Our room was tiny but for 2 days we managed. A longer stay would be uncomfortable. Very very cool house. Breakfast was good. One night there was no hot water but it was working the other times I tried. Great location unless you have a car. Parking is not that far but there are a lot of uphill and then downhill stairs which was challenging with suitcases.

The room is tiny, it is on the ground, I saw some small bugs, kind of scary.

Very good localization, directly by the port, in the beating heart of Napflio (sometimes beating loudly). Minus is parking, which is not at the hotel, and you have to spend some time looking for a spot, and be careful to not park at the resident’s place, the reception should instruct you about it. Great hotel in a great location near the water! The hotel is a bit older but is still a great place to stay. The only downside is the washroom and shower are small. Included breakfast buffet is great, fully stocked with everything you need.

The hotel manager - Panos is amazing. Went extra mile service for us to arrange last min laundry service so that we can get our fresh clothes before check out. Sadly there's no WiFi in the room. Room in need of some upgrading

The hotel is phenomenally well-located, and the owners were warm, welcoming, and accommodating. It is a small boutique hotel with just a few rooms, ours was a little small but was clean, had a nice tiled bathroom, and was exactly what we were expecting based on the pictures.

A cute little room with a comfortable bed, a big wardrobe and stylish old furnitures. The bathroom was spacious and elegant. The room felt very homey! I enjoyed my stay very much.

Unfortunately our room had no daylight, a very hard bed and no real bedcover which made our night quite cold. The location however was good and the owner very friendly.

The Avra hotel in Nafplion is a lovely little boutique hotel located within walking distance to Old Town, a plethora of restaurants, shopping, cafes, bakeries and supermarkets. While located on a busy road on one side, you cannot hear the traffic at all, making for a restful sleep. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms large. The hotel is extremely clean. It is a cool little place.

The highlight of the hotel is the kindness and hospitality of the personel! :) It is located in a 5-10min walking distance from city centre, therefore very convenient! What I didn't like that much is that: a) the shower is very small and protected via a curtain, which is constantly touching your body while showering. It is a nice enough 2 star hotel. It was clean. Rooms were small. Breakfast was good. My only complaint was the tiny shower. While in the shower the curtain touches you constantly which is not very sanitary. I would recommend staying here despite this

The hotel is pretty old and the rooms are in desperate need of a spruce. The walls were dirty and, in general, the room could have been cleaner. Also, the walls are paper thin so do not expect to sleep in here. The breakfast included the bare minimum, seems like it hasn't been updated since the 70s. Very good location as it is just outside the center of the old town. The staff were very helpful and kind. As far as the rooms are considered they were somewhat clean ( thank god the bathroom was clean 🤣) my sheets were clean but my friends sheets had some stains of blood I believe but nothing too serious.

Great hotel to stay at!! Loved our stay, and the views were absolutely fantastic. Be warned, the hill going up to the hotel (if you are driving there in a car) is a bit difficult to maneuver and park up there. Outside of that logistical note, the stay was excellent, facilities were on point, and the manager was kind and welcoming!

Easy, good price, clean, enough space for two people. But there were no additionall blankets, no hair dryer, uncomfortable bed (it was too soft, so we were laying like a banana). The hotel is situated on a very steep hill, not every car and driver can reach this location. In the direct enviroment there are no taverns like you may expect. The hotel is located at the hill foot of the old castle of Nafplio. Rooms are very spacious and clean and the prices are more than reasonable. Service is excellent. The only downside I could see is that is not easily accessible by foot due to uphill road. Other than that is highly recommended.

I visited with my mother and grandmother. The room was a perfect size for three adults. Room service was nice with fresh towels each day. The employees were friendly, made excellent breakfasts, and provided good recommendations for places to go in town. The location is walking distance from the old town. I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting.

Perfect mountain getaway We enjoyed our stay at Lake Junaluska! The house was very clean and perfect for our needs with 2 small families. Comfortable bed, clean room and lovely breakfast.

Very nice and comfortable place a few km from the center. A/C and Wi-Fi work very well. There is a terrace. The shower is very large. Very clean and well furnished. It did not affect our stay but they rent as apartments but at least in ours there was no kitchen.

We booked a double bed but was told on arrival only two singles available. The receptionist did her best, put a topper on the two singles. The restaurant she highly recommended was closed, Saturday night. The shower doors didn't close, it was generally unclean as on photos. I appreciate you get what you pay for but I feel this was somewhat less for what we paid.

The hotel is a family hotel located on a hillside. There is a public parking lot next to the hotel. After parking, you have to walk about 100 meters with your luggage, and the road is narrow and bumpy. The hotel does not have an elevator and you have to climb more than ten steps to get there. If the guest room is on the second floor, you have to climb up with your luggage, which is not very convenient...

Great service. Breakfast was perfect (only 12€) with sea view. Climbing up the stairs (city stairs) to the hotel was hard with the luggage. Only later we found out that there is a public parking close by, and you can drive around without going through the narrow streets.

Home away from home This place is a beautiful home with character. We had Verde house and it was really comfortable and relaxing. It was clean, tidy and very enjoyable. There's only a slight issue and that is you have to carry your belongings up the stairs. We were on the first floor and we only had one suitcase so we were ok but the steps are sharp for perhaps someone with sore knees.

A small family hotel with clean rooms in the center of Nafplio. The guy in the reception was really helpful. However nothing special about this place but for that price tag you cannot expect something more. Highly recommend it if you want to leave your things somewhere take a hot shower and sleep for a couple of days.

Location just opposite to the bus stop to Athens, Mykines, Argos etc. Old town is just a short walk away. Nice and friendly owner who provides you with all information about public transport to the surroundings and all other destinations. Rooms are simple and have everything you need except water cooker.

Casual hotel at the city of Nauplio, about 20 minutes on foot (approximately) from the old town and the port. It is an old and quiet hotel, a renovation will make it a more attractive accomodation option, but it is an inexpensive one. Parking area is available for customers, the staff is friendly and polite.

Nice hotel in a very good location, we liked that it wasn't in the middle of the square, so it was quieter. Service was great, the restaurant/bar is very quaint and breakfast was good. Rooms are fine, bathrooms are smaller. You do need to park in the public parking and walk to the hotel and depending on time it could be tough to find parking. would stay here again.

We went to this nice hotel for dinner at the terrasse. We were greeted with greek hospitality at its best and we had sublime dinner and some very good wine. The atmophere was very relaxed evne though the terrasse is just bext to the harbour. We’ll come back next time we go to Nafplio.

We spent lovely days at Grande Bretagne and enjoyed our stay very much. Lovely peaceful hotel in the heart of the charming old town of Nafplio. Hotel is close to everything: main sights, restaurants, shops. Very comfortable and clean room with the sea view and Bourtzi castle, delicious breakfast.
