At the end of August, my wife and I organized a wedding in Crete. We accommodated all our guests in the Horizon hotel, which was a hit. Everyone was very satisfied. This is an excellent beach hotel!!!! Sea view is fantastic and the accommodation is very good! Rooms are very comfort and new! The food is also excellent, fresh drinks and beautiful pool bar!! Really nice hotel and beautiful hotel area! But they still have some unrenovated rooms which we had and they aren't that nice to be honest. Somehow it's a thing that there are many public toilets you can't lock all over Crete and also in the hotel area. Everything else was fine.

Booked in for the deep tissue massage after a quick demo by one of the spa workers at the pool. Really recommend this as it released all tension in my back and shoulders that had built up from the gym. We really enjoyed our stay as a family just recently. Dinners and breakfast were great at the main restaurant with a wide selection of fresh ingredients (we didn’t eat lunch there). The absolute top thing about this hotel is the beachfront location (deluxe room felt like we're almost on the sea) and the actual area that is taken care off and kept clean exceptionally.

Stayed here twice bit pricey but well worth it, has a fantastic swimming pool and has easy access to the beach, also has sunbeds to hire. When I arrived late at night I must of looked slightly disappointed… The hotel seemed very old fashioned and needed a lick of paint and a couple of upgrades. I don't understand why this hotel has so many dodgy reviews. It is a lovely hotel and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Maid service daily and it is located right in the middle of everything and on the beach. Lovely pool and not very busy so you can always get a sunbed and enjoy a dip. The hotel is close to the beach, approximately 7-10 minutes of walking. It has a nice view from the terrace. However, the breakfast is the same every day (hard boiled eggs, tomato salad, bread, butter, marmelade, cheese, ham, cereals, coffee and tea). The room had a nice side view of the sea but it was not very clean. The room was a little dusty and the bathroom had signs of mold.
