I stayed at this accommodation on two occasions. The place is very beautiful and, in my opinion, it has a slightly vintage style, which is why I liked it so much. The staff is kind, and the room was clean. There is also a spa available, which is relatively large. The only thing that I think could be improved is having a wider breakfast selection. Of course, I understand that this is a smaller hotel...

Today, October 9, 2021, I had the opportunity to dine there. Delicious food, kind and excellent service, during this time there were 3 groups or arrived. The Lord Attendant was right because he pointed out that the service charge was 10%. He did not accept tips, so I deliberately put the "real thing" in the right back pocket of my jeans.

Very delicious and plentiful food. Oh, and the soup was finally so hot that it didn't get cold at the end.

The hotel has a bad smell due to humidity on the 2nd floor due to some guest installing clothesline along the corridor in front of the rooms. I had a clogged sink in my room and there is no support to place the body wash, so when taking a shower you have to place the body wash on the floor. This hotel definitelly is so far away of being a 4 star.

The elevators are very slow especially during dinner and breakfast time. We got floor towels instead of normal big towels. the receptionist said they will send us towels but they didn't. I stayed for 4 nights for work. The hotel staff barely speaks English (except at the front desk). The room is poorly maintained; there was no one available to make me tea or coffee. Housekeeping was the worst experience. They only cleaned my room twice, and on one of those occasions, they cleaned the room but not the bathroom! Unexplainable! I had to go out and get towels after a long day at work....

Great location and the redesign was done beautifully. Only thing lacking is the food. I felt like they could use more waiters at times and the food tasted cheap and spiceless.

Exactly what you would expect, the staff were open to solve our difficulties regarding booking on the spot.

Stayed here in Summer 2019 and it was glorious. The mini houses were fun and well air-conditioned. 10 minute walk from the beach. Tennis courts which were good for my husband and kids to practise on. The only problem was the owner accused my children first about a leak in the paddling pool instead of the young girls near by, when my boys were completely innocent. Kids want to come back.

Ok room with some problems such as broken shower door and bad WiFi, okay breakfast, the waiter doesn’t know English, too much shower gel and now shampoo.

After 7 years we returned to this hotel with zero expectations and we’re really surprised how everything improved here. The rooms were refurnished and modernized, everything was new, great beds and facilities. The stuff was very nice and helpful, especially in the beach bar and the food was great. have had a 3 days getaway with my family, overall was a good experience especially the food court. The main chief was very polite and did well the job there were a wide range of tasty foods, although the rooms could have been more modern just because the furnitures looked like middle of 20th century and it's involved to the bathroom either.

Great hotel, right at the Balaton, like literally, you just have to step out of the building. Spacious, good atmosphere, elegant design. I/we only stayed here for one night. The hotel is roomy, clean and minimalistic. It's design is actually quite cool in some respects. The room is spacious with plenty of room for two, with the added bonus of a balcony. There's plenty of parking around the side and it's in a reasonably good location. Friendly staff and clean rooms. The only negative area is the food. We spent there 4 days but the breakfast was the same every morning. The dinner was decent. This is why I gave only 4 stars instead of 5.

A very nice hotel to go with the family. Have an hour from Epleny ski resort, it's a great place to sleep after a ski day. You get a free entrance to the swimming pools and spa, that are really nice. Dinner and breakfast are ok and the hotel is comfortable

This hotel is surprisingly super great both for adults and kids. The staff is extremely friendly, food is excellent, and the venue at the beach has also an amazing atmosphere and view. Very strong 4/5 here I only advise you to come if you have children. Upon arrival the staff was exceptionally nice and very welcoming. The entire bottom floor/lobby/kids play area/ dining is all 5/5 new and very top tier. The rooms definitely are on the older side. They are very manageable but bathrooms are tighter and the overall cleanliness just wasn't there. Lots of hair in our room in carpets...

