Carpe Diem Boutique Hotel

We randomly found this place while surfing on booking in order to find our perfect little place for our trip to Nafplio. Carpe Diem Hotel directly catched our attention with its location : in the centre of the amazing old city, and also with its aesthetic and cozy looking rooms. The breakfast that they were offering with the stay was also very attractive.
With their flexible arriving times they made it very comfortable for us to arrive at 16h, and we were welcomed with a very comforting moment.
The reception is hosted by 3 very nice women who were always ready to help and give you advice on your stay in Nafplio. They were always there for us and caring, making sure we wouldn’t need anything.
Especially Martina and Katharina, who were a big value to our stay at the hotel with their care and their readiness to always give advice about the city and the surrounding area.
The room was small, but had everything we needed, but with the big terrace and the amazing view you don’t feel like you are missing any space.
The breakfast was amazing and personal, also the women who made and serve it were lovely and amazing people.
This is one of the numerous acts of care that they share with you !
Everyday our bed was made, and when we wanted a coffee or a drink we just had to go downstairs and ask.
Overall it is one of the most high quality and comforting vacations we have had, thanks to Carpe Diem, and the lovely team that’s making it great.

If we are in Nafplio again, this is where we will definitely be staying. Over and over.

Great boutique hotel in the heart of Nafplio. Excellent location and very clean with friendly staff.

The room was clean. But my (standart double room) room was small. The breakfast was prepared personally. I filled some option for breakfast and they cooked and served my breakfast. Staff in reception very kind and smiling.

We spent 3 nights here in a deluxe room in March. The location in Old Town is perfect. We parked at the port (free) and walked about 10 minutes to the hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful from check-in until the moment we left. The room wasn’t large, but most European hotel rooms aren’t. The view from the deck was positively charming. The bed was incredibly comfortable and linens so soft - best we experienced during all our time in Greece.

The breakfast system is a little different in that you place your order the evening before. However this works out well for us. The food was excellent and we always had exactly what we needed.

The location of the hotel was great - walkable to everything we needed. It was so nice to step out the door and be at the sea, or a restaurant, or a gelato shop, in less only a minute or two.

One thing of note: being in the middle of old town, with all its perks, also means more of the noises of old town and sounds of the city. If you are looking for more quiet, this may not be the perfect place for you. This is by no means the fault of the hotel - just a byproduct of the location itself. I slept with earplugs in and it was no problem.

If I could give a higher rating I would. Everything about Carpe Diem is wonderful: our room (Suite) was spotless and well decorated, the staff were all exceptionally friendly, the breakfast was delicious, the little touches were so appreciated and the location in the old town is perfect. The family-run feel is lovely and it is clearly a much loved and well organised business. We couldn't have chosen a better place. Thank you!

Lovely little hotel,; centrally located in the old town section of Nafplio. Staff was so kind and helpful.

Spent 4 nights here, using it as a base for exploring the Pelopenese Peninsula. Staff was warm and welcoming, providing recommendations and answering all of our questions.

Convenient location to everything in Nafplio, with great restaurants just outside the door.

Lovely 2 night stay in April. The location is fab - walking distance to the port parking and lots of good places to eat but still quiet at night. We upgraded to the panoramic room and would highly recommend. Staff was friendly and breakfast was yummy. The room isn’t huge - the balcony is almost bigger! But didn’t bother us. Soft bed
