2 star hotels in Kos Town

Stayed here for 4 nights. Agree with some of the other reviews here, but we're really not fussy about it. We got exactly what we paid for which was a very cheap 2 star hotel. The manager really is a grumpy man who doesn't say much and always looked annoyed. But he checked us in 30mins early as we were just waiting patiently in the lounge area. Shower temperature and pressure was good for us in room...

The rooms are in an older style, but they have their own charm, it's beautiful to sit on the terrace and listen to the sounds of nature,The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly.

Perfect hotel for a stay in Kos. Very good breakfast and kind workers. Reception is always available for questions and to help you. The mountain view and the sea view are beautiful. The room gets cleaned everyday and they change the towels and bedsheets regularly.

It was a simple and cheap hotel with breakfast included, situated right în front of Marina and some km from center.

Don't have too high expectations for this price. We will pay a little more and choose another hotel next time.

I walked in and spent last night in the hotel. Although it was noon, they provided me the hotel room right away which has the beautiful ocean view. In the morning I had a amazing breakfast. The room was clean and good size for the low cost. Highly recommended!!

The hotel has a really good location to visit the city or go for a walk at night. The only con was the noisy AC, but the receptionist who welcomed us was so nice and kind

We only stayed for a couple of nights so the room didn't need to be cleaned so not an issue like in other reviews. Staff were friendly and helpful, there's a great little supermarket close by too, handy for little bits. it's quiet in the evenings (midweek anyway) ... For the price i swear some reviews seem to think they are royalty on a budget... Fully recommended

Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are a good size and very comfortable, with working AC and a lovely little balcony. There was also a fridge in the room. Given the high prices generally in Kos, the room was good value. We didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food but there are lots of great bars and restaurants close by.

It is an old hotel that lacks some little things like shampoo and shower gel in shower but the staff is pretty nice and helpful. An old lady from my tour group had a problem with her room card and they helped immediately. Close to plenty of bars and restaurants, only 5 minutes to the beach. Great bar and lounge area. Staff always helpful. Pool area gets the afternoon sun.

The bar and reception staff are what make this hotel so good. Very friendly and helpful. Spent a great 11 nights here with my daughter. Breakfast is brilliant especially the greek breakfast. Very central to all beach areas and town centre. Nice relaxed pool areas. Sometimes noisy at night in the halls but otherwise great value and will definitely be back

Fabulous week at pavlos ... location is perfect for exploring in every direction and only about 10 minutes walk to either the beach, the port, or old town ... all the staff are very friendly and someones always available on reception ... pool area is good considering its in the town, especially for an afternoon dip and some late sun after the beach ... rooms not modern but very nice, spacious and cleaned...

This hotel is incredible for the price. The staff they have is simply wonderful, they are friendly and polite, when you have a problem they help you right away. The food is amazing and so are the drinks. The pool is very good and the location is perfect, you are in the middle of everything. It is very quiet and cozy, without a doubt I would repeat many more times.

The hotel has a really good location, the main bus stop is 10-15 min walk. The room was big and clean. The stuff was really friendly and the reception was open 24/7.

Me and my girlfriend had the most amazing stay. Evertone at the hotel was so nice, amazing view and we enjoyed every second!

It seems they have relocated (to across the street), so that might explain the other reviews calling it a 'scam'. The hotel is very nice, and so is the staff. Breakfast is good (though only 1 or 2 variable choices each day), with fresh fruits. Room and bathroom were cozy for 2 guests, but we had a nice balcony to sit on (and when you're in Kos, you won't be spending much time in your hotelroom anyway...

Hotel has two parts - old one and new one. On the photos are only the new one...may be only for promo (?!). Old one has lower quality. But the servis is not bad.

Stayed for 4 night , last minute booking. The staff were lovely, had abit of trouble with our room when we arrived, but it was sorted straight away. Boris and family made our day with their hospitality during our day in Kos! We were able to keep our luggage at their hotel while we explored the island and they even helped us carry our bags and drove us to the ferry station. Truly a WONDERFUL family! Nice hotel with nice employees. Nice rooms in all sizes. Short road to the beach and to the city. Just a 3-minute walk and you are where everything happens.

Good hotel, very clean but old school one. The breakfast is the same every morning, staff is so friendly, rooms with good balcony, mattresses and pillows are comfortable. We were there from 5th sept till 16th sept and had to pay air condition, too hot in the evening. Swimming pool is so clean and used it in the evening till 7pm.

The Hotel has pritty lame rules. Small rooms. But for the very low price it's totaly fine for me. Fits my needs.

Nice family run hotel with a good pool area and a bar thats well priced with a good selection of food. The rooms are small but clean and the staff are all friendly. The breakfast is a little lax in choice but for a 7 night stay will be ample. The hotel is located a short 5 minute walk from the beach and a 15 minute walk to the main part of town.

