The evening we always went to George he was lovely ( forgot to give me some Olive Oil to take home ) 🤣 The bar staff worked really hard we never waited long for a drink. Elli was so lovely with a beautiful smile

Bus stop 29 is a a 5 min walk from the hotel and takes you to Héraklion for only 4 Euro per person! Ignore the review that says no direct access to the beach from the hotel (unless you require step free access)

We chose this Hotel so that we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings after a tough few years being diagnosed with breast cancer 🩷. Well done to all staff for making our holiday a memorable one

Evening entertainment was great. Joanne & Alessandro worked really hard keeping on top of their schedual. Pool area and beach was kept clean with staff keeping us hydrated

Book junior suite with private pool and you can eat and drink how much you want. One 6 dishes dinner just in a private place included. Big pool with bar which put the a few seats in the pool

No activities at the hotel, the swimming pools are not heated, but no information on activities to do in Crete in general and no activities planned by the hotel during the day or evening, nothing at all

The quality of the food is also very good and selection of such is very good, something for everyone. Pools, Sauna, gym, aswell as the bars are available to all guests. Massages are a special service though

We had a very good and relaxing full body massage, aole vera packing and facial treatment by Anja and Eirini. After that we could use the SPA facilities. We loved it!!

There is a large indoor pool and several types of saunas. I also recommend getting a massage — I had one with Demetrius, and I really enjoyed it

The rooms were really clean and spacious and the hotel grounds were well kept. The only thing that could be improved is the children’s entertainment as it was lacking

We found it too expensive for what it offered and compared to how is presented on internet. Not worth 120 Eur/night but overall if you find a good deal it is a good pick. Do not expect a huge breakfast though

Good location in the center of Stalis. Hotel recently renovated, few meters far from the see it offers a nice view on it. The reception service is a bit poor. The ladies working here are instead lovely

Sun beds are free near the swimming pool but have a price at the beach (dont belong to the hotel but prices are reasonable)

All staff were excellent bar none and we would award a gold star award to Irini in the restaurant and Zinon the perpetual motion bar manager who both went far beyond expectations to ensure we enjoyed the stay with their humour and hard work

Rooms are a good size, clean. Close to amenities and the bus stops are directly outside/ across the rd. Restaurant offered a great selection of food

Great Place, excellent rooms, quite a good service and tasty food! The approach of the hotel to the menu is unusual as if you have all inclusive, you still have to pay for the beverages and getting a glass of water or a coffee is quite expensive, so we had to have parties separately in our rooms… however the location is great and my family enjoyed swimming in the sea 🌊 and Greece 🇬🇷 is proudly Orthodox...

So many facilities and everything is absolutely spotless. The staff are wonderful and so friendly. The breakfast is probably the best I’ve ever had in a hotel

Unfortunately, this hotel didn’t quite live up to expectations

Housekeeping was hit-or-miss (our bin full of baby diapers wasn’t emptied even after asking at reception), the “double bed” was just two singles drifting apart, and the baby cot came with a folded adult sheet that turned into a nightly wrestling match

To add to the chaos, the restaurants and bars sit right next to each other, blasting different music at the same time – imagine trying to enjoy your meal while stuck between two competing DJs

But what is fantastic are the little extra gems like the place called Sunset (where you can eat once as an all-inclusive guest at no extra charge). Everything there was extremely beautiful and extremely delicious

We spend a week there in early August. One of the best stays we ever had. We had to change rooms and they were really nice and professional about it. The staff is very good, the atmosphere amazing

A Perfect spa experience for the end of my Trip. I felt very much taken care of, especially by my spa therapist Maria Tha. She was kind and very meticulous with the treatment. I would recommend her for the Cretan massage

The rooms were cleaned daily, at a convenient time for us, the facilities were also exceptionally clean and the gym was great! There was live entertainment including an Abba show, magic show for kids, plays and karaoke for all

The kids klubb was lovely for my cousins. The entertainment was so nice and put in a lot of effort. My aunt went there last year and the hotel and entertainment has had a great improvement. Wonderful!

