The location of this hotel was a 5/5. The view is gorgeous and steps from the beach. We stayed in a renovated room and had no complaints about the room at all. It was updated, clean, with good working AC(not that easy to find in Europe).
The pool is clean and well kept. My complaint about it is the depth. Its quite deep to stand and lounge if you are shorter than 5.6/5.7.
My complaints about this hotel are mainly due to the staff and bar/restaurant amenities. Everything at the hotel, including the pool, bar, restaurant, lobby, everything, is completely shut down by 9pm. The staff shut down the food service earlier than was posted with no notice. The bar stopped servings snacks/food by 3:30pm.
While it was a great location and family friendly, I don't know if we would return due to the food/bar service issues.

Nice hotel, excellent placed by the sea. Only missed aircon in the gym, otherwise everything was perfectly fittet for a couples vacation, or a family trip with older children as well. The staff was super friendly at all times. Would definately reccomend this to friends.

We broke our never return rule for the Blue Dome. It really does have everything we want.

Perfect location at the beach with super nice pool!
We stayed at Blue Dome for 14 days. Had the pleasure of staying in one of the newly renovated rooms. The design of the apartment was beautiful and tasteful. Especially the blue sky painted wall in our bedroom.
The air condition was new and very efficient. Be aware of the extra cost - but this is just necessary.
The restaurant / pool bar is very good. Beverage is expensive but in my opinion you pay for the view and the location. It is the best location in Platanias!

We have visited Blue Dome many times. In May 2024 we had one of the new renovated rooms.
The rooms had been renovated in a very restrained and elegant way. Every detail and color was carefully considered.
The new air conditioners were of high quality, silent and well working.

Everything was great about our stay at Blue Dome. The rooms were very spacious, large balconies, the view was amazing, and the hotel itself is cleverly designed so you have a view of the sea from every room.
The food in their Basil Honey restaurant is simply delicious and the breakfast that we had included was just amazing. We couldn't wait to wake up in the morning and rush to the restaurant.
A few steps down from the cristal clear pools is the beach and you can jump into the waves in no time. This was something that was priority on our list.
We went there with our 5 month old daughter thinking it will be difficult, but everything went smoothly. All the staff is super friendly, helpful with every question or request!
Would definitely recomend!! And we look forward to going back!

It's ok but very quiet and lacks atmosphere. Rooms are clean and Aircon is very good which makes it comfortable. However 2 single beds pushed together doesn't make a double in my view. Very expensive for what it offers. The restaurant was only open on a Sunday night for dinner and although yoga and dance classes were offered none were to be found. Staff were very friendly and approachable. . We were a bit disappointed but realise our taste isn't everyone else's. It's quiet, relaxing and extremely clean and friendly however we feel a bit misled as to what this hotel offered

Stayed at this hotel for three weeks with family. Highly recommend. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Our flight home got delayed 24hrs and staff went above and beyond helping us.
