We had an unforgettable stay at Alkinoi in Monemvasia, Greece, this past August. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive and friendly staff, including manager Yanis and the ladies at reception, who made our vacation extra special, especially for our little boy.

Our room with a view of the pool and the sea was truly fantastic. Waking up every morning to such a breathtaking view, including a sight of the old town of Monemvasia, was an experience in itself. The hotel’s location is excellent, though having a car is handy to explore the area fully.

It was also unique to find that we were mostly surrounded by Greek guests. This gave our stay an authentic and distinctive character, which we greatly appreciated.

Yanis, the manager, deserves special recognition. His personal touch and dedication truly made a difference. He was not only incredibly kind and attentive, but he also didn’t hesitate to personally fix a minor issue in our room.

The saltwater pool took some getting used to, but it quickly became one of the most beautiful places to relax. We had a favorite spot under a tree by the pool, where we enjoyed a delicious snack or a well-prepared lunch. The service at the pool bar deserves special praise; the staff was always friendly and attentive.

The spa was another highlight. The massage I received there was incredibly relaxing and helped me completely unwind. The breakfast was extensive and excellent, with a wide variety of options that made every morning a joy.

In short, Alkinoi is an absolute must for anyone looking for a combination of luxury, comfort, and stunning views. We can’t wait to return!

The manager of this hotel went out of his way to make our visit really special. It was my wife’s birthday and we had only booked our room the day before. He had limited availability but was able to shift things around so that we could have a nice room with a view of Monemvasia for 2 nights. On top of that he showed up at our door with Birthday cake and a bottle of Prosecco on ice! It was one of the most memorable moments of our trip.

We were fortunate to stay at this wonderful resort the first week of August. Alkinoi Resort is located just outside the hustle & bustle of Monemvasia, it has been recently tastefully remodelled and offers stunning views of the walled city from across the bay. The location of this boutique resort offers refreshing sea breezes in the hot climate. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the grounds were immaculate, the pool is fed by sea water and was perfect and refreshing, the breakfast buffet offered anything you could ask for and more. Overall we were very impressed and would definitely stay again, highly recommended

We were able to get the last rooms they had. We randomly stopped by on a motorcycle trip through Greece. Couldn't have been happier with the cleanliness, friendliness and overall satisfaction for our stay. They recently renovated and it showed. Would highly recommend staying here again. The views were amazing, the pool was refreshing and again, the service was better than at any other hotel we stayed at.

Ideal if you want to be at Monevmasia but want to skip staying within the castle. Perfect view of the rock and the sea, relaxing coco-mat mattresses, rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast has a lot of options, with local products and freshly squeezed juice from local oranges. Owner and staff are friendly, helpful and polite.

Amazing hotel, fully renovated, everything in there smells brand new😛! Situated close to the city centre, on a spot with breathtaking view, the staff is extremely polite and super friendly and the rooms a little too comfy and of great taste! Due to the fact that we were stranded in Monemvasia and had to hotel hop this is by far the best option in the area! ❤️ *Special thanx to the manager who helped us in every way possible!

Economical stay was accompanied by GREAT staff/customer service in an upscale relaxing resort. Loved the pool overlooking the Mediterranean, great breakfast. Will definitely be recommending to friends and will be back again

I loved this place!! Being there was a trully relaxing experience. With an astonishing view from every hotel angle and an amazing big swimming pool, i couldn't ask for more. The rooms are big enough, very clean and so are the bathrooms (I am obsessed with this, so I am always paying attention). I look forward to coming back to you my beautiful Alkinoi resort.
