I should say BIG THANK YOU to NH Hotel Budapest. I lost my Iphone 15 promax, but they found it in the breakfast table where I was eating. I was so clumsy with my item, but I appreciated so much for the hotel and staff support to keep it safe and handed to me.
The front office staff were also very patient and caring when I requested support to print out few documents. Such a BIG HELP!!

Ok hotel, but staff not at all accomodating when I needed a secluded place for a meeting after checkout. Claimed all rooms and conference rooms were booked. Could see for myself that at least two conference rooms were locked with no participants and it was still possible to make reservations for a regular room on the web site ☹️

[Jun-2023] Hotel well located at the center of the city. The room was spacious and clean, although a bit outdated. The breakfast was great with a variety of food. I liked very much the attention they made when checking out of the hotel. Since my flight was during the night, I asked if they could make something to eat, and they did. That was nice 👍

Stayed at the NH Budapest City hotel. Had bed bugs, which was confirmed onsite by their head of housekeeping. The hotel offered a full refund, which was never received. I have emailed the hotel several times, but not received a response.
The hotel also wouldn’t pay for medication costs incurred as a direct consequence of their bed bugs. They also wouldn’t compensate for clothes that needed to be purchased as a direct consequence of the bed bugs.
The whole experience with this hotel has been ridiculously disappointing and wouldn’t advise anyone to stay here

We had two rooms (516 and 518) booked under the same booking. The room with bed bugs (518) (our friends room) was ready upon arrival and the second room was still being cleaned. As such my partner had laid in the bed with the bed bugs whilst we waited for our room to be made ready and our luggage had been on the bed. The hotel refused to refund the whole booking fee, just for room 518 which had the bed bugs was refunded. I have now travelled home and I am hoping there are no bed bugs in our luggage and we have brought them home with us.
The reception staff were wonderful, the manager (who wasn’t working at the weekend apparently) was less than apologetic, even refused to refund the taxi I had to take to the airport in order to take our flight as our friend who had been bitten multiple times had to go to the pharmacy and couldn’t drive to the airport.
We shall be taking this higher than the less than caring manager.
If I could give it half a star, I would. Had bed bugs, very hard mattress with springs protruding to the point of having marks left on my body from them. Staff were relatively nice but NH hotels should be embarrassed to have this hotel in their chain!

Hotel is fine for the facilities and location and overall courtesy etc. What was a disappointment was that they didn't replenish water in the room after the first one and one had to buy water. I took 2 bottles from the bat below thinking I'm just replenishing..but they charged me for it on check out. And they weren't at all willing (atleast to me) for a late check-out. I didn't ask for hours but 30 mins tops. And yes sir they did have rooms available still they didn't allow a little grace for a corporate visitor who will come again.. but not to this hotel now for sure.

The hotel was a bit away from the center so it took at least 30min to walk, which is sometimes not doable. Also the room was outdated and dust. Wallpaper and plinth were coming off. It was just a bit too expensive for the quality you got. The first dew days the airconditioning wasnt working either and it was very stuffy. Also the entrance smelled like sweat. The staff was however nice and gave us some advice about visiting Budapest.

The hotel is in a great location. It’s rated as a 4-star hotel, but I don’t see how. It’s somewhat dated. Maybe when it was first opened it was 4-star. The bartender service was terrible. Breakfast buffet was good.
For the bedroom, good size. Nice that it had a balcony. Disgusting that the bathroom wasn’t clean (women’s hair on the floor for example).
Definitely expect more from NH.

Great location just behind the City Theatre . Big hotel, specious rooms, delicious breakfast !
Different means of transport available when you go out from the hotel. But also you can do everything on foot, walking down beautiful streets of Budapest !
