Hotels on first line in Zakynthos Town

I regret not bringing running equipment, otherwise it would be great to go out for a run along the town and the beach in the morning

It is right in the center of Zakynthos Town. I booked a sea view room and watched the sunrise directly from the balcony

The receptionists were helpful and enthusiastic when we asked for a taxi to the airport after checking out. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The room was average and the facilities were quite old, but the location offset many of the shortcomings. There are also many restaurants around the hotel, and it is very relaxing to go out for a walk

The location is definitely good, and the front desk is quite polite. But the facilities are a bit old. The air conditioner is facing the TV, and it won't turn on if you don't close the door

You still have to use your own shower gel and shampoo, but I didn't use them despite looking at the facilities

We spent a lot of time there! Actually we didn't want to leave, the food was very good and pool just perfect. The location was ideal, near the beach (one of the most beautiful), near the port, near Laganas

South Zakinthos beach is only a few minutes away and offers incredibly clear Mediterranean Sea swims with lots of turtles

Room has ample space and beds, air conditioning is extra but worth it when temperatures reach over 35c. Room serviced daily with fresh bedding and towels. Swimming pool is clean and warm

Feeling like we were into a miniature of Zante. The rooms were more like apartments so we were very comfortable. The bar and swimming pool were top

Lovely clean spotless rooms all self catering, the pool clean the food the sold in the bar spot on no complaints at all could not find one

Just over the road from a pebbly beach but there are two points on the way into town where you can access the sea for those that like a swim

The sea view room you booked can see the sea. Across the road from the hotel is a long beach coastline. The tap water on this island is too salty to even rinse your mouth

It is a pretty good hotel that can be booked in the off-season. The room is not too big, there is free parking, it faces the sea, it is not far from the port and the airport, and the breakfast is also rich.

Additionally, the rooms are clean and spacious. We booked a sea view room, and the view was fantastic. The hotel’s breakfast was also quite good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Managed my group of 28 very professionally. Rented rooms for a birthday and had many day trips based from their lobby haha. Planned a 40 person dinner on their beautiful terrace in the Solomon’s square

A good hotel to sleep and near the city center to visit by foot. Our room had a balcony with Sea View. Maybe the rooms need a fresh-up in renovation, but it's not that bad

The outside of the Hotel was beautiful with the flowers hanging off the balcony. The receptionists were all really nice and helpful

The rooms (not deluxe) were pretty basic, but they served as a base perfectly, where you go only to sleep and shower

There is an elevator in the hotel which makes it really easy to move your luggage or get to your room quickly

The amount of these things varies based on how many people will stay in the room (if you go in pairs, it doubles). It also has a very old and kinda broken, but still working hairdryer

Overall if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel close to all of the amenities, then I would definitely recommend Yria Hotel and if I come back this is where I’ll be looking to stay

I was lucky to get such a nice room, at the end of the summer season. Slept like a rose. Very clean, nicely renovated room.

The place was amazing! The staff was so friendly and attentive to our needs, they went above and beyond to make our stay as happy as possible, and they even helped my boyfriend organize a surprise for me

Wifi connectivity is not great at least to my room. TV channels are broken dude to low signals. Other than that, the place is great!

Our room was spacious and looked renovated or new. The pools were very good for relaxing time. You can walk to Tsilivi leisure area or drive a few minutes to Zakynthos town. We will visit Petros hotel again!

Perfect just perfect cause the workers were very good and helpful.The pool was very good and it had the metres that you are in too.The rooms were basic but the pillows were hard as a rock.

Lovely little hotel. Nice pool with a smaller one out the back for the very young children. The breakfast is rather poor quality though. Staff extremely friendly.

I would recommend a massage - we were taken to the sister hotel and it was amazing! The main pool area doesn't have lots of beds but we didn't find it too much of an issue and the pool was heated so no need to brace before you dip your toes in! Location wise, 20 minutes from the airport and located on a bit of a hill - it is walkable but not if you have mobility issues

Absolutely wonderful stay! Got upgrades to private pool! Every staff was kind and helpful and they knew my room number and my face before I spoke to them! Breakfast was amazing and service was amazing! Very quiet place if you want no disturbances! Would definitely stay here if I go to Zante again!

Having said that, there is a buggy service which we used a couple of times when we weren't feeling very energetic & it drops you off at the bottom of the hill where you'll find a good amount of bars and restaurants, nothing too hectic

Excellent service would definitely recommend and will be coming back again. The facial treatment was amazing perfect way to relax. Helen was so professional and friendly and prioritised me as a customer

She explains you everything: where to go, how to rent etc. The hotel has no beach, but they provide beach towels. (They have umbrellas if you wish to have your "own", ask the reception)

Everything about this hotel was amazing. The staff, every one of them, Demitri, Katarina, gosh we love all of them. Very close to the beach, food was great

We arrived at the Balcony Hotel on a saturday, after staying the week before at a appartment in Laganas. Our intentions were to spend the last week of our holiday at a more luxurious hotel than the week before

The only thing is would have wanted extra during our stay would have been access to a gym and pool, but i also belive the aim is not to be the kind of hotel that would have a gym or pool, so it's a small coplaint

The Balcony Hotel exceeded these expectations. The room we booked (225) had a view that was far beyond anything the pictures could portray, but the view from the terrace was as well

The room was quite large and the bed was an excellent bed to spend multiple nights in. The bathroom and shower were really nice and there were plenty off supplies to pamper yourself with

