Nice looking hotel located a stone throw from the harbor, close to restaurants and shopping yet very quiet at night. Rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated. Breakfast is good with wide selections, fresh squeezed orange juice is a plus. Service is great, staff help carry luggage to your room.
I would rate this hotel 5* if not for the following negative experience: I was wakened up in the middle of the night by an intense itch on one of my fingers and the back of my right hand. The next morning, I can see 3 red spots like insect bites and the back of my hand is red and swollen. I showed my hand to the front desk lady and asked to get a different room as soon as possible. The following day I talked to the front desk lady again and she dismissed my problem as just an allergy. I didn’t appreciate that comment as it is unprofessional, showed disrespect and irresponsibility. It took 4 days with a prescription cream for the swelling and the itch to subside.
I am not sure what kind of bug it was that bit me in the middle of the night while I was in bed at Ippoliti. But for sure I am not going back to Ippoliti if I was to visit Nafplio again.

We had a wonderful two night stay in Room 301. The room was quiet, large, and clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. They even mopped the entire bathroom during our stay and sprayed our linens with a nice relaxing fragrance. The location can't be beat.

I seem to disagree with other reviewers about this hotel. It was our least favorite during our two week trip to Greece. First of all, the pictures on their website are definitely airbrushed or out of date. Our room looked great online but very tired in reality. Everything needs a refresh, especially the very old bathroom. Cleaning also needs improvement. The bed is a mystery - wood corners stick out so far that I hit my shin at least for times. They also don’t give you a duvet; it’s a very thin top sheet only and I froze during the night at the height of summer. You can hear everything in this hotel - it’s old so there’s poor sound insulation. This was fine the first night, but not so great the second night when a huge tour bus arrived and the hotel was full. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. There’s also no coffee maker in the room. On the plus side, the location is fantastic and the ladies working at reception were very nice.

Extremely friendly staff, very clean beautiful rooms, perfect location. The pool is tiny so don't really count on it, however it can be handy if you don't want to move to the beach. The rooms are very nice, ours was very small but still beautiful, although they look like they could do some renovation. Overall a beautiful hotel with extremely friendly staff.

We were very happy with our stay at the hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel truly welcome with their genuine warmth. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious! A special thanks to the lady at the reception — she was especially helpful and kind. Highly recommended!

What an amazing hotel. Quintessential of boutique charm, with tastefully decorated rooms and great water front location. Small pool and walking distance to local beach. Breakfast is well worth it, all organic and home made. Thank you for having us!

I stayed here for 3 nights with my family of 5 in 2 rooms. This is a delightful hotel, nicely decorated, lovely staff and a wonderful breakfast each morning. The ladies were extremely helpful, an always ready with tips about the local area. On the last day one of my kids was ill, and they let us have a late checkout and offered medicine, herbal tea and crackers, which was much appreciated.
The rooms were nicely furnished with comfortable beds and linens. We had the loft suite + a double room for my teen boys and were very happy with the arrangements. The hotel is centrally located and you can walk everywhere. We parked our car a few blocks away in the free public parking. We would definitely stay here again!

Exceptional hotel in the heart of Nafplio! Heard to think of any negatives for the hotel. Staff are warm and welcoming, Alexandra gave us a lovely welcome and ensured we were well looked after. The hotel decor is traditional and exceptionally clean. We stayed in the superior attic room which was lovely and included a balcony.

Love, love, LOVED this hotel. There is beauty everywhere you look; wish I had photos to upload. Room was so comfortable - air conditioner with in-room controls worked flawlessly, bed and pillows were sumptuous. Staff was kind, helpful. Location is easy to explore on foot. Don't expect spacious rooms or great views in the rooms, this is an urban location, but the room space is well used and we did not feel cramped at all. Plus the decor is so tastefully done. Breakfast was perfect - homemade Greek pastries plus much much more.

Perfect choice for our three night stay. Easy walk to pier, restaurants and museums. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff always eager to assist. Breakfast buffet is substantial. Safe place to start an early morning run from. Wonderful sunsets in this romantic old town.
