The hotel is conveniently located, a 5-minute walk from the Piazza Principe train station and 10 minutes from the city center and the port. The room is clean and comfortable. Bottled water, tea, and instant coffee are provided. The only drawback is the small shower.
The hotel has a great location. That's where the positives end. The reception staff is extremely unfriendly; they don't say hello or goodbye. The rooms are old, the walls are stained, it's noisy until late at night, there's a smell of food in the room from the cafe on the ground floor, and the Wi-Fi signal is terrible.
The hotel is in a great location, very close to Prince Train Station, with convenient transportation and a rich selection of hotels, restaurants and bars around it. However, the hotel is as old as the city of Genoa, with no elevator and simple breakfast. Although the bathroom has been renovated, the shower room is too small, making it almost impossible to move while taking a shower. At the same time...
Great location and easy check in. Very convenient to the cruise terminal (walking distance) and all public transportation. The front desk was very helpful in scheduling our taxi to the airport.
Fantastic hotel, apartments were lovely. Absolutely loved this hotel. Our apartment was really big..and my son was delighted to have his own room. The staff were helpful. The room was serviced every day. The aircon worked well...and it was in a fantastic location. Really clise to the station eith some great bars/restaurants nearby.

Great, clean hotel and very friendly service. I like that you set your breakfast for the next morning in advance and food is not wasted. Very close to Corso Italia as well as the beach, on foot.
Small hotel with a few rooms on the reception floor. A few breakfast tables located at the entrance of the hotel. Breakfast upon reservation the evening before, you are given a sheet of paper with the list of what can be ordered and you have to write what, how much and above all what time you will have breakfast the next morning. The breakfast is good. The rooms are modest and the bathroom has small...
Beautiful hotel and one of the few in Genoa with parking that can be booked for 10 euros. Very clean, comfortable room and friendly staff ready for every need. A stone's throw from the seafront and convenient for those who go to Gaslini for visits (10 minutes). Breakfast served no longer as a buffet but just as vast and abundant. Congratulations above all for the kindness and professionalism of the...
Hospitality and friendliness Courtesy
Very pretty hotel, well located in Boccadasse, a stone's throw from the beach and restaurants. The hotel has guarded parking (10 euros per night). The rooms are a little small but well equipped and very clean, however the sound insulation is zero and when you have roommates who don't respect anything it's complicated. Breakfast is ordered the evening before for the next morning, reception shows you...
Small but functional and decent hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the receptionist who gave us so much useful information. Beautiful area just a little outside Genoa, a stone's throw from the beautiful village of Boccadasse. Genoa center can also be reached in about 15 minutes by bus from just outside the hotel.

First day the staff was very nice. Our room was noisy so we ask to be transferred. They were nice to move our staff only the room was smaller but it was quiet.
Excellent hotel. Excellent hotel. Very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice free continental breakfast in the morning in a very pleasant breakfast room. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, and the next time I'm in Genoa, this is were I will be staying again.
Good value modern rooms Clean, modern and well laid out room. Everything that was needed. Breakfast a bonus. A bit further from the station than the listing suggests.
Great place for a couple of days, location close enough to train station and some restaurants, little noise from outside but not too bad. Staff 5 stars.
Room was excellent. 24 hr front desk is a bonus as we arrived late evening.
Very clean, nice and wonderful place to stay. Very good and friendly service who helps you every moment.

So and so. There's ac. But lots of noise in the morning.
We found this hotel by searching on Google, and we were pleasantly surprised by its quality. We stayed in 3 rooms with my family and a bambino. You can tell they did a great job of renovation. The rooms were clean and in good condition. They had air conditioning, which was a plus because we were there on very hot days. The furniture and bathrooms were new. We chose to pay for breakfast and it was worth...
It is great location, and good breakfast. Rooms are very clean. But view is realy not nice at all.For one night it was ok.We were there two weeks ago
good stuff and very good location
Fabulous hotel for its location, it is located in the alleys, the alleys of the historic center, in front of the Aquarium of Genoa, two minutes from the ViadelCampo Rosso29 museum, emporium and museum dedicated to Fabrizio De André. You can walk to all the points of interest in the city. It is a renovated building in the old city, the rooms are comfortable, clean but old. The included breakfast is...
Clean hotel. Silent, despite being in the alleyways. Friendly and kind staff. We stayed here with our dog (a Weimar bracco). Other hotels refused us because the dog was too big. They don't. Perfect in hospitality.

