We had a great time: the room was spacious, the staff were very helpful and accommodating to our needs and requests, the building was centrally located for reaching the main attractions, and the lounge had a view of the Duomo.

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. First, its location is excellent hidden away by the Duomo, but very quiet. The room was great with 2 double beds and ample space. And very comfortable. However, the bathroom space is very limited. Not only that it has a marble floor which is very slippery when wet and potentially dangerous. Excellent Hotel, very friendly, great location to the port and the football stadium, rooms and hotel are spotless, breakfast was great, would stop there again. 15min walk to the front and 15 min walk to the football stadium, alot of hill walking so be advised.

Well located, not so far way from the city center, with a bus stop just in front, where the bus 34 that comes from the main train station stops. A very recommended hotel. The hotel is very new. The bed and shower water are very good. It is in a private yacht club. There are six restaurants nearby and a very safe free parking lot. I will come again if I have the opportunity.

At walking distance from the De Ferrari metro station, from where you can easily get the trains to Cinqueterre, Milan, etc. Good option for those taking a cruise at the Genoa port.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful and knowledable. The bathrooms had been recently renovated so they were nice and clean. Only drawback was the flight of stairs you have to climb with your suitcase just to get into the hotel lobby. Also it was hard to find dinning nearby as most places were closed when we were there.

Recently,I had the privilege of staying at the Hotel Vittoria very close to the Principe Railroad Station.I stayed at the Vittoria for 4 nights.I enjoyed my room,I appreciated the nice breakfast,and I liked the hospitality of the Vittoria's staff. The staff helped me find my way to Genoa's delightful art museums(Bianco Palazzo,Rosso Palazzo,Frugone,Diocesan,Saint Augustine)and awesome cathedral.

Liked everything! The location of the hotel is close to the railway station and the cruise port (this was important for us). The room is clean, comfortable, bed with a comfortable mattress and snow-white linens. Breakfast is standard. Very responsive, polite, friendly staff.

Basic hotel room which met my needs. My first two nights were a bit noisy due to the proximity of a bar that I was unaware of. My third night was in a different room that was simply quiet bliss! The staff were all wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. I am still missing the delicious coffees! Hotel Helvetia is close to many attractions, including the train station and the waterfront.

Fine accommodations, but they charged me an additional €90 upon arrival. It's hard not to think of this an intentional deception on their part. I'd have given 4 stars if they had simply been up front about the cost. The "free" breakfast was good, but it wasn't €90 good.

Pretty hotel by the yacht harbour. Breakfast was supposed to open at 07, but we got everything served at 06.30. Taxi to the airport was 13 euro. The walk is a little more than 20 minutes. Nice staff. Great sushi restaurant next door. I know it’s normal in the country but I really miss duvet covers. There was only a sheet between me and the down duvet. I think that’s really creepy due to hygiene.

Lovely Hotel Room with large comfy bed and super soft pillows. Great sized bathroom with extra large walk in shower complete with handheld shower wand and massive rain shower head. I stayed for a weekend with a group of friends. Basic rooms but very clean. Bed ok. Nice view over the neighbouring villas and partial sea view from the balcony. This is a small, family run hotel. Everyone who works there is very kind and helpful, and many speak English. It is clean, quiet, and convenient to the train and Parco Nervi. There is breakfast and it is possible to book lunch and dinner. They introduced me to strawberry risotto one lunch - it is delicious. If you come in summer bring insect repellent; Nervi has mosquitos.

I really liked this hotel. It offers excellent value for money. It was clean and warm, and the location is great, being close to both the train station and the city center. Hot water is available in the evenings. I'd definitely recommend it for a 1-2 night stay, especially if you're catching a cruise.

I don't know if it's a bad location or that the city is kind of ugly. Although the hotel is located at a super-strategic train and bus stop, the city has a lot to talk about. They were very attentive with the cleanliness of the room, which surprised me. They serviced my room without me asking, so don't leave anything of value inside. I didn't lose anything, but it's still better to be cautious.

It takes 5 minutes to transfer to the center circle of the pier, subway and train station. The hotel is clean and well-equipped. Excellent hotel, we stayed there for 5 days in July clean rooms and excellent service. The breakfast in the morning is plentiful and of excellent quality and the staff is always helpful and kind. There is also the hotel car park which is a short distance away, convenient both if you want to go to the beach and if you have to go to the Gaslini hospital. We will certainly return

We booked. The annex, which remains as a classic hotel room, with the presence of a kitchenette. We have been fine. The breakfast is also excellent. Which was requested gluten-free and lactose-free.

Not the most amazing experience here. The air conditioning was not working properly during our stay and we were met with condensation from the staff. They did fix the AC our second day. They rely on WhatsApp to communicate with you during your stay and expect you to respond quickly. Overall, the room was fine. It was the staff who left us not feeling welcome or wanting to return.
