Meditur Hotel Bologna in Bologna

- We needed somewhere for one night before our flight so found this to be a very reasonable option. Whilst the price was OK for what we got (2 rooms approx £100 including breakfast) the hotel is in need of refurbishment in some areas, mostly in the rooms rather than common areas
- Whilst the reception staff were friendly and helpful, I did explain that one of our rooms smelled of smoke from the previous customer. They insisted that smoking is prohibited. Some people clearly just don't care
- The rooms are very clean but dated. Blinds need changing. The bed was great and plenty of pillows to be comfortable. The shower trickled out but the bathroom was OK overall and comes with shower gel, shampoo and bath salts if you need them
- The building is kept very warm so needed to keep the window open overnight. Not the best air conditioning system
- Breakfast was probably the best part of the stay. Plenty of choice however, the coffee was not good
- I would probably come back here if unable to find somewhere better next time. I'm surprised by the 4+ rating of this hotel but maybe my review is a little critical. I like to give honest advice
