A luxury hotel built and decorated in the style of an Oriental Palace, located on the shore of the Gulf of Eilat red sea. The hotel is part of complex of three hotels, Herods Palace, Herods Vitalis and Herods Boutique.

Location: Eilat, 60 km from the international airport of Ovda.
The hotel has 300 rooms.
Consists of one building.
Beach: public sandy-pebble beach is 50 m from the hotel, the first coastal line. Umbrellas, chairs and beach towels.

One of my favorite stays. The hotel is a little old, needs some renovations but nonetheless was a wonderful stay. The rooms were very clean, quiet, well stocked and a great view! The food is incredible, the service in the dining hall is amazing and very welcoming people there. The location is also wonderful and a very relaxed atmosphere.

Hotel Herods Palace is excellent!!!! Super!!! The best hotel!!!! The pool and the view from the balcony are a dream!!! Thank you to all the restaurant and chefs! Great!

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and the second time the hotel leaves only pleasant impressions. We were in Herods Palace, 6th floor, standard room, wonderful view from the window, daily room service, clean and large pools, delicious food in the restaurant. The hotel has its own beach with sun loungers and umbrellas.

A magical stay made even greater thanks to the staff who want you to have a great holiday, we stayed for shabbat in the boutique , the room was spacious and had a great view to our surprise we were left with some gifts waiting for us in the room (wine, popcorn, chocolat and a plate of fruite) which was really kind of them to do ,the food on friday night was superb, and the breakfast had everything you could think of .

During July we had great and wonderful experience when we arrived to the Herods hotel. The facility and room was amazing , you feel you stay at the place (I assume this is the reason for the name of the hotel 😀) But the most experienced we had was from the service we received from the front desk manager Ms Anna. She simply amazing lady that know how to take care of her customers and guests. From the moment we reach the hotel till we left she took care of us make our time to be like in a dream. This makes our time like in Eden. The hotel should be Lucky she part of the team. Please not missed it

On arrival at the hotel got two large rooms with a wonderful view from the window with a balcony.The spa is amazing, you can really relax and have a great time, the breakfast is wonderful with lots of choice. Everything is fresh.Many thanks to the front desk Christine and senior Cindy. See you next time

This large resort is perfect with incredible balcony views of the Red Sea and beach area. Situated very close to the border with Aqaba in Jordan, it is a quick ride to the border crossing for those visiting Valley of the Moon or Petra. The food in the hotel is tasty and rooms are spacious. Everything is clean and well done with just one minor complaint. There are no outlets in the bathroom for us girls so don’t plan on fixing your hair. Also no mirrors with outlets in the room; so you’ll go at it blind. Just a minor thing, but worth noting. Enjoy your stay!

The staff is kind but misses experience.
As chairs by the pool were all taken (or reserved by a towel as the "occupier" didn't show up till 11am-12), we spent most of the time on the beach.
There a very hardworking waiter served drinks, but it would have been probably better for everyone if there was a, even if small, bar.
Food was acceptable. Better on Friday than on Thursday.

This is presumably a 5+ stars hotel. It is a decent hotel, but not such a luxury hotel. Room are in need of renovation. They are old. The bed was sub par. If you arrive early - don't expect to find a shower or even a decent place to wash. Breakfast is good (but the standard in Israel is VERY high - so, if you are not used to it, you will be very happy). Dinner was very good (for Israeli buffet style dinner). Prices are unreasonable - as is the current situation in most hotels in Israel. 1000+ shekels single occupancy, for one night (Thursday) including breakfast & dinner)
