Great little hostel in the hills above Como. A short walk to the bus stop to go down into town (shuttle bus also available). Staff super friendly and rooms clean. They also double as a restaurant, and the food is spectacular. Additionally, a couple of local craft beers to choose from.

We visited Venice, Como and Milan, and this restaurant at the top of Brunate was the highlight of our trip. First, you have to take the funicular to Brunate. Then you have to hike to the lighthouse. From there you can either stop for a drink/food or keep going on a wide trail through the trees and along houses. The whole hike is quite exhausting, but the view from this restaurant is well worth it....

If you like to stay with people with good heart then this is a great place for you. Pietro is the best host ever. He cares for us personally and is very cheerful, dedicated to all the guests. Last minute booking, went to check in person if they had some availibility as we did not planned to stay one night in Como. Noone was in reception, waited couple of minutes,then owner came and said there was only one room available for 3 pp. The room was big , very cosy and well decorated. This was a nice place to stay, with a garden/sitting area right outside the room. There is a Lidl across the street for groceries. This place is within walking distance from Lake Como, but away from the crowds of tourists. The service at the front desk was exceptional, and Marta and the man who worked there were very kind and accommodating.

Marta at the front desk was really nice and helped us navigate the ferries. It was only a short walk to the train station and lake. We were able to leave our luggage there after checkout and had time to explore Varenna.

Huge surprise, the room was big and it seems everything new. Ivonne from front desk was such a nice person, since we checked in she gave us tons of recommendations of where to go. Lucky the hotel to have an amazing worker like her. Highly recommended

Maximum relaxation. A pleasant outdoor garden with swimming pool. Modern and spacious rooms. In 10 minutes you can reach the center of Como and in 15 the lake. I was fine, I'll be back for sure!

The hotel is a set of suites and for a single night in Como the Victorial Suite had a great price, and with up to 2 more beds available I think it'd make a good deal. The apartment was huge and with climate control and a nice bedroom. The receptionist was very helpful in getting us set up and after that the room was a good base for the rest of the weekend.

We ate very well, abundant and good dishes. The staff very polite and helpful.

Stayed here for one night. I’ve requested a room with a lake view, and they’ve accepted my request. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and it looked really good

Sadly we weren’t able to access the rooms as they had water damage from rainfall the day before. But they had already booked us a new hotel and arranged transport for us, everything paid for! They even gave us a free breakfast. This is extremely kind for a hotel in their position as others would most likely tell us to deal with it ourselves. Grezie mille!

Went there with friends on Saturday night last month. Such a beautiful building and great location. We found nice staff and it has lots of options in the menu. All of us ended up enjoying our plates so much. There are few vegetarian options, the one I had (don’t remember the name) it was so good. Really recommended!

Great service and the best polenta I've tried! It is definitely worth it taking the road to eat delicious food with a fantastic view and ambient.

Really love B&B Hotels especially breakfast. All clean and tidy and a free parking in front of the hotel. Our room 204 was not small. The queen size bed is super comfy for deep night sleep. Too bad they don't serve a bottle of water like they do in their other hotels.The staff is friendly. check-in process is so cool in case you come after 11PM- all digital and automated.

The hotel is clean and you can park in the yard. There is a big supermarket next to it. It is a 15-minute drive from the city center, so it is only suitable for self-driving. The room is at the level of domestic home inns. The room on the second floor does not have any exterior view, just like a skylight. Alas, it is not satisfactory.

We slept here for one night and it was very good. No luxury, but just neat and well arranged. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a private, closed parking garage which saves a lot of hassle in Como. The breakfast was good: nice and well taken care of. The room is large and has a balcony. It is right in the center of the town, with a good location and free parking. The room is clean, cost-effective, and convenient to go anywhere. Highly recommended!

The room was arranged on the first floor, facing the road. There were two emergency exits hidden behind the curtains, and one of the doors was not closed. The soundproofing was very poor, and I could hear people chatting and traffic outside at night. This was the worst hotel to stay in when traveling in Europe. It felt like I was living on the side of a main road.

The hotel is very convenient to the train station at Como S. Giovanni and the Questura. Reception was quite kind and professional. I had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel has made a lot of commitments to being environmentally friendly. It's a great location with a short walk to the train, ferry, and lots of restaurants. I felt safe as a solo female traveler.

Never heard of this hotel before. the price was right so we booked one in Como and another one in Trieste. Overall, it was satisfactory. Some minor problems which did not dampen our stay since we were out touring during the day. AC was not very strong. Room temperature stayed at 25C to 26C in August. Bellavista is a perfectly restored traditional Italian Hotel with a long standing history in Brunate and lives up to its reputation. My husband and I were recommended this place while we were on our honeymoon. He had the duck pasta and I had the boar ragu. It was one of the the best pastas we’ve ever had and we still talk about it. You know it’s good when it lingers in your mind and palate. Extraordinary place with a spectacular view on Como and the lake. We only ate there but it was a magnificient moment and a tasteful meal. They have a lot of vegetarian choices and even replaced meat with potatoes. I would definitely come back again to have the view in winter. :)

An average hotel with average service, far from the noise. There is nothing wrong with it except the air conditioning. It is one of the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. The air conditioning works on one level. You cannot lower or raise it unless you turn it off. This is very disturbing to the guests.

B&B was easy to find and there is free parking in the street in front of the B&B. The room and the bathroom were very clean and well equipped and the bed quite large. We received a big bottle of water and fresh fruits at our arrival. There is no AC in the room but a fan that worked very well. This was one of my favourite travelling experiences. The apartment is big and clean and so close to the Lake. The staff were so incredibly helpful and kind. All spoke great English and we're lovely. Great centrally located accommodation perfect for couples and small families. Staff very helpful but lost a star as the reception office was closed when we arrived, even though we'd arrived at our stated time. Had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to turn up...

We enjoyed our stay here. There are two apartment Locations - We chose the apartment at Via Fontana because of the location and the lift which came in handy after long days on your feet. 2 minute walk to ferry and center of town. Nearby by grocery was easily accessible. We cooked a few meals while we were there – kitchen was adequately appointed. Would stay here again.
