stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a great experience. First of all, it’s located in the city center, which is very convenient. The price is very reasonable for Zakynthos Island

Additionally, the rooms are clean and spacious. We booked a sea view room, and the view was fantastic. The hotel’s breakfast was also quite good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Modern clean rooms. Very helpful staff. A short walk to restaurants and attractions. Good WiFi. Parking available which was great. Next to a school but that didn’t impact. Really enjoyed our stay.

Also to be able to step ten paces outside the front door of the hotel into one of the main squares in Zante Old Town where all of the bars and restaurants are is wonderful

If it comes to cons, it located in the city center and has the view on sea (on harbor, to be exact) and has a 'roof garden' with a bar and swimming pool. The staff was nice and helpful, especially at the reception

Very beautiful hotel right in the middle of the port city of Zakinthos! Our room was superb, incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated, with a intimate balcony from which we could admire the sunsets and the boats in the port

Its clean and cute. The room are clean. The pool is good the water very good in summer. In morning the food is good and tasy. On the terrace you can see the harbor. I recommend this hotel. ☺??

Local tours are available at reception. Water pressure at sink is too low to use ended using the shower tap. Staff speaks proper English and friendly for non-greek tourist. Toilet ventilation is connected to next room

My family and I highly recommend the amazing Hotel Varres! All of the staff were extremely friendly and polite - they helped us with a couple of restaurant recommendations (which were excellent) and spots to visit along the coastline and in the city centre

Great hotel, with friendly staff, very clean, good parking space, and great breakfast! The hotel is located in a great location with view to a green mountain! The place enforces all the measures against COVID-19 and even more strictly when serving breakfast! Excellent breakfast options with multilingual staff ready to help you at any time! All areas in the hotel were very clean - the rooms got cleaned daily and the pool area was very nice! Our room was super spacious and cool with an awesome view of the trees surrounding the hotel, which made it very romantic

Came to the Varres as at the end of our holiday my wife was admitted to hospital on the day we should have flown home. Moved to Varres Hotel as it is close if not the closest to the hospital

Being a smaller boutique hotel I thought it would just be a few continental options, but the friendly staff offer you a choice of options cooked fresh, which was a nice touch

Note: I would recommend only taking carry on luggage if you stay here because of the economical amount of space available to put belongings. Our booking came with a breakfast

Everything was perfect! Room is cozy, bathroom is well-equiped, the balcony is nice. The pool is very nice and clean. People here are very friendly, helpful and professional. They helped us with any problem we had

Our room (5 people), was absolutely a luxurious one, extremely clean and tidied, pleasant environment and the stuff abided by all covid instructions. The food supplies were quite enough, high quality standards

A good hotel to sleep and near the city center to visit by foot. Our room had a balcony with Sea View. Maybe the rooms need a fresh-up in renovation, but it's not that bad

The Hotel is not far from the city center, where there are several restaurants and bars, and some mini markets, and a stony beach is also a few minutes walk away

The bathroom of our room was really small to keep in mind if you are a big person. After all it was a nice Center of City Zakynthos experience

We always left the dining area stuffed and feeling satisfied. Breakfast by the way is from 7:30 until 10:30, for which you have to pay extra

The bathroom (or at least ours) include both hand towels and shower towels, a package of hand soap, and a tube of shampoo/shower gel

The hotel is very close the centre of Zante town and it's at a very convenient location. The receptionist is a super friendly and helpful person that made us feel very welcome

The amenities in the room could be better, for example there could be a string or something at the balcony where we would be able to hang our wet swimsuits and towels, and the hotel could provide small shampoos and shower gels

Lastly, breakfast was ok but variety from day to day was limited

I've not stayed at the hotel but, iv had food at the resurtant have to say what amazing service they provide, even the owner bless him he sorted us our taxi back to our hotel we was staying at and sat n spoke to us whilst we was at his resturant

Joined two tour program by Dali tour, sunset tour and Shipwreck beach both were really good. Restaurant is also great, lots of sea food and price look reasonable enjoyed really nice days

I had lunch at Dali restaurant, the food was delicious, plus they serve very large portions. The staff were friendly and I sat outside with a nice view of the harbour

We ate in the villa a lot and so we needed a car for the supermarket but we had already planned to hire a car anyway to discover the island. Nikos and Irini our hosts were also amazing

Loved the super comfy giant beanbags and plenty of luxuriously padded sun beds. The location was on the quiet side. Hiring a car I would say is essential