Booked for a friend....I couldn't believe it..a stone's throw from my house and in an incredible setting for Genoa!!
I went to see it for my daughter, who was thrilled, the owners are two courteous people and the location is beautiful
Excellent location surrounded by greenery on the heights of granarolo. Wonderful place to relax and spend some time in the silence of the hill. The friendly, helpful and very polite owners. 100% recommended
Little paradise... Hidden at the end of a road that isn't the prettiest, Villetta Bisio is a little paradise that has to be earned. Very pleasant garden (hundred-year-old olive tree, pergola, etc.) and very well maintained in the middle of which sits a beautiful swimming pool. Room with balcony and very nice bathroom. Quality bedding. Warm and smiling welcome. Ideal to spend 2 to 3 nights.

Was a great location for me as it was close to the port and arrived late at night. Friendly staff, clean place, available garage upon reservation. All went well
Lovely overnight stay in an area just outside city centre by a few kilometres. Still easy to get to and had a local feel with many workers and families coming together under the arcades. Nice to have breakfast included in price. Would recommend the bed to any traveller!
I can highly recommend this hotel - everything was very clean - staff very friendly and helpful and a very good breakfast - everything to our complete satisfaction - it couldn't be better 👍👍👍
Good location and clean overall. The wifi was not working the entire time we stayed here which is very inconvenient if you are traveling and don’t have data. Parking is expensive too!
The old man at the check-in kept us waiting for 20 minutes whilst he was putting our details in the computer (that he could easily do without us). The breakfast was alright, a lot of sweet options but from sour only cheese and salami.
We arrived here by motorbike on 04/07/24. The hotel is situated on a very busy road in Genoa. The receptionist came out and let us in to the secure private parking area. Hotel Cantore is well situated for local bars, cafes, restaurants etc. The room was very clean and of a good size to accommodate 2 people and all our motorbike gear. The staff very very friendly and helpful. We would like to say a...

Really cool hotel with a very nice and friendly service. Mattheo is a good service men and you have here a execellent price-performance ratio. Its my second time this summer and the location is still the best to have a good short vacation trip.
Rooms were clean. Breakfast was decent, nothing grand. Bathroom could do with a bit of renovation as there's visible rust and deterioration. Pleasant stay overall
Great value for the price. Nice staff.
Good quality for good price. If you need just accommodation, it will be suitable for you. More attraction out of the hotel .
Very good medium priced hotel. Perfect location: restaurants, sea and shops are all nearby. The smallest beach is very close (2 min. from hotel), the largest is in Sturla (10 min walking). Shops in the neighborhood: Carreffour, Lidl. Also bus stops are close, good connection to train station Brignole. Hotel situated on a small quite road with no traffic at all. Cosy hotel Amazing host and beautiful hotel. Would stay there again without hesitation
Wonderfully comfortable stay. Walking distance to cafes, supermarket, and Genova Brignole station. Very central, highly recommend for convenience as a tourist.
Our stay was perfect. Exceptional welcome and customer care, impeccable cleanliness, large and stylishly furnished room. Very good breakfast. The B&B is also in a strategic position both for moving with trains and buses from the Genova Brignole station and for reaching Boccadasse on foot with an hour's walk. To get to the historic center there is a short and pleasant walk along the central Via XX Settembre...
the B&B is super clean, recently remodeled in a very good location and really quiet at the same time. Beds are very comfortable. Good breakfast with excellent coffee, including fruit if you want. The owner is super friendly. It has an excellent price-quality relation. I really recommend this accommodation for a visit to Genova.
Can only agree with others that this is a top quality bed & breakfast. Facilities close to 4 star hotel, spotless, tasteful decoration, comfy beds, air con etc. It's an exceptional bathroom and shower too. Great breakfast in small dining area. Great place, very spacious and centrally situated. Lovely breakfast with lovely views over the city👌
A good location for walking in the city about 15 minutes walk to the pier and the nightlife along the water.
We had a very pleasant stay here, very well located, professional staff and safe area near the main piazza. Great views and recently refurbished room. Very pleased
A really nice eclectic family run boutique hotel in the heart of old Genoa. Great bars and restaurants close by and an easy 10 minute walk to the old port where your boat tours leave for Portofino and surrounding destinations.
Friendly staff. Quirky, spacious rooms. Good air conditioning. Lovely breakfast on the terrace with a view of the city
Very good central location. Small family run hotel and staff are welcoming and friendly. Clean inside and comfortable rooms. Rooms have an Italian rustic feel. Wifi works fine. This is not a big American style hotel, it is a family run friendly hotel. We loved it.

