy shower is not there. Nice spacious balconies, don't cook yourself! But as said: what you pay is what you get! Very friendly reception ladies.
The room is okay, the staff is kind and the swimming pool is great. The big problem is the extra cost. For the Airconditioning we have to pay 18 euros a day!!
Good Hotel. Good situated. Nice staff. Near to Beach and Towncenter!
Great location, near the city centre. Pool is in the sun almost the entire day. The rooms are big if somewhat old, amenities are dated but work fine
Big appartment, nice staff and clean. The bathroom is quite outdated, but good enough.

What more can you wish that Manos the owner is so helpfull. From start at arrival he is your manager, bartender, chef cook, tourguide and friend. Together with his wife they make your holiday more then good. I am not going home yet, but thank you so much.
We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on the ground floor at Michalis studios and apartments for 1 week with our teenage son. the apartment was well equipped with air conditioning in each of the bedrooms with a tv in the main bedroom. We also had a kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, two ring hob and fridge. What was nice was we did not have to pay any extra for the air conditioning, kettle or toaster...
When we arrived at Michalis Studios & Apartments, Manos gave us a very warm welcome. From the moment you arrive you can feel that Manos wants you to feel 'home' in his beautiful place. He gave us the best tips of Kos and the rooms were very clean and the kitchen is easy and good to use. The pool is perfect and there is also a very nice bar where you can enjoy an ice cream, a cocktail or something...
