Travelled here during the pandemic of Sept 2021. After a fraught nervous flight (still couldn't believe that we were travelling) this hotel was a pleasant relief. Understandably quiet but full of charecter and charm. Clean and having the friendliest staff group. The food is good and service lovely. The beach is 10 minutes walk away and you can get a bus to Heraklion over the road, wherby the shops...

Very kind people working here... Diane helped us with apartment switch with no cost, and she helped us finding a way to get to the hotel. Thanks 😊... Big areas inside the hotel where kids could run and play... Good pool. You get a home feeling which is good. Food is on the scarce side and just OK taste and quality. Breakfast is almost minimum. Golf court is a ruin and a joke but football court is usable...

OK let's get this right the hotel is over 4 buildings. The beach fronted rooms are hard to get and if not book early you are not getting one. Pool bar is great but then you get charge €6 for the sun beds and pay for drinks even if your on all Inc. The pool bar is included. Beach is nearby, 5 min. walk but the hotel a pool with sunbeds which is a huge advantage. For example when the wind is strong and the waves arev so huge that lifeguards don't allow people to go into the sea...

It was a simple but clean and tidy hotel. Lovely bed. We found the food fine, Greek / European but not much choice. Breakfast was a bit sparse but sufficient. A real Greek hotel that is run by a family. Little music or fun at the hotel.

A very cozy, home-like place. The hotel grounds are beautifully green, filled with pleasantly fragrant roses, and feature two-story sections. Just got back from a week at the Maria Lambis, The apartments are clean and tidy and the cleaners come in every other day. The pool bar food isn't great or good very basic. Just returned from here. Very good value for money. We were not expecting the Ritz and the minor problems we had with the room such as the coffee machine and one wall plug were sorted immediately. Nice pool, set in pleasant gardens. Have stayed here a number of times and enjoyed. Great facilities and staff, with the exception of one bar member intent on treating you unwelcome, an intruder and setting rules by which to abide. All other staff are lovely and this one member lets the team down.

Sincerely one of my best experiences on a holiday. I was a bit skeptical about the room my first night at the hotel but the hotel staff. the kitchen crew and everything else was just top notch. I highly recommend.

If our travel agents had warned us the hotel is on a steep hill with loads of slopes and stairs, we would not have come. The staff are great. And we always found something hot to eat. We were at Villa Malia for 12 days and had a room on the poolside. The room was renovated and looked really modern with a very comfortable shower. Every day our room got cleaned, which was really nice. Breakfast was included with more than enough options each day with fresh fruit. Very nice, recently renovated rooms. Super friendly staff and very nice cocktail bar/lounge. Swimmingpool is big enough, and sunbeds are for free. Our airconditioning did not work properly, so we mentioned this in the morning and within one hour there were two mechanics fixing the issue. They came even back to check if it was still working. We didnt stay at Sundance but used the pool and cafe area everyday. We were made most welcome by the lovely staff, the ladies who ran the cafe /pool area were so lovely, always smiling and were constantly cleaning and took so much pride in their jobs. We enjoyed the food we had and the amenities on offer. Their moto is "make me smile" and they certainly did.

Sundance in Crete is an incredibly beautiful and warm apartment complex with a team that exudes hospitality. Located right on the beach, this property also had a lovely pool. Spacious rooms had an amazing view of the ocean from our balcony. Close to everything, the beach, shopping, and excellent dining.
