Give them time because you can see what they are striving for. Had a chat with some of the staff and they followed it to a T one or two things was not ever going to get them a 5 star unfortunately

In the area there are also many shops, restaurants and opportunities to go on any excursions both in Crete and on all the islands. We will be happy to come here again!

We had a 3 week stay at I Resort Beach Hotel & Spa, had a fantastic time all due to the beautiful location, cleanliness, gorgeous food, wonderful staff throughout the hotel, rooms cleaned daily and bed changed every few day's, korres products in the room were a lovely touch high quality value for money and would definitely return in the future

Just as long as you realise in some countries a lot in fact what’s classed as a 5 star abroad that it would equal 4 stare maybe 4 abd half although the beach resort are above a 5 in someways but not in others

All the hotel went over and above to make us feel comfortable and relaxed from the reception to the service. We got 3 massages each and it wasn't enough. The staff are very professional

We found it too expensive for what it offered and compared to how is presented on internet. Not worth 120 Eur/night but overall if you find a good deal it is a good pick. Do not expect a huge breakfast though

Good location in the center of Stalis. Hotel recently renovated, few meters far from the see it offers a nice view on it. The reception service is a bit poor. The ladies working here are instead lovely

Sun beds are free near the swimming pool but have a price at the beach (dont belong to the hotel but prices are reasonable)

We have not tried the restaurant. Internet is available only in the common areas not in the rooms

They prepared some food for everybody that checked the first night after dinner time. They didn't have to, very much appreciated! Very friendly staff and the best most beautiful location around the coast of Crete

At the end of August, my wife and I organized a wedding in Crete. We accommodated all our guests in the Horizon hotel, which was a hit. The reception staff were very helpful, the cleaning team was thorough

This is an excellent beach hotel!!!! Sea view is fantastic and the accommodation is very good! Rooms are very comfort and new! The food is also excellent, fresh drinks and beautiful pool bar!! We are here for 10 days everything is great. The familyroom is soo nice and clean they clean it every 2 days. The staff is amazing and helpful with love. Theo is the manager is great person he help us with everything

You need to bring your own shower gel and shampoo. There are a couple of pools, with a separate one for the children. We had entertainment most nights, but this was probably due to being at the end of the season

Thanks to the chef for the delicious local food!!! Nowhere else have I met an additional charge for using an air conditioner. In the modern world, this is bad manners.

However they had left a note for us downstairs once we arrived at 1am telling us where to find our room keys which was great! The room was really good for the price we had paid and also included a balcony with sea views

I went with my best friend, and we were worried as there were no recent updates online on this villa. This apartment is in Stalis (not Malia) next to Heliotrope apartments which is also run by the same person (Manos)

beautiful! It is literally a 5 minute walk down to the beach and 2 minutes away from the strip which has great restaurants (e. g AKTI - highly recommend!!!) Rooms are cleaned everyday, with fresh towels

The girls running the place are very kind and helpful which made the stay even nicer! The swimming pool is open 24/7 so you could go for a swim at night and they also have a bar open during the day

We felt very safe in the area, it is on the main road which is not so busy. There is a bus service running which costs €1. 80 (one way) less than a minute away from the apartment

You can hire bikes/quadbikes/cars for a very good price down the road. Note: there are only stairs so would not be convenient for anyone with walking difficulties

The only place you could use it was in the main lobby and even there the connection wasn't perfect. The pool was full of chemicals and hurt your face and eyes after 10 minutes. Otherwise it was amazing and beautiful

The staff at the hotel are very welcoming and particularly kind and understanding of families with kids. The beach has sun lounges that are owned by the hotel which makes it very accessible and easy to use

The spa is very fun; they let you bargain as part of the daily deal, which is an experience in itself. However, the service there is also five-star. There is even tennis available. The tennis coach is a really cool guy

But what is fantastic are the little extra gems like the place called Sunset (where you can eat once as an all-inclusive guest at no extra charge). Everything there was extremely beautiful and extremely delicious

Great hotel with friendly and polite staff, with fantastic facilities and multiple pools. However if you want the beach you'll need to get the free shuttle bus to the golden beach, approximately 5 minutes away

All inclusive* (*from 10:30 to 22:30) The hotel overall is good, could be great but there is just too much unnecessary annoyance especially bad micromanaging and it's more suited for families or older people

It was located close to the newly revamped kids fun pool which our two couldn't get enough of! Our 8 year old also loved the big slides on the waterpark! We all had an unforgettable weeks holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel!

Just got back from 4nights at this hotel it was complete bliss. More restaurants and hooka lounges within 15-20 min walk. The Buddha Bar restaurant was so good

The sushi was perfect I ordered the same thing everyday! The hotel grounds truly breath taking with the sunset views. They gave us a free room upgrade with a plunge pool. Service and staff were so friendly and helpful

plus when I said give me all inclusive as compensation you lost the plot we don't drink alcohol. 1 beer and 1 wine 3 local spirits that would have been shocking at 480 euro. all I wanted was post mix coca cola

i don't want to criticise too much but I hope they read this and take on board there are much better around them and next time in malia stalls area we will be booking a proper 4 star Hotel

owner needs to understand that not all customers are used to booking 4 stars and receiving a 3 star room

My kids would make haste for the pool every morning! We would have breakfast (and any other meal we have at the apartment) on the patio facing the pool. It's priceless getting that relaxed feeling

A glass of wine (or raki!) by the pool watching the sunset, whether the kids are in the pool or not, is something I'll never forget. Katerina and Manos (and Katerina's sister), were wonderful hosts

The beach opposite the apartments is small, but very interesting. A sandy beach with a little cave. Although quite rocky around, it makes a great collection of rock pools

The location is perfect! It's still in Hersonissos, yet far from the madding crowd. But if you want to feel the buzz of the city, it's hardly a drive down the road

The hotel does have its own shop buts it’s a bit expensive so best to nip into the town. They had shows each night plus the kids club all which was in the theatre. They had arcade machines, a gym and a yoga room

This place is great! It’s all wheelchair accessible but some of the pathways to some of the rooms are fairly steep and could pose difficulties in pushing

Just returned from a 10 day stay here and what a fantastic hotel,the rooms(ours anyway,526) were in a cottage style ,simply furnished but with a/c,fridge and a decent shower and comfy bed and a sea view that looked out over the town of Hersonnisos and beyond

The family are fluent in English, and very understanding when you attempt to converse in Greek. A 30 second walk has you on the beach with glorious sand, and crystal clear water

It’s a lovely hotel with a really nice buffet we went end of October it was a lot quieter which was nice and went to some lovely beaches nearby had some great food at the hotel, the food was all great lots of choice

High Beach and High Beach White and they share the facilities. We had the opportunity to see both parts. The High Beach was more a family style kids friendly place and White was adults only, quiet relax place

yes in the kitchen but I didn't intend to unpack on that bed. It is an apartment where you can cook but not serious cooking. They should have a kitchen cloth for dishes
