We would stay at Xenon Inn again in a heartbeat. We had the suite and the room was large with everything you could need. When I booked I had no idea that it had a kitchenette - not just a mini fridge but also a kitchen sink and stove burners. Lovely rooms. The front desk staff "Maria" is friendly and very helpful. We had a room facing the square. The noise at night was very light and by 11p pretty quiet. But our visit was not during the high season. There is a set of steep stairs to reach the rooms. the cafe serves a great breakfast (plenty). We had a room with a HUGE veranda overlooking the port with view of 2 of the Venetian fortresses. The room as huge and would be great for a family. However the shower was clogged up and needed some work. The other negative thing was that we had to carry our luggage up a lot of stairs. But... the view!!!

The hotel is located in the old town, at a stone throw to everything. Parking is not allowed at the premises, however you can load/unload luggages in front of the hotel. Our room is at the top, with a jacuzzi in the balcony, which will need to take steps for the highest foor. With heavy luggage, would be good to request rooms on 1st floor with direct lift access instead.

Rating of the hotel is and will be negatively impacted by the DJ of their own bar. DJ plays till far after midnight for an empty bar and his own sake. DJ is especially good in adding too much bass tones and by doing so disturbing hotel guest. If you are in your room sleeping or not, the bass tones are annoying and stressful. And it makes absolutely no sense to play so loud for an empty bar, no bar...

The rooms are spacious and beautifully constructed with materials such as stone sinks. The pool is surrounded by a garden that invites one to stay and luxuriate. The pension is across a loud music bar that is open until 3.00 AM everyday. (Check location and opening hours on Google maps). The one thing that bothered was the loud music playing just outside from a nearby bar. If you are a person that has problems with loud music trying to sleep, maybe reconsider the place to sleep..

Breakfast here has the best value for money as others mention too. The location is spot on! You're only 7 minutes away from the beach. Yet you're located right at the shopping district. The staff here are genuinely good people and you can feel that they are motivated and want you to have a nice experience. Pension Dafni is a nice little gem. Right on the outskirts of the old town, access to parking and within easy walking of the old town. We have just enjoyed a superb night here, it’s well located right on the edge of the town, we were driving and it was so easy to fine and parking no problem it’s everywhere including a car park 100 meters away. Our room was very spacious indeed, very well appointed with quality products, towels bedding etc. a great balcony to watch life go by, a great breakfast also with everything thought of.

Loved the location of this hotel right near the waterfront. Easy to walk around town from here. The staff were very helpful. Stayed in the grand suite which was relatively small for a suite. Also , no elevator so had to climb stairs a lot. The breakfasts were exceptionally good and varied. There were also street noises at night to contend with but earplugs helped.

The space of this room is quite big comparing to other pensions. It is very clean and tidy.

For the price, the hotel is great. Hopefully it gets a bathroom renovation soon and a slight update to the room. But for the location and that it’s in an absolutely beautiful and historic building, I’d stay again.

Budget friendly, not fancy Room was OK for price paid. Bed was very hard and no room to turn around in the room. We booked two rooms and they were in separate buildings a couple blocks apart. One was by the office which had a bird making noise most of the time. Street noise.
