Beautiful and large hotel. Easily accessible to and from Nafplion. The rooms are big and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Very clean.
The only downside is that the rooms need renovations. They are already outdated. Most importantly, get rid of the shower curtains! (Which were clean nonetheless).

We had a pleasant stay at Amalia Hotel, and in terms of value for money, it is definitely recommended! However, it's important to note that our stay was selected based on our specific preferences and it met our expectations. On behalf of our experience we rate this a 4 our of 5

Hotel with polite staff. The rooms are very outdated (the furniture looks like from the '80, but not very well preserved, the carpet is stained, mold smell in the room, ancient AC). Definitely not 4 stars and really overpriced. You need to drive to Nafplio, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Rooms on the first floor do not have balcony/terrace.

The hotel rooms are spacious and clean - the staff friendly and polite the breakfast offered rich and abundant - in fact for all tastes. There is a brilliant pool area, a cafe for snack meals etc good value and great quality. They have a bar area too make great cocktails and pianist on baby grand
Friend and I went for a few days r and r. - close to Nafplio which is rich in ancient and more modern history - nice shops too. Abundant parking and great looking place entrance is all marble. Will I stay again for sure - also near villages with great fish restaurants in short a gem

My daughter had her wedding reception at the Amalia. We had travelled from Northern Ireland. We are very grateful to all of the staff. Nico, we are very grateful to you and your outstanding team. Everyone had a wonderful time, and everything ran very smoothly.

Pretty nice though the interior feels dated. The flowers outside were really nice. You could smell the jasmine in bloom.

Whoever designed the bathrooms must have been drunk. An old tub that doesn't drain, with a handheld shower along the longer edge, and a visibly dirty shower curtain. Upon walking into the room, you notice how dirty it is -- hair surrounding the bathroom sink, toilets so old that they've been stained brown, and the entire carpet laden in thick mold and visibly not cleaned. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone or stay here again. The communal areas - pool, bar, lounge, cafeteria - were much nicer than the rooms themselves. I think they're the only reason why the hotel is still functioning - that, and a lack of other options nearby.

Need taxi into town as 2km out but no safe pathway . Taxi inexpensive here

Once touted as a great hotel, it has undergone renovations, but there's room for improvement in attention to detail. Located 3.5 km from the old city, it falls short in buffet quality. During our three-day stay, the unkempt carpets in rooms and hallways were a disappointment. However, the service was commendable.

It is a magnificent hotel with large and comfortable spaces. The rooms are just as spacious, while the mattress and pillow are of very good quality. Comfortable and restful sleep.
The furniture is old and worn. Also, the carpet is not one of the best stylistic options.
Breakfast is good and rich. Lunch, I would say average. Not bad, but nothing special, either.