The only difficulty we encountered during our stay was the access our daughter had to opening our room door from within the room, we felt safe but had to take special precautions to ensure she didn’t leave unattended

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. A 20-30min drive from Heraklion. Different pools to choose from and some water slides. Although the water was a bit on the colder side in October but we still swam

One of those events per night. Our kids loved the food variety, pool and entertainment provided. Lots of activities for kids which allowed for some adult time too. Check-in and out staff were helpful with advice too

Can go to the beach too which is owned by another hotel but that's fine. Some people say the pool towels cost extra but the first one is free and you're free to use it throughout the week

Just back from a ten day stay at Grand Hotel. Super clean rooms and dining areas. Pool areas power hosed every morning and then mopped by the very hard working cleaners

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, Malia is perfect for a girls holiday and Socrates hotel is surrounded by the best restaurants and bars and only a ten minute walk from the strip, the staff (Despina and Eleni) were amazing!!! We loved every second of our stay and want to come back!

location good let's itself down with zero entertainment for the adults and the 2 pools not 3 are not large however the low-level large pool was great. could not have stayed here with a family of 4

plus when I said give me all inclusive as compensation you lost the plot we don't drink alcohol. 1 beer and 1 wine 3 local spirits that would have been shocking at 480 euro. all I wanted was post mix coca cola

i don't want to criticise too much but I hope they read this and take on board there are much better around them and next time in malia stalls area we will be booking a proper 4 star Hotel

I did email to request a lower room rather than high in the hills if possible and the request was granted which we were thankful for! The room was spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets

The name of this hotel is now Elios Hill , fully renovated and in a very beautiful way... I highly recommend this hotel in the Chersonissios area...You will be fully satisfied!!!

Animation team were good but to be totally honest the evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss. Nothing a few extra beers didn't alleviate. Rooms are basic but who goes on holiday to sit in their room

Overbooking seems to be a common issue here and the other hotel is used regularly- our room (362) was ready the following morning (as check out is at 11) but we spent a while waiting at Stalis for our taxi (supplied by the hotel)

On one occasion, she turned away a baby and told the mother to take it to the children's pool even tho it wasn't making any noise or causing bother to any other guests who clearly didn't mind their presence

Our room was also full of spiders, ants and mosquitoes that bit us during the night. We were forced to use a towl to kill them. The toilet matt was also dirty and the bath had chips and marks

It was my first time in Greece. And what a nice experience it was. The location of the hotel is ideal , with 2 private pools and steps away from the beach and Sea. Amazing food and great personnel

The ambiance is everything you can wish for. A nice family that is running it with the intention to serve your every need. The food is excellent, and also very cheap. The pool is lovely, and well taken care of

Simple apartment but very clean and comfortable. Run by a very attentive family who are very considerate. The complex is a calm oasis near to many lovely beaches and with it's own good sized pool

The family are fluent in English, and very understanding when you attempt to converse in Greek. A 30 second walk has you on the beach with glorious sand, and crystal clear water

The place was clean, I agree rooms maybe need some upgrades but ours was more than adequate for our needs. Kids paid for room WiFi which worked fine but I was happy with access around the rest of the hotel

We arrived after midnight and were offered food which really does not happen elsewhere- so kind of reception. Beach is 5mins walk so you dont get bored. 26 degrees all week at the end of October

This place is absolutely amazing. Everyone who works for Hotel Dessole is super friendly. The food here is very nice, the best I've had at an all inclusive. I would 100% return here in the future

Everything in Malia is easily reached by walking from here, it's just a few minutes to the beach and the party part of Malia is right around the corner. There's supermarkets right on the other side of the street

Old Malia town is across the road and so are the restaurants, whilst the ‘strip’ is a few minutes in the other direction- the rooms are quiet at night. Easy access to the bus stop to Heraklion and Ag Nik

Luckily, the staff was very friendly and helpful (family-run) and they moved us to another room, overlooking the pool. It was much better - modern beds and no noise at all
