Really nice hotel and beautiful hotel area! But they still have some unrenovated rooms which we had and they aren't that nice to be honest. Somehow it's a thing that there are many public toilets you can't lock all over Crete and also in the hotel area. Everything else was fine.

A very cozy, home-like place. The hotel grounds are beautifully green, filled with pleasantly fragrant roses, and feature two-story sections. We spend a week there in early August. One of the best stays we ever had. We had to change rooms and they were really nice and professional about it. The staff is very good, the atmosphere amazing. Excellent family hotel in Crete! We are currently on our 2nd visit , we couldn't fault either stay. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and can't do enough for you. The pools are perfect for children and there are quiet areas for adults to relax too. There is a variety of food in the restaurant and snack bars, plenty of choice. A great, clean hotel with great staff and a good range of facilities. My particular favourite is yoga/meditation followed by a Greek coffee or home made iced tea (really is at slightly different each day) the animation team have been really good. Although all inclusive it is worth while taking a 10-12 euro taxi into a village to seek out Cretan food, often with a stunning view.

The Royal Heights Resort impresses with its spectacular view over Malia. The room seemed in good condition, though it was obvious that renovations are needed sooner than later. Staff was always attentive and very friendly, they were trying their best everyday.

We have just had the most incredible days staying at Esperides Resort. From the moment we arrived, all staff were outstanding. Very nice hotel, wonderful views. We had two rooms, one very big corner room with sea view and one sea view room with a double bed and extra bed. This was very small for three people, but manageable. Breakfast and dinner had a good choice. There were a lot of 18-20year old boys/girls groups from Holland, but it wasn't an issue for us.