Exceptional hotel. Our second visit. Extremely clean, pool furniture like new, GREAT location right by Lambi beach (which is gorgeous), only 5 minute walk to bustling Kos Town, LOADS of restaurant choices. Staff in the hotel make you feel like family, food at the pool bar excellent, rooms cleaned every other day with change of towels and bedding. Can't fault it. Definitely recommend this secret gem

We stayed here 3 nights and was brilliant! Hotel was gorgeous and the pool area was fab. We went to the pool in both morning and afternoon and there was a choice of sunbeds both times. Breakfast was great - plenty of choice and included in the price. Close to everything you could want in Kos town.

We here now 4 days. A very warm welcoming. Great bar staff. Thr water in the pool is exactly on the right temperature to swim at any time of the day. Lovely cocktails too.

Lovely family owned hotel. Very lovely friendly staff and owners. Nice clean rooms. Bar and pool downstairs. Only complaint was the noise between the room and the very hard beds. But at the cost you pay, you can't really argue. Location is a small walk from all the main things to see and do.

We stayed here for 4 nights from 21st August, and found it an ideal base for us. Like others have said, the rooms are small and dated, but we found that the 80’s decor gave the hotel its charm, and although there were a couple of issues with our room, we didn’t let it bother us, as we were only there for a few days. The 2 holland women are very kind funny and professional. The hotel is very near to old city port and city beach. They kept for us for 2 days big luggages for our trip in Astipalea. Besides of that we had a sudden problem and they allowed us to cancel the reservation without fees. Very very advised!!!!

Small property, close to center of town. Older building, very clean, very safe. Two stories (levels) no elevator. Small basic rooms, firm mattresses, decent size bathrooms . Very good for the price.

We only spent 1 night here. The lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. Although the rooms have a decoration from the 90s, we liked this nostalgia at one point. The important thing was that the rooms were clean and we did not have a problem with this. they let us leave our suitcases there for a few hours on the day we checked out.

The location of the hotel is good and very close to the city center, the cleanliness is very excellent, the quietness is wonderful, the receptionist is very nice, but the mattresses are bad, I recommend it to anyone who wants to take it for one night, no more .

I stayed a week in this hotel in August 2018 and I had a great time. The price is very convenient and the hotel has everything you need. The owner is very kind and helpful and speaks Italian well.

This is a quiet place only 5-10 minutes walking from the beach. We booked this for a night while on Kos. The man running the place is a very very friendly older Greek man who was very helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean, and for the price a real bargain. If you are looking for a place just to crash for a week, I would highly recommend this Hotel Hellas.

The location was fine, rooms were clean, and breakfast was as expected for hotel standards. Our major complaint was that the air-conditioner would shut off after a few hours. Once in the middle of the night and another time only an hour after we turned it on. Staff was OK, bartending crew were the best.

In the heart of the city great choice if you have a car

It’s a clean hotel with a balcony overlooking the port and tour boats. At night, the view is beautifully lit. It’s located in a very central area. The breakfast is rich in variety and quite satisfying.

Nice hotel, good room size, reasonable cleanliness, excellent location in the center of the old city, close to the beach. But the facilities are old, the shower needs a refresh and the bed is uncomfortable. The service of the staff is excellent, everyone was very kind.

I had a very nice stay at the Olympia hotel back in September. The rooms were nice, luminous and had balconies. The lady at the reception was very friendly and competent. They also serve breakfast every morning. The only con was the tiny shower, were water was leaking from after very time I had a shower. But except this everything was perfect. I recommend it.

Nicely located hotel with renovated and clean rooms. Breakfast and service were also good. We just stayed there for a night but I would choose it again. The only negative thing was that our room had a window looking in the laundry area which was a bit noisy. A window net would be also a good idea.

I don't understand why this is a two-star hotel. Everything is very clean, well designed and thought out (with well placed light switches and USB outlets at the bedsides). They even made us breakfast 30min earlier so we could catch our bus! A beautiful and very cheap stay in the center of Kos town

Situated a few steps to the harbour this hotel is very pleasant place to spend a few nights in the heart of Kos Town if you don't need luxury . The hotel is not a new one but the simple rooms with balcony are cosy and clean and everybody is pretty friendly. I personally enjoyed it.

We really liked this family owned hotel. We had room 212. A small balcony that had the view of the bay from one side. Comfortable to sit in the evening and have a glass of wine. The bed was good. The bathroom had a small shower ... They were kind and lent me one of their hair dryers. It worked well for us... The breakfast was fantastic! You MUST ask for his wonderful homemade strawberry...

Clean simple room very small TV with basic channels which is installed too far and too high from the bed considering the size of the TV no wifi or I was not informed about it. Not recommended if the price gets above 30 euro unless you have nowhere else to go.
