Excellent value. Decent sized room, everything you need, and very clean. Bed comfy, maybe bedding could be improved a little. Bathroom again, decent size and spotless. Decent shower. A few plumbing issues but nothing major, just a few upgrades needed here and there. All staff were super friendly but particularly the young lady at breakfast, breakfast selection was excellent as well. You’re approximately a 45 walk from the centre, not bad but does feel longer in the heat. Plenty of places to eat close by and main shopping centre close by as well. Are plenty of options to the centre via bus, train and the Metro is approximately a 15 minute walk as well. Would happily stay there again.

Was a great location for me as it was close to the port and arrived late at night. Friendly staff, clean place, available garage upon reservation. All went well

Lovely overnight stay in an area just outside city centre by a few kilometres. Still easy to get to and had a local feel with many workers and families coming together under the arcades. Nice to have breakfast included in price. Would recommend the bed to any traveller!

Good location and clean overall. The wifi was not working the entire time we stayed here which is very inconvenient if you are traveling and don’t have data. Parking is expensive too!

The old man at the check-in kept us waiting for 20 minutes whilst he was putting our details in the computer (that he could easily do without us). The breakfast was alright, a lot of sweet options but from sour only cheese and salami.

We arrived here by motorbike on 04/07/24. The hotel is situated on a very busy road in Genoa. The receptionist came out and let us in to the secure private parking area. Hotel Cantore is well situated for local bars, cafes, restaurants etc. The room was very clean and of a good size to accommodate 2 people and all our motorbike gear. The staff very very friendly and helpful. We would like to say a special thank you to Luciano, who helped us out and let us stay there all afternoon until our motorbike was recovered as it had broken down. Sadly they were fully booked so we could not stay an extra night. This hotel is very well priced, clean and convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location
Friendly and helpful staff. They have a secured parking lot nearby, very easy to arrive from the motorway and they are conveniently located for public transport which is the best way to move around Genova. Typical local neighborhood and plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Room very clean and the breakfast healthy.
