The hotel is not next to the beach, but this is not an issue! You can have a transfer from there to any place that you want to visit. People who work there are amazing! Service is great! We used the transfer to go to the beach and the girl who brought us there was lovely! Thank you very much for the great time! The view was breathtaking!Recommend it! ☀️

Came to the Varres as at the end of our holiday my wife was admitted to hospital on the day we should have flown home. Moved to Varres Hotel as it is close if not the closest to the hospital. All the staff were brilliant and their shuttle service spot on , can’t fault the hotel or staff, and when we are back in Zakynthos will head for the Varres rather then a beach all inclusive hotel .

Excellent place! If you are in Zante for a quiet and peaceful vacation - Varres is a great place for that. Rooms are cosy, the pool is ultra clean and the staff is just perfect. 30 minutes to the port by foot, or 7-8 mins with a car. Shuttles were available for anywhere on the island. Hotel restaurant is just what you need for a cosy evening - food was great! Can’t wait for the next visit!

A nice hotel. The rooms were neat and well cared for, though the atmosphere felt a bit lacking (with one of the lamps it had a bit of an aquarium vibe, but that was mostly just funny). The pool was nice and clean. The breakfast was absolutely stunning: lots of choice, tasty and with nice staff. Recommend if you're going for a good hotel, rather than a cute or lively one.

Well renovated. Great staff. Managed my group of 28 very professionally. Rented rooms for a birthday and had many day trips based from their lobby haha. Planned a 40 person dinner on their beautiful terrace in the Solomon’s square. Was super nice with good service.

Lovely hotel we stayed for 10 nights,maid service everyday we were all inclusive and food was lovely never that busy in restaurant, breakfast was great and had a choice of everything, staff lovely and friendly, great location close to all amenities and beach but just tucked up little Rd so nice and quiet at night.

Hotel/Apartment was fine, minus the fact that the missus woke up after the first night to find bread on her leg... stripped the bed to find 10 or so slices of bread under the sheet. Hotel dealt with it promptly but it puts doubts in your head as to how well the rooms are cleaned and if the entire bed make up is changed between occupiers. 🤮 Staff on the restaurant were great, couldn't be more helpful...

Spent a fabulous week here. The staff are so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely, with two balconies! Food in the restaurant was very good and reasonable. The pool was lovely and just half an hours walk away was a fabulous beach and lots of bars and restaurants. Everyone we met, taxi drivers, bar and restaurant staff etc were really friendly. Can't wait to go back.

The absolute best. The owners are incredibly nice, the localisation is good as it's close to the beach, the rooms themselves are very good-looking, there's a pool here, a garden, you can pay and have delicious breakfast and other meals here... in general, if you're still hesitating whether to pick this hotel or not, please do, you'll be more than satisfied.

Incessant noise. The hotel is on the road. Incessant traffic noise and smog (cars, trucks, pullman, moto, quads). The nice pool is equally plagued. I had to use air conditioning at night to shelter from the noise. Do not stay there without a car or scooter. My room (for one) is huge, two double beds, a sofa (bed?), shower room and a kitchenette - fully equipped. Even has a bottle opener. Great hotel with fantastic, friendly staff, had to pay extra for air con, along with a small venue/tourist tax which we did not appreciate, though the blame could be put on our tour operator for giving the impression that such things were included. Meridien is in the central of Argassi mading it easy to meet old friends and make new. I had a small batroom problem with the hot water. It was delt with within the hour. That's what I would call efficient.

Very nice and cute hotel, nice hospitality and amazing views if the sea. Nice bar beside the pool, where you can relax and have a cold beer. Super clean and all rooms have a small kitchen and a fridge. The only negative you can hear some noises from thr room beside you, if the guests are a bit loud.

The staff here are amazing. I'm sorry to say that I did not learn the name of the lady who works at the front desk during the day, but she was the absolute best and did everything she could to make things more pleasant for us. We had an issue with the air conditioning in the first room and they upgraded us to a different room for free. I also liked that the landscaping is old and mature... the vines...

The rooms are outdated needing a renovation, but they are clean at least. The breakfast is not a big deal but it's okayish. Very nice and modern hotel in a very good location. Many restaurants right around the corner and just a great spot to be in on the island. Room was clean and modern, shower and bed were good. Breakfast was good too. Only downside is that they make you pay €10 per night extra for airconditioning, and the pool had so much chlorine in it that it made our skin yellow. Overall great stay!

Great place for any type of group. I was out of season (end of September) and the children by the pool did not bark ;-) Pool nice and very clean with beutyful greens aroud. The apartment was roomy, cleaned regularly. The hosts very nice and helpful.

Awesome hotel with awesome management. In the room everything was clean. There is an awesome pool in the middle of the property. Hotel has a restaurant in the front with a variety of different Greek foods. We enjoyed our 8 days at the hotel and we definitely recomand staying at this hotel.

The room was okay, the bathroom toilet was a bit broken and the door was broken as well. The bedrooms were really comfortable though and the air condition was fine. The pool was very clean and warm.

Unfortunately the ladies who work there we waking us up every morning at 6am as they were chatting very very loudly. The room was very hot and didn’t have air conditioning, you could order that for extra 6 euros a day. The towels were not changed one day. Breakfast was very modest and the same everyday. + hotel is located right next to the sea, has private beach with free sun beds + good views from the balcony + suite was okay, but reconstruction needed + nice hotel workers - breakfasts was awful, everyday! It should be illegal to feed people this way - suits located above the road could be very noisy - 10 euro/day for air conditioning is wild!

If you use the hotel only to sleep and not stay in the room, then ok, if you are going to spend time here, I do not recommend it. Rooms facing the road very noisy, moldy bathrooms, cleanliness very bad. Simple breakfast. Very good location, beautiful view. For undemanding

First of all this hotel is located right at the beach and shares the swimming pool with hotel paradise next to it. View from balcony is great when you have sea view. I've stayed in several hotels in Argassi. It had the most comfortable beds! We had wonderful stay! So great, that I organised my camp there. Everyone was over the moon and back. I think it is great value for your money. Yes the aircon is to be paid separately just like all other hotels in Zakynthos. The rooms have a big fridge included as well, cleaned every day. That is clearly stated in advance....