The owners are incredibly nice, the localisation is good as it's close to the beach, the rooms themselves are very good-looking, there's a pool here, a garden, you can pay and have delicious breakfast and other meals here

The room was very comfortable and amenities are top notch--the jacuzzi and sauna were very relaxing. Additionally, I tried a beer and Gyro by the pool and it was very tasty

in general, if you're still hesitating whether to pick this hotel or not, please do, you'll be more than satisfied

Nice pool, (a few minutes walk to the local beach - it shelves very gently and for a long way out) Breakfast selection is great - even Greek coffee available

Incessant traffic noise and smog (cars, trucks, pullman, moto, quads). The nice pool is equally plagued. I had to use air conditioning at night to shelter from the noise. Do not stay there without a car or scooter

Possibly the only downside is that my room is a little uphill and has steps up to it. But that downside probably has more to do with my age. In short a wonderful place to stay!!! Highly recommend it

Hotel Zarkadis is a family hotel , placed on a sandy beach and has its own sunbeds. Rooms are well equipped. Its Ideal for families.The cleaning lady does GREAT job! Thanks a lot!

Beautiful place right on the beach we were on ground level apartments big with large veranda every thing u need in there double bed very comfy,the two singles a bit hard Maria and. Roxanne who run it our so nice.

Amazing staff by far the standout part of the hotel. Room clean and tidy we got swim up room, was next to hedge and road which we wasn’t expecting but was fine

We went to the bar a few times to get our own drinks and the barman at the beach house gets angry and quite rude and tells you to go back to your bed and the waiter will bring it over (this can take another 30 mins)

Other than that an excellent experience made by the staff in a clean tidy hotel. Not 5 star like a Uk hotel but not Uk hotel prices so not a problem!!! We would certainly stay here again if we were in the area

Bar Service Pros - Drinks are lovely Cons - drinks are great, it’s getting one that’s the issue. It’s a waiter service but not enough staff. We spent 4/7 days at the beach and only got a drink twice on each day

The doors to the balcony have sliding glass doors, these were open all the time we went away early May and the sound of the sea lapping the beach was beautiful at night

Our rooms were ready within the hour. Both of our rooms were good, great views and good size. Our room was like a penthouse, Balcony was massive, and we were overlooking the beach and sea

Very good food, but THE BEST was Mrs Małgorzata. Small island, warm, lovely beach. Sea clean, nice trip during our stay. Food amazing, plenty diffrent disches

I should have realized that being part of the Blue resort it would be similar to the one we stayed in Majorca and had I of realised before booking wouldn’t have booked! You get towels for the pool at 5€ deposit for the week, you can change them between 9-3

Last year they also served diner which I must admit was excellent, tasty and varied. - view 10/10 - location 10/10 - air conditioning FREE - sunbeds paid 4 euros/day/person but worth it

When you come to the seaside, then make sure you can see, enjoy and feel the sea. The sunbeds on the grass, neat the hotel and the pool, were free and were 5m away from the sea

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and the rest of the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The location is also great for those who are not looking for a party, the beach is beautiful and not overcrowded

This hotel was great, we stayed for a long weekend and had a wonderful time during our stay. We had a sea view room and it was spectacular, we fell asleep to the waves every night

Since we were in the beginning of the season we had perfect weather and more than enough space. It is also only 10-15 minutes from the airport and taxi is ~€20

The pool is perfect temperature, the area is perfect (1 block from everything) for taking tours, many different food choices, moped rentals, night life, private beach, fully stocked bar, great in hotel restaurant with a lot of variety

The pool is in the shade most of the day so it's super cold. The location was nice as it is on the seafront, however the tall wall balcony made it impossible to enjoy the view when seated on the balcony

The rates for a sunbed and umbrella were high (8€) and we were rarely given a receipt unless we asked for it. The waiters at the Sea Sky restaurant were exceptionally polite though

The first time was the day after we arrived in the resort of Argassi and although there weren't many pubs and restaurants open as the beginning of the season, we were happy to rest and drink at the Castello

Service with a smile from Georges and just sitting by the edge of sea and drinking a lovely cold beer was bliss. Listening to the waves lapping with not a care in the world. NOW that means a great holiday

Wish we had gone at night too as watching the stars in the sky whilst looking out to sea would have made for a romantic evening. However we had two romantic and relaxing day visits

Athough all incusive in a nearby hotel we always like to venture out but not too far and we did discover the Castello Beach Bar. The location in itself gives it the 4 stars above

We had 2 meals here and on one day hired 2 loungers and an umbrella from them. It is ideally situated, right on the beach and the water is shallow enough to paddle out then swim

The hotel has busy and quiet areas for you to choose from. 2 pools and 3 bars (opening times vary). I had a basic room which was clean and comfortable, but that's about it

Had a lovely stay at Diana Palace. Hotel was very clean and in a great location with plenty to do in the daytime. Food was outstanding with such great variation each day making the all inclusive even more great value

Just love the hotel on a whole - I would highly recommend coming here- many of the people we have spoken to have stayed many times before - one person over 15 times (say no more) we will definitely be returning - 🙂

This man helps himself to around 6 eggs and a kilo of tomatoes every morning and then has the cheek to complain about having no feta cheese?! Anyone with common sense knows you don’t have feta cheese at breakfast time! I can’t recommend this hotel enough, so beautiful and relaxing!

All the family work very hard and are very friendly who want the guests to have the best time ever. The food is excellent and a great choice for breakfast

A polish man staying here complained about having no feta cheese for breakfast, well sorry but feta cheese is for lunch or evening meal with salad
