Best Hotels in Zakynthos Town

Very happy we stayed here, good location only a few minutes from town. All staff very friendly and professional. The best breakfast we had in our 2 week trip

The hotel was amazing, honestly the best vacation we ever had! The room was very well equipped and maintained- also very clean. The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable providing us with great service

Additionally, the rooms are clean and spacious. We booked a sea view room, and the view was fantastic. The hotel’s breakfast was also quite good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful

However the hotel itself is close to Solomos square, that has an entrance to the port, and a bus station to Tsilivi (and tourist "train" to Kalamaki), that has that wonderful, sandy greek beach

stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a great experience. First of all, it’s located in the city center, which is very convenient. The price is very reasonable for Zakynthos Island

I have really enjoyed my 7-day stay here, everything was great! The staff was really nice and helpful, the food was fresh and delicious, and the rooms were kept clean

The breakfast buffet is quite good, and they keep topping up the hot food throughout the morning. Room was clean, and the view from the balcony was stunning. Location is also absolutely fantastic

The room was good, with great air-con and all the facilities. It's on old building to sounds travels so that may be the only tiny thing. but I would definitely go back!

Diana hotel is a small but cozy hotel, situated at a very nice square. The rooms are small and noisy, but are cleaned very good

Also to be able to step ten paces outside the front door of the hotel into one of the main squares in Zante Old Town where all of the bars and restaurants are is wonderful

My family and I highly recommend the amazing Hotel Varres! All of the staff were extremely friendly and polite - they helped us with a couple of restaurant recommendations (which were excellent) and spots to visit along the coastline and in the city centre

Excellent place! If you are in Zante for a quiet and peaceful vacation - Varres is a great place for that. Rooms are cosy, the pool is ultra clean and the staff is just perfect

The place enforces all the measures against COVID-19 and even more strictly when serving breakfast! Excellent breakfast options with multilingual staff ready to help you at any time! All areas in the hotel were very clean - the rooms got cleaned daily and the pool area was very nice! Our room was super spacious and cool with an awesome view of the trees surrounding the hotel, which made it very romantic

People who work there are amazing! Service is great! We used the transfer to go to the beach and the girl who brought us there was lovely! Thank you very much for the great time! The view was breathtaking!Recommend it! ☀️

Came to the Varres as at the end of our holiday my wife was admitted to hospital on the day we should have flown home. Moved to Varres Hotel as it is close if not the closest to the hospital

The room is a little bit small but it’s really well located and you will find a lot of lovely restaurants and shops next to you!! The cleaning service is not great as they just do the bed and they don’t even hover the room! The breakfast is good but there is not a lot of variety as a lot of the hot food is pork based!! But I recommend this hotel if you are visiting zante for the first time!! The location...

Beautiful modern hotel with an own restaurant where breakfast is served but also lunch and dinner can be eaten. The rooms are small but charming with A/C and a TV. Our room had a balcony with a stunning view at the sea

The cleaning staff were very good, and our room was always done to a high standard, as were the immaculately clean public areas of the hotel. Reception staff were friendly and helpful

In the morning when woke up there was a service going on in the church a street over and I could hear the congregation singing! So beautiful! The breakfast was a buffet, I’m vegan and there was plenty of choice for me ranging from fresh fruit and cereal

Being a smaller boutique hotel I thought it would just be a few continental options, but the friendly staff offer you a choice of options cooked fresh, which was a nice touch

Note: I would recommend only taking carry on luggage if you stay here because of the economical amount of space available to put belongings. Our booking came with a breakfast

All of which are taking up by towels at the crack of dawn. Lastly, no need for an alarm. There are a few roosters out back. They are pretty good for a 06

Staff are amazing at this hotel, nothing is too much trouble. Greek hospitality at its finest. No sunbed wars and a chilled pool area. Great for families. We are having a great time and will return 😊

We were all inclusive and throughout the week the food was excellent, with great variety, many items cooked to order and all beautifully presented

Lovely hotel we stayed for 10 nights,maid service everyday we were all inclusive and food was lovely never that busy in restaurant, breakfast was great and had a choice of everything, staff lovely and friendly, great location close to all amenities and beach but just tucked up little Rd so nice and quiet at night

We had a lovely family room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers with a balcony overlooking the pool. The air conditioning was really welcome, the bathroom was newly refurbished, and the fridge was very useful

The owners are incredibly nice, the localisation is good as it's close to the beach, the rooms themselves are very good-looking, there's a pool here, a garden, you can pay and have delicious breakfast and other meals here

Possibly the only downside is that my room is a little uphill and has steps up to it. But that downside probably has more to do with my age. In short a wonderful place to stay!!! Highly recommend it

Nice pool, (a few minutes walk to the local beach - it shelves very gently and for a long way out) Breakfast selection is great - even Greek coffee available

My room (for one) is huge, two double beds, a sofa (bed?), shower room and a kitchenette - fully equipped

The room itself was amazing - very spacious, lovely big shower room and nice comfy bed. Good air con and fridge (no extra cost)

There are plenty of places to eat and drink a short walk from the hotel. All in all this is a good value for money hotel

Great hotel with fantastic, friendly staff, had to pay extra for air con, along with a small venue/tourist tax which we did not appreciate, though the blame could be put on our tour operator for giving the impression that such things were included

My wife and I stayed here in July 2020 and we couldn’t in anyway fault this place . Friendly staff that went out their way to help . We are waiting for things to get a little better so we can rebook . 5 stars

The balconies and ground floor terraces are quite small but have a table and 2 chairs. Air conditioning and a room safe are available at a charge. Choice at breakfast was fairly limited but all was edible

The young guy who looks after the dining area at breakfast service deserves particular mention - even at the end of a long season of very long days, he was doing a fantastic job with a smile

Overall a lovely, clean hotel with very modern rooms. Breakfast is basic but does the job for a hot day. The pool bar is excellent with tasty food and a good range of cold drinks. The pool is clean with plenty of sunbeds

Very good place where to stay in Argassi. The swimming pool and the bar are super nice. Moreover, it's located in a very strategic place and you have a discount with Apollo Restaurant. The owners are very kind 🥰

Nikos is a nice owner and really friendly. Rooms are clean and the staff do their best to help the guest. Apollo apartment it is a walking distance from the beach and to the center of Argassi

Awesome hotel with awesome management. In the room everything was clean. There is an awesome pool in the middle of the property. Hotel has a restaurant in the front with a variety of different Greek foods

2nd time was disappointed. Room was loud due to pool cleaning machine beside the room. Pool wasn’t family friendly due to ignorant smokers. Restaurant was excellent. Food was better than 1st time.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at the Ionian Hill Hotel in Zakynthos! The views of the Ionian Sea were stunning, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The service was excellent, and the rooms were spotless

They had a lot of parking space (btw, you really need a car in Zakynthos). Pool area was very nice and clean and they gave us other towels for staying at the pool
