We stayed one night. EXTREMELY LOUD MUSIC all night long on a Saturday night. Started around 11pm and continued until at least 6:30 in the morning. Ear plugs/white noise does nothing. The bass vibrates into your head and chest. I kept thinking it would quit at 2, 4, 5am. It just kept going. I got maybe 2 hours of sleep. The hotel needs to advertise this will happen and take action to mitigate it. It's unacceptable.

Also, no water kettles in the room. Only coffee available is a Nespresso machine in the lobby for €1.

While spacious, the room was only adequate. There were signs everywhere the place was poorly maintained, from dirty floor tiles to a rock-hard bed & sandpaper sheets. The hotel's receptionist was friendly but I can't give service a higher rating because no one answered our calls when we used the phone for extra pillows (we got two superflat ones for 2 adults) and to answer another unrelated question. I gave 5 stars on location because we chose this hotel primarily for its close proximity to the ferry port and inexpensive pricing.

If you want a cheap room close to the port, this is it. If you want a comfortable bed, a nice shower, and no back pain in the morning, this is not it. The bed feels like I'm laying on box springs wrapped in butcher paper, AKA sheets. This is one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in and the sheets are almost abrasive, they're so rough. The shower has a detachable shower head but no attachment for the actual head so it's up to you to hold it above your head. The floor in the bathroom doesn't appear to have been cleaned and the room smelled like smoke. The noise from outside is so loud, i could hear someone rolling their luggage down the sidewalk. The room itself though, is a nice size and there is a couch that's a little more comfy. Overall, the room is more like a hostel than an actual hotel.

Bed super uncomfortable. The hotel failed in the one thing most important. You could feel the springs pointing up inside the mattress. I've had way better mattress in a 4€ hostel bed. Didn't sleep much. Even the receptionist was nice when we arrived I have to give one star for service since the one that was working when we went down and complained did nothing to try to help us. We asked to be moved to another room but then we would have to pay again!? They didn't even give us extra blankets to put on the loysy mattress. No refund, nothing. Waste of money.
