We spent a lot of time there! Actually we didn't want to leave, the food was very good and pool just perfect. The location was ideal, near the beach (one of the most beautiful), near the port, near Laganas

South Zakinthos beach is only a few minutes away and offers incredibly clear Mediterranean Sea swims with lots of turtles

Room has ample space and beds, air conditioning is extra but worth it when temperatures reach over 35c. Room serviced daily with fresh bedding and towels. Swimming pool is clean and warm

Feeling like we were into a miniature of Zante. The rooms were more like apartments so we were very comfortable. The bar and swimming pool were top

Lovely clean spotless rooms all self catering, the pool clean the food the sold in the bar spot on no complaints at all could not find one

Last but not least all of the staff was super polite and friendly and I mean ALL of them! Not in a way "that's my job I should be polite", they were really caring for us to have a good time, to talk, to help us

Additionally, the rooms are clean and spacious. We booked a sea view room, and the view was fantastic. The hotel’s breakfast was also quite good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Modern clean rooms. Very helpful staff. A short walk to restaurants and attractions. Good WiFi. Parking available which was great. Next to a school but that didn’t impact. Really enjoyed our stay.

Just over the road from a pebbly beach but there are two points on the way into town where you can access the sea for those that like a swim

If it comes to cons, it located in the city center and has the view on sea (on harbor, to be exact) and has a 'roof garden' with a bar and swimming pool. The staff was nice and helpful, especially at the reception

The staff was great and we loved the rooftop pool and bar, although the pool is closed at 7pm. If you prefer to have a beach nearby, maybe this is not the best option for you

Prices are very good, staff is extremely polite and they speak english pretty well. Our room had an incredible view to the port and it was huge

There are no beaches nearby, but there is a bus you can take to discover different beaches and the ticket costs 1. The hotel was clean, with AC in every room and a TV that didn't really work

A good hotel to sleep and near the city center to visit by foot. Our room had a balcony with Sea View. Maybe the rooms need a fresh-up in renovation, but it's not that bad

The Hotel is not far from the city center, where there are several restaurants and bars, and some mini markets, and a stony beach is also a few minutes walk away

The breakfast was delicious and most importantly varied, consisting of several types of bread, jams, butter, meat, cheese, egg, sauces, even baked beans and watermelon and melon slices, and cereal

We always left the dining area stuffed and feeling satisfied. Breakfast by the way is from 7:30 until 10:30, for which you have to pay extra

The bathroom (or at least ours) include both hand towels and shower towels, a package of hand soap, and a tube of shampoo/shower gel

The outside of the Hotel was beautiful with the flowers hanging off the balcony. The receptionists were all really nice and helpful

The room is a little bit small but it’s really well located and you will find a lot of lovely restaurants and shops next to you!! The cleaning service is not great as they just do the bed and they don’t even hover the room! The breakfast is good but there is not a lot of variety as a lot of the hot food is pork based!! The cleaning team was very attentive, and the staff was accommodating. Breakfast was basic but with all the necessary choices! P. I will not forget that the shower's water was salty

Wifi connectivity is not great at least to my room. TV channels are broken dude to low signals. Other than that, the place is great!

Our room was spacious and looked renovated or new. The pools were very good for relaxing time. You can walk to Tsilivi leisure area or drive a few minutes to Zakynthos town. We will visit Petros hotel again!

Perfect just perfect cause the workers were very good and helpful.The pool was very good and it had the metres that you are in too.The rooms were basic but the pillows were hard as a rock.

All the great things you read in the reviews are true. BUT the reason why I don't give 5 stars is: We booked a room with swim-up, not a private one. You can choose between "swim-up heated pool" and "swim-up sundeck"

Wonderful staff that greet you right from the point of arriving. Mariela not only had excellent english but was personal in her service. We were changed to a private plunge pool but in May it was freezing

The reason we booked a swim-up is to use it and enjoy the sun and the view. But we ended with it not using and used the public pool for the whole week. Then you will end up in the rooms on the picture

Would have preferred the one just with the bathtub in the room. Poolside service is great and the breakfast was a standout. Excellent barista and good choice of coffee beans

The only downsize is that, by foot, it will take you at least 30 min down to the beach (even more back, uphill)

The Jewel of zante, if you want a holiday were your treated as a welcomed customer not just a number This is the place to go

She explains you everything: where to go, how to rent etc. The hotel has no beach, but they provide beach towels. (They have umbrellas if you wish to have your "own", ask the reception)

Must be one of the best locations in Europe for an out door wedding! The organisers ( zante weddings I think) were a well oiled team and made sure the day was a success , the theme was beach so the tables were dressed accordingly, after the formal photos the photographer and video chap casually floated around taking what I think will be excellent material , back to the venue , as it was a beach theme...