Spent a couple of days at the hotel that was designated a family weekend, primarily for children. Very enjoyable and a nice atmosphere in the hotel. One moan that our party did not appreciate. There was a company event taking place in the hotel that meant the lake side bar was closed to guests not part of this company event - quite poor in my opinion when you are a full paying hotel guest but a facility...

We were on the free beach in Kenyes. The time and the water were excellent. You can get a delicious flame in the buffet, but you can also have ice cream. We had a lot of fun.

Best Balaton town, closest to Budapest

Once you find it, the property is located right next to the lake. There is a good bar and restaurant which has been recently renovated. We like the room for our family and we would come again.

I got the hugest schnitzel I ever saw in the restaurant. It was good too. There is a direct access to the lake, although the beach itself is rather small. The hotel is located at a closed, private territory, which is good.

The curtains were dirty and torn. Overall design a little dated. Pool was unacceptable conditions (moldy). We did have a sauna in the room which is a nice touch. We arrived at 5 and to room was not done yet. Nevertheless we choose to have a good time. Location is amazing.

Nice place with a nice view. Only problem is with the little parking space and the wellness which closes at 19:00, so if you expect to relax after all day on water you will be quite upset with its early closure. Waitress was very kind.

It was my 1st time to visit Club Tihany Bungalows. Location is really good, staff is nice, breakfast is tasty. The only thing I am not happy with that the bungalow did not seem perfectly cleaned which is really important specially during the covid. Also cobwebs must be removed. Anyway I am giving 5 * will be going back deffo

It is a good place for families. Good conditions of living. Air conditioning in every room, cleaning services on high level and cooking services as well-they were very helpful.

The hotel location is great, the garden is very, spacious, it has an own beach with sunbeds. There are kid club, playground, football, basketball court and outside kid's pool with slide. Pleasant large rooms, if you book the superior class with lake view, balcony (on which smoking is not allowed) and air condition in the main hotel building. Perfectly lovely stay. Probably not as upmarket as the website makes out - a lot of the facilities feel like they haven’t been updated in 20 years or so. But all perfectly usable and clean, and staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful (and almost all spoke perfect English, and which was a pleasant surprise). Food options were good, with standard basics each evening but also more local specialties...

We love the location, Watching the sale boats go by was a very special treat! The room and accommodations were very nice and the staff was very helpful. The only complaint was that the air conditioner did not cool the room enough, so we had to open the door, and the light woke us up very early in the morning. I would suggest curtains which block the light so that the guests can sleep late.

Located close to the lake Balaton at Sió canal. Food and rooms I’d consider it as average. The indoor pool is good also the water temperature is ok. However the roof terrace of the pool is quite dirty.

Great breakfast on the terrace overlooking Lake Balaton, cleanliness, very nice staff. Large enclosed garden, perfect for everything from sports to smoking. In bad weather in the building ping-pong, rex, table football. It is also a perfect choice for couples and families.

Nice rooms, great breakfast. Rooms have A/C, good, fast WiFi, TV with Netflix and YouTube. Good for people who want to go windsurfing surfing as they have racks for surfboards. Is also very close to the beach, which has decent access for windsurfers.

The rooms were very clean and beautifully presented. The receptionist and the crew are all very kind and helpful people. The air condition is a big plus and the best is, that the beach is also very close to the hotel. You have also a big variety when it comes to the breakfast. 5 stars! Anytime again ☺️

Was a business trip for us and the staff was very polite. All the meals were very good, or room was big and the bathroom huge. Still under construction so it was cheaper. Quite big parking area, good for congress or events. I haven’t seen the wellness are bec I was working, maybe next time.

I was really surprised to read all the bad reviews for this hotel. We were staying for 2 nights and had a great experience. BF was ok, standard, but dinner was amazing. A beautiful hotel in the beautiful surroundings of Lake Balaton. The rooms are clean and tastefully furnished, the equipment of the rooms is at a sufficient level. The hotel itself offers a number of side activities as well as relaxation opportunities. The hotel staff is very nice, but not all of them can communicate fluently in english.
