We had a great suite in this nice hotel at a great location. The breakfast service was disappointing with only 1 person and no ability to self serve or even make your own coffee. With various sweet cakes, white toast, and other unhealthy options the scrambled eggs were the only thing I could eat, time to change the traditional choices I would say. Parking is problematic here.

I'll Principe Hotel was really easy to find while walking thanks to multiple signs leading you to the hotel. Check in was easy and painless even with a relatively late arrival. The rooms are well appointed and clean for the most part. One of the two rooms we rented had paint peeling from the ceiling, so that was kind of off putting. Overall a quality place to stay with great staff near the heart of Catania with many attractions in easy walking distance.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Night life was very active in the area but that didn't bother me personally.

Nice Hotel, excellent breakfast. We had an OK room on a budget price, but paid a little extra for a much nicer room with balcony and view,

Nice and centrally located hotel. Neat entrance. Friendly reception. Our hotel room (especially the bathroom) is rather outdated, but that applies to 90% of all Italian hotels. We chose this hotel because in pictures we saw that it was not adjacent to an insanely busy road, but to stately stairs that looked empty and quiet. Unfortunately, outdoor terraces are set up there in the evening and there's live (!) music. If you are a light sleeper, demand a room at the back or look for another hotel.

Four-star hotel in the heart of Catania. Clean. The room I had at the first floor was too close to the street and noisy in the early morning.

Nice room, friendly staff. Had some problems with the temperature in the shower though. One second burning hot and the other freezing cold.

Very nice place, perfectly located, breakfasts are a big plus, Wifi coverage is an issue - I was unable to use it in my room.

We just arrived at Il Principe Hotel and have a problem with the smell in our room. I have asthma and the room reeks of perfume. We've had the windows open for hours and have that hasn't helped. We've tried to get help from Carmine who is on duty and she has been dismissive. It's been very disappointing.
