Where to stay in Zakynthos Town

I made a 100% right choice booking this hotel when staying in town. Look at the view from the balcony 🥹

Convenient location, great service. I like that they provided slippers and bathrobes. Their breakfast buffet provided many food choices. The receptionists were helpful and enthusiastic when we asked for a taxi to the airport after checking out. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The location is excellent. It is right in the center of Zakynthos Town. I booked a sea view room and watched the sunrise directly from the balcony. The view was superb. The room was average and the facilities were quite old, but the location offset many of the shortcomings. There are also many restaurants around the hotel, and it is very relaxing to go out for a walk. I regret not bringing running...

The location is definitely good, and the front desk is quite polite. But the facilities are a bit old. The air conditioner is facing the TV, and it won't turn on if you don't close the door. You still have to use your own shower gel and shampoo, but I didn't use them despite looking at the facilities.

The staff was friendly and the food was delicious.

Had a great stay here, was only one night but would definitely stay again. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the location is excellent. We had an amazing stay! Everyone is very friendly, the breakfast is delicious and the rooms are very clean and comfortable! Restaurants and bars are walking distance and the parking is also a great addition!

Incredible hotel! I recommend it 100%. I came with my husband for a week to discover the island and our stay in Bitzaro Hotel was more than perfect! Pretty views! Some people said in reviews that they could hear planes taking off and landing but I didn’t hear any! It was such a nice hotel lovely and in a quiet area, felt pretty safe and out of the way. This area of Zakynthos felt less touristy so it was nice! The staff at the reception is incredibly helpful, friendly and constructive, the rooms are clean, there is a balcony and everything you want in the room, A hearty buffet, a pleasant breakfast, free egg options, friendly staff, there is free parking and it is right in the center of the city, I recommend it.

Lovely hotel in brilliant location with super friendly staff. Rooftop bar and pool excellent - shout out to Takis, good bloke. Excellent and wide ranging breakfast choices. Cleaning staff and reception also great. My room faced inward so balcony rather irrelevant. The extract fans for five or six air con units pumped into the space so inadvisable to have the window open. Otherwise a great stay.

We have visited many Greek islands but Zakynthos is one of the best! Diana Hotel is a great hotel with even greater people! Mornings were something we looked forward to! The breakfast had great variety and everything tasted fresh. The staff were always smiling and helped us with anything we needed. Felt really at home.

What an amazing Hotel! Our room had that charming local Zakynthian style, but everything was modern and newly renovated. The highlight, though, was the rooftop pool—amazing views and a super relaxing vibe. What stood out most was how clean everything was—our room, the lobby, even the pool area. We loved staying at Diana Hotel! The location was perfect==right in the heart of town but still peaceful, the staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. You can tell they care about their guests. Would 100% come back.

Disappointing. Rooms although ok in size and bathroom with a closed shower (yay! Not flooding the bathroom) were not spotlessly clean, and the furniture is old. Gym was in a poor state: tiny room with ancient equipment that didn’t even work properly, dust everywhere. Breakfast was reasonable. Staff were friendly in general.

Had a quick weekend at Sofias hotel in august. Athena is a great host, helpful and friendly. They served a nice variety of food and refreshing juices. The hotel is very close the centre of Zante town and it's at a very convenient location. The receptionist is a super friendly and helpful person that made us feel very welcome. The amenities in the room could be better, for example there could be a string or something at the balcony where we would be able to hang our wet swimsuits and towels, and the hotel could provide small shampoos and shower gels...

Spacious and bright room, great location

The room is quite big. The sea view room you booked can see the sea. Across the road from the hotel is a long beach coastline. The tap water on this island is too salty to even rinse your mouth. The driver who picked me up at the airport said that you must not drink the tap water, even if it is boiled, and the hotel does not provide free drinking water.

It is a pretty good hotel that can be booked in the off-season. The room is not too big, there is free parking, it faces the sea, it is not far from the port and the airport, and the breakfast is also rich.

Very happy we stayed here, good location only a few minutes from town. All staff very friendly and professional. The best breakfast we had in our 2 week trip. Just over the road from a pebbly beach but there are two points on the way into town where you can access the sea for those that like a swim. A good choice

The hotel is not next to the beach, but this is not an issue! You can have a transfer from there to any place that you want to visit. People who work there are amazing! Service is great! Came to the Varres as at the end of our holiday my wife was admitted to hospital on the day we should have flown home. Moved to Varres Hotel as it is close if not the closest to the hospital. All the staff were brilliant and their shuttle service spot on , can’t fault the hotel or staff, and when we are back in Zakynthos will head for the Varres rather then a beach all inclusive hotel .

Excellent place! If you are in Zante for a quiet and peaceful vacation - Varres is a great place for that. Rooms are cosy, the pool is ultra clean and the staff is just perfect. 30 minutes to the port by foot, or 7-8 mins with a car. Shuttles were available for anywhere on the island. Hotel restaurant is just what you need for a cosy evening - food was great! Can’t wait for the next visit!

A nice hotel. The rooms were neat and well cared for, though the atmosphere felt a bit lacking (with one of the lamps it had a bit of an aquarium vibe, but that was mostly just funny). The pool was nice and clean. The breakfast was absolutely stunning: lots of choice, tasty and with nice staff. Recommend if you're going for a good hotel, rather than a cute or lively one.

Well renovated. Great staff. Managed my group of 28 very professionally. Rented rooms for a birthday and had many day trips based from their lobby haha. Planned a 40 person dinner on their beautiful terrace in the Solomon’s square. Was super nice with good service.

Spent a fabulous week here. The staff are so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely, with two balconies! Food in the restaurant was very good and reasonable. The Room's have are average and for some reason they don't give you a shampoo for your shower and the toilets has a weird design that haven't seen in any other hotel. The pool a very nice addition. A good hotel to sleep and near the city center to visit by foot. We had a relly good matress. Our room had a balcony with Sea View. Maybe the rooms need a fresh-up in renovation, but it's not that bad. The bathroom of our room was really small to keep in mind if you are a big person.
