Breakfast buffet, though, was very good. They had a varied selection of food & drinks.
They don't turn in the A/C during the cold season but when we opened the windows, it was quite noisy because of the loud music from a nearby restaurant/bar. Weird choice ... stuffiness of a room or noise from a nearby establishment?
It was easy to get to Florence city center using the tram. Just watch out for pickpockets.
The room was neat & clean but furniture was very ancient. The weather was warm and they could not put on the air conditioning or even provide a fan!
We also had mosquitoes in my room & I had a hard time sleeping on both nights.
I would not go stay there again
All staff I encountered were excellent. The location is great - close to excellent transit and fairly easy walking distance to the heart of Florence.
But a hat was stolen after my room was cleaned!
Im sure I left it on my carry on cuz I was all packed and kept it to wear it later that day!
