The hotel is not next to the beach, but this is not an issue! You can have a transfer from there to any place that you want to visit. People who work there are amazing! Service is great! Came to the Varres as at the end of our holiday my wife was admitted to hospital on the day we should have flown home. Moved to Varres Hotel as it is close if not the closest to the hospital. All the staff were brilliant and their shuttle service spot on , can’t fault the hotel or staff, and when we are back in Zakynthos will head for the Varres rather then a beach all inclusive hotel .

Excellent place! If you are in Zante for a quiet and peaceful vacation - Varres is a great place for that. Rooms are cosy, the pool is ultra clean and the staff is just perfect. 30 minutes to the port by foot, or 7-8 mins with a car. Shuttles were available for anywhere on the island. Hotel restaurant is just what you need for a cosy evening - food was great! Can’t wait for the next visit!

A nice hotel. The rooms were neat and well cared for, though the atmosphere felt a bit lacking (with one of the lamps it had a bit of an aquarium vibe, but that was mostly just funny). The pool was nice and clean. The breakfast was absolutely stunning: lots of choice, tasty and with nice staff. Recommend if you're going for a good hotel, rather than a cute or lively one.

Excellent service. Our room was spacious and looked renovated or new. It was a 2 space room. Breakfast was fine. The pools were very good for relaxing time. You can walk to Tsilivi leisure area or drive a few minutes to Zakynthos town. We will visit Petros hotel again!

Lovely little hotel. Nice pool with a smaller one out the back for the very young children. The breakfast is rather poor quality though. Staff extremely friendly.

Nice, clean budget hotel. Friendly staff and located a bit away from the town centre of Tsilivi. This is a good thing as it is quieter than normal so very relaxing. I am staying at this hotel at the moment , and what I will say is we are loving it here , everything is spotless , the food is lovely and plentiful , it’s an all inclusive buffet , I have stayed at a lot of all inclusive hotels and this is lovely , so ignore the bad reviews , I’m glad I did !! Absolutely brilliant. Staff excellent. They are totally dedicated to you. They really become your family. Clean bedding and towels almost daily. Views are amazing..... Very nice quiet place with an amazing view. Close to a touristic beach that is fun for one or two days and whatever shops and rentals you might need. Great breakfast and dinner with vegetarian options. Very friendly staff. The water is heated by solar energy so that might be a bit uncomfortable, but I personally value the ecological side of it. Definitely recommend!

Was great to be back last month May 2022 for a week. As always spotlessly clean, towels and beds changed regularly during visit, sure it was 3 times. Sandy and Giannis as welcoming as ever, met up with old friends,looking forward to going back. Its a great place, you are really looked after here, even if you travel alone you make friends and people look out for you.

The absolute best. The owners are incredibly nice, the localisation is good as it's close to the beach, the rooms themselves are very good-looking, there's a pool here, a garden, you can pay and have delicious breakfast and other meals here... in general, if you're still hesitating whether to pick this hotel or not, please do, you'll be more than satisfied.

Very cool! Although it is not in the town, it takes about half an hour to walk to this hotel, but it is also on the pick-up route for each group. It is very quiet, the environment is very good, and the facilities are great. It is relatively cheap to stay alone, and the price/performance ratio is very good👍

The hotel certainly needs a refresh but it has many positive aspects in its favor: the strategic location, the not small swimming pool, the size of the rooms and the cleanliness. I also add the courtesy of the owner, always smiling and ready to help guests. Overall an excellent choice, also for the quality-price ratio.

I had to use air conditioning at night to shelter from the noise. Do not stay there without a car or scooter. We have stayed at the Semes hotel twice now. The first time was October 2023, (end of the season). The 2nd was May 2024(beginning of the season). We had a fantastic time on both occasions. Meridien is in the central of Argassi mading it easy to meet old friends and make new. I had a small batroom problem with the hot water. It was delt with within the hour. That's what I would call efficient.

Very nice and cute hotel, nice hospitality and amazing views if the sea. Nice bar beside the pool, where you can relax and have a cold beer. Super clean and all rooms have a small kitchen and a fridge. The only negative you can hear some noises from thr room beside you, if the guests are a bit loud.