Simply the Best Plaza Premium! As I have been others countries, I rated this as the best! This my 3rd time on transit, the dishes were good in taste!
Hotel staff was very cooperative getting the bed right. The room cleaning was marginal and not consistent. The accommodations were good.
Paintings on the ceiling were super cute Hard to find lobby at first
In the city so parking is difficult. The hotel starts on the 3rd floor so either go up many stairs or wait for an elevator that only fits 2 people. Room was small and loud.
Great Location, old building with old lift. Not view alt all.
A lovely stay Everything was great thanks. The breakfast guy was outstanding. I think his name was Matteo He managed the check in and all the breakfasts at the same time- he never stopped. We were so impressed. I hope he’s paid well because he earns it!

Great hotel with the great and clean rooms. Breakfast is good for Italian standards. Some rooms have a nice look on the city and sea. A little bit far from the center of Genoa.
Terrible place. Airco was broken. Was not told at checking in. Never offered compensation. From 6 in the morning cars line up to go to the ferry/cruise ships for hours with their engines on.

Nice for short stays Travelled for business. Beautiful building, nice view, and OK rooms. Works like a charm.
It was a nice room and it was an old castle jut 10 minutes out main town I will stay there agian
Something very special, a small castle with wonderful waves all night long. very pleasant for everyone who loves the sound of the sea.
It's real small castel! And you can feel it everywhere.. Yeah, it's not fancy.. And really needs some repair.. Amazing location - directly on the beach, so even worth closed windows you can hear the sea. Nice to have breakfast on the small terrace on the ground floor. Also there is sun terrace on the roof with sunbeds, chairs and so on..
Friendly staff. Great location. Urgent renovation is needed! Poor interior.

Very friendly owner/staff members, nice room and balcony. Painting of cute cats in the hallway.
This hotel is well located to visit the Genoa aquarium, and within walking distance of the city center. The room was clean and overall OK, but it had a couple of weaknesses that make it more like a 2.5-stars rather than a 3-stars: the shower was tiny so it was hard not to bump in the walls, you could hear everything happening in the street (meaning the glass of the windows was too thin), there was...
Central location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great apartment rooms with private kitchen and bathrooms. Breakfast buffet amazing. Very accommodating! Thanks fir making our ten days enjoyable
The hotel is situated in a good place. The receptionist speaks Good French and super nice. We wanted to stay one more night but there were no rooms for the next day. One thing. The bed mattress was so soft...
Quirky and fun. Minus 1 🌟 for the too hard bed and the too small pillows.

Charming old house with a beautiful style Staff, a family, very friendly Tasty breakfast with homemade products In hot weather, the room can be hot in the night
I was there for 3 days and 2 nights. The breakfast is awesome. There were a lot of selection for breakfast. Must try the cakes! The cakes weren't too sweet, just a nice. Dinner there is also good. Would totally recommend to have dinner there instead of restaurant outside. The room is also nice and clean. It has a nice wall colour and ambiance. Would definitely stay there again :))
I just loved this place. Grand old style but run down in keeping with the area. Very clean Rooms that were large with very high ceilings. Bathroom a little small but adequate. I give 5 stars because of the staff , what a great team, they will try and help in any way possible with assistance , advice, directions recommendations. If I return i will definitely book direct with the hotel for car parking etc. For me the location was excellent as i was travelling off by train and it literally is a stones throw from Piazza Principe Station which with heavy rucksacks was ideal....
Front desk spoke English and they were very hospitable. We asked them if they had any cheaper rooms than what we could find on their website and he showed us something for $95. Location is great if you are taking a cruise and leave from the port nearby.
First thing to say is that the receptionists -the ones during the day and the one at night- were awesome!! Really nice people. On top of that, the hotel is aproximately two minutes walking from the train station so that’s super useful.
