Very basic hotel but friendly staff and very clean rooms, including the bathroom. Breakfast was quite limited but good. Ideal hotel for a layover!

Al ristorante si può mangiare molto bene anche cucina tipica valtellinese. Il parcheggio si trova appena fuori dalla hotel e anche per quello è molto comodo.

The property was close to the town and we felt secure. The owner was friendly and helpful and the property was spacious and clean. Due to it's location to the eateries it can be a little noisy til fairly late. But as a whole we enjoyed our stay in Lake Como.

Perfect Como Stay We had a fantastic stay at L'Approdo di Sant'Agostino. It is located in the perfect position for town, the ferries, the Brunate funicular and public transport. The room is spacious with an amazing bathroom. Stefano is the perfect host, providing everything you might need and always happy to help with any questions. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this accommodation

This was a lovely room very close to everything. The only drawback was the noise that went late into the night with the men laughing and drinking at the bar underneath the room and began early in the morning with the workers emptying the large amounts of glass bottles from the night.

Beautiful, big room with nice bathroom. Very close to train station and the lake including the ferry stop and local buses with great restaurant options and supermarket in the area. Stefano was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

We have just returned from an amazing time here. The place is lovely, full of Italian charm. The hotel is so close to the funicular and the ordinary railway it’s a great base to stay in. Chiara our host on reception was incredibly helpful, pleasant and funny. Breakfast was great and as much as you wanted. The view from the bedroom is unreal. Would go back tomorrow if I could!

State at Vista Lago as a family of four on our way travelling back through Italy to the UK. We loved the area and the stunning views really made the trek up the mountain roads worth it. It was lovely to see the Lake our of your front window and balcony. We did cram 4 adults in one room (2 parents / 2 teens) so it was tight, but we knew that going in.

The location is right in the center, near shops, lake and train station. The rooms are large with a nice view, bathroom is super clean, with a discreet air freshener. I loved that we had in the room an exprpressor with different coffee, also tea and sweetener/ sugar to enjoy in the morning. the guests are speaking english fluently. Definitely will come back here. 🤩

Location was superb, close to the marina and old town, close to both train stations, some fantastic restaurants and a decent sized supermarket. We visited to watch football, the stadium was a 3 minute walk so it was great for that. The access/rooms was simple and check-in/out was also seemless. Really easy to follow instructions.

The room and location were ok BUT the walls were like paper. We could hear almost everything that was happening in the other rooms and the noise from the street was like people were standing in our room talking!😑

Enjoyed a great family lunch in the restaurant. The staff was really nice and the food was great. I recommend trying the local polenta meals! Also tried some risotto which was very well cooked. Overall a great experience which I recommend to anyone visiting Brunate!

Originally we had planned to stay in Como but I was put off by an unwelcoming host so booked Locanda Milano at the last minute. I was so glad we switched as the owner and his staff could not have been warmer and more accommodating. The hotel is not five star but is clean and homely and the food was wholesome and delicious. Lovely place on top of the mountain overlooking Como Lake. Owner operated & it shows …. Staff terrific & super helpful. Close to the Funicular Train straight to Como waterfront. Some of the best food I’ve ever had, such a stunning location, and I don’t think the staff could have been any more accommodating or friendly truly if your in lake como this is a must and it gave me and my friends a very pleasant memory. The price wasn’t overly expensive not cheap but I’d say 100% worth it

We were a group of 16 people and the owners picked us up and drove us to the restaurant from the funicular. The view, the setting for dinner, the staff and the food were all sensational. Thoroughly recommend going and make arrangements for them to pick you up.

This quiet and tranquil place was absolutely stunning for dinner with a sunset. Good food in an idyllic setting and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend for a meal and there’s a lovely little hotel for those looking for something different and a little out of the way.

We didn't stay here but went for dinner with a reservation. They picked us up from the top of the Funicular, and brought us to their "home". It's a hotel with crazy amazing views. The food was very rustic and delicious, and the service was fabulous. If you are staying in Como area, make the trek, but reserve ahead and ask for a pickup at the top of the funicular.

If it weren't for the morning breakfast service, the stars would have increased for value for money. Lady and Son slow and make you seem like an extra glass of water is a request worthy of a surcharge.

We had a great stay in our room, La Scrustada. Large bedroom, 2 full beds which were comfortable (wasn't sure if a king room bed would be big enough). Excellent bathroom, one sink but other stands to place toiletries. AC was fine. Quiet, although, our room was on the courtyard, so you hear the clinking of plates at 0700 as they set up for breakfast. You're up, but breakfast doesn't start til 0800....

Staying here was the highlight of our Switzerland/Northern Italy trip. Words cannot describe how beautiful this hotel is. The hotel dates back to the 1500 year snd has been beautifully restored . The quiet elegance of this place is amazing . From the second we walked through the entrance we were blown away. The directions to reception were clear and we were warmly greeted by Julie with a blazing fire, drinks and homemade biscuits. We were offered an upgrade and shown the various rooms to choose from and found each room staggeringly beautiful. We were made extremely welcome and every effort was made to assist us. We were told the location of best restaurants and shops and how and where to get a bus into town (a short trip). Tickets for the lake boat trip were arranged.

Rooms are small but neat and clean, more than enough for sleeping, staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good and the coffee is sensational. Bus station and shopping mall is right around the corner. Only downside is the rooms are a little badly soundproof

Hotel simple but very clean and quiet. The owners are very kindly in a quite homey mood.

You can take the bus N1 southbound to Como in the morning. When you take bus back from Como to St Fermo, you have to take metro 74 northbound. Be sure the bus to St Fermo, because some of the buses only to halfway!

Clean and comfy Very clean and comfortable! Spacious and a well equipped kitchen. We spent two nights in the family appartment - and it was a great base for trips in Como. We came by car, and Como is just a 10 minutes drive away. Pizzeria Tuttifrutti close by the apartment had great pizza - and we walked to Gelateria Lariana for gelato every night. I recommed this place :)

I was looking for a hotel to stay for just one night; a stopover on my trip to tuskany. And I was really lucky with this hotel. I can just give a feedback of my single room I booked. This was not very big, but for one person absolutly ok. Very clean with modern interieur. I was also surprised about breakfast. It was a very rich one with buns, marmalade, fruits, cakes, salami and cheese, etc. Perfect...

It's so clean. The facilities are state-of-the-art. Very friendly. They provide information on major travel destinations and kindly explain the facilities. The location is also very close to the station. Hotel security is also very good. Highly recommended.

The service was good! The location is superb! Close to everything. Like the train, bus stations, the city centre and the lake. I slept like a baby and the owner was nice to me. I will definitely come back here again.

The person at this hotel was really welcoming and very flexible in terms of re-arrangement of my stay. He shared many great sightseeing places and directed the way to my room. The bathroom and shower room are shared with others, but they are clean and you still have a single your own room with such a resonance price.

The front desk clerks were extremely friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our shower flooding, which was not resolved due to the holiday schedule. Made it very inconvenient for bathroom time. Also, the air conditioning seemed to not be cooling our room. Breakfast a d staff were great. Location was great.

Great residence, and great personnel. The owner is very kind and always available. Very good internet connection. The location is simply excellent in the heart of city center 1 min from Duomo entrance (main square). Apartments are very nicely furnished and have all the necessary equipment to spend a great time there.

It is 4 minutes walk from the beach and a few steps from Como Cathedral Duomo. Also near to Deumontre Shop which is one of the 6 best gift shops in Como. I stayed a comfortable night in Residence Sant'Abbondio and bought appropriate silver and gold plating jewelry gifts from Deumontre shop.