We arrived at the Balcony Hotel on a saturday, after staying the week before at a appartment in Laganas. Our intentions were to spend the last week of our holiday at a more luxurious hotel than the week before

The room was quite large and the bed was an excellent bed to spend multiple nights in. The bathroom and shower were really nice and there were plenty off supplies to pamper yourself with

The Balcony Hotel exceeded these expectations. The room we booked (225) had a view that was far beyond anything the pictures could portray, but the view from the terrace was as well

The Balcony Restaurant also delivered the best dinners we had the entire 2 weeks we were on the island. However, the most positive aspect of our stay and of this hotel is the staff

The owners are incredibly nice, the localisation is good as it's close to the beach, the rooms themselves are very good-looking, there's a pool here, a garden, you can pay and have delicious breakfast and other meals here

in general, if you're still hesitating whether to pick this hotel or not, please do, you'll be more than satisfied

Nice pool, (a few minutes walk to the local beach - it shelves very gently and for a long way out) Breakfast selection is great - even Greek coffee available

The room was very comfortable and amenities are top notch--the jacuzzi and sauna were very relaxing. Additionally, I tried a beer and Gyro by the pool and it was very tasty

Incessant traffic noise and smog (cars, trucks, pullman, moto, quads). The nice pool is equally plagued. I had to use air conditioning at night to shelter from the noise. Do not stay there without a car or scooter

Possibly the only downside is that my room is a little uphill and has steps up to it. But that downside probably has more to do with my age. In short a wonderful place to stay!!! Highly recommend it

Hotel Zarkadis is a family hotel , placed on a sandy beach and has its own sunbeds. Rooms are well equipped. Its Ideal for families.The cleaning lady does GREAT job! Thanks a lot!

Beautiful place right on the beach we were on ground level apartments big with large veranda every thing u need in there double bed very comfy,the two singles a bit hard Maria and. Roxanne who run it our so nice.

Nice quit place to stay between all the other touristic sites. You feel away from all of that. Private garden and beach on your doorstep. Rooms are decent, simple but fine

Kitchen is small but has what it takes to build a simple meal. Bathroom was fine and everything is clean. If you want to sleep in, I recommend a room upstairs. We slept on the ground floor and it is quite noisy

Cleaning is carried out on request, which suited us perfectly. Not much noise late at night as the main bars are not that close. Big balcony (with the 2 bedroom apartment) which has sea views across to the mainland

Location of the apartment was very convenient for beach, restaurants etc. Apartment was generally well maintained and very clean on arrival

Communication with hosts (both before and during stay) was easy and effective via Booking. Some items on the inventory weren't present when we arrived, but were promptly supplied when requested

The pool area and sunbathing area was lovely - other than the pools being absolutely Baltic! The beach is lovely the ocean is super clean (do take water shoes!) and there are some fab little water sports rentals right next to the beach area

This is a mass tourism hotel with an "All inclusive" system. So you will be eating with a lot of people at the same time, crowded beach, crowded restaurant with average food, so make sure that this is what you want

TUI are running a militant operation - great if that’s what you are looking for. I was pleasantly surprised how they are not on you all the time but there enough to allow you to go to them

First time staying at this hotel. The location is awesome right in the beach. Breakfast was really good and ate looking over the sea. The rooms are very comfortable and clean

We just came back with our family from Iakinthos. I want to give 10/10 to the Hotel, but I can’t and am giving 8/10 and will tell exactly way

The sun-loungers were very comfortable, with parasols provided. We stayed B&B and breakfast, which was served overlooking the sea, had lots of choices and the food was excellent, with many home-made items

It was kept very clean and a litre of mineral water was provided every day. The location right on the beach was excellent for daytime but did lead to some noisy nights from merry-makers

Last year they also served diner which I must admit was excellent, tasty and varied. - view 10/10 - location 10/10 - air conditioning FREE - sunbeds paid 4 euros/day/person but worth it

When you come to the seaside, then make sure you can see, enjoy and feel the sea. The sunbeds on the grass, neat the hotel and the pool, were free and were 5m away from the sea

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and the rest of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The location is also great for those who are not looking for a party, the beach is beautiful and not overcrowded

This hotel was great, we stayed for a long weekend and had a wonderful time during our stay. We had a sea view room and it was spectacular, we fell asleep to the waves every night

Since we were in the beginning of the season we had perfect weather and more than enough space. It is also only 10-15 minutes from the airport and taxi is ~€20

- rooms extremely clean - staff extremely kind, helpful and they make you feel at home - this year only breakfast was served, which was good as any breakfast at any hotel in the world

The pool is perfect temperature, the area is perfect (1 block from everything) for taking tours, many different food choices, moped rentals, night life, private beach, fully stocked bar, great in hotel restaurant with a lot of variety

The pool is in the shade most of the day so it's super cold. The location was nice as it is on the seafront, however the tall wall balcony made it impossible to enjoy the view when seated on the balcony

The rates for a sunbed and umbrella were high (8€) and we were rarely given a receipt unless we asked for it. The waiters at the Sea Sky restaurant were exceptionally polite though

The hotel feels like semi-deserted though as it's always empty of staff, air-condition is off in the (abandoned) reception and the rest of the common areas and there is a smell of mold in the air
