We had a great time: the room was spacious, the staff were very helpful and accommodating to our needs and requests, the building was centrally located for reaching the main attractions, and the lounge had a view of the Duomo.
I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. First, its location is excellent hidden away by the Duomo, but very quiet. The room was great with 2 double beds and ample space. And very comfortable. However, the bathroom space is very limited. Not only that it has a marble floor which is very slippery when wet and potentially dangerous. Although it was quite palatial, it somehow lacked character and...
Spacious and clean room....one downside is no air conditioning but a ceiling fan...a shame because it was very hot...
From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. They were incredibly friendly and always available to assist with any requests or questions we had. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions, arranging transportation, or advise for a parking spot.Theu made our stay memorable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I highly recommend...
Location could not be beat and it's so cool to stay in an old castle! Everything was comfortable. The perfect place for our 24 hours in Genoa!

The place was nice but the air conditioner didn’t work properly.
I like a big room with beautiful view.Receptionist are very kind.
Great location, but a bit dated Great location, but a bit dated. Good value for money
Good sized rooms for families. Breakfast is great with lots of options. Hotel is clean and has basic amenities.
Good value and location. Property in need of remodeling.
Opposite a beach, which is ok but not the best beach, a long way out of Genoa city. Property needs some work, floors squeaked and were dirty. Parking was good. Breakfast offerings were ok, cold selection, no hot food. One good thing was coffee made to order. Not much interaction with staff. Looks grand from the front but inside it feels like it’s due a renovation. Large bedroom size.

Excellent Hotel, very friendly, great location to the port and the football stadium, rooms and hotel are spotless, breakfast was great, would stop there again. 15min walk to the front and 15 min walk to the football stadium, alot of hill walking so be advised.
Nice place. Perfect personal. Near to the center city
Friendly service and the hotel was okay!, a bit expensive for the quality but fine!
There was best personal, friendly, helpful and very fast fixed all our problems. We had nice and clean room. Hotel has a good location on beautiful street. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because our apartman had window oriented inside to the building. There was dark all the time. They didn’t have a big offer for breakfast but it was very tasty.
Personnel at the desk was really nice. However the room surprised us regarding the 175€ for 2 people for 2 nights. The view is basically non existent in this room. Otherwise the room was clean but there was this weird smell in bathroom We could have read into the rooms more carefully since this was an "economy" option. I recommend to pay more for a better room. There is also breakfast included in the...
Well located, not so far way from the city center, with a bus stop just in front, where the bus 34 that comes from the main train station stops. Really friendly staff that offers city guides in multiple languages when you arrive. Breakfast is a bit above average, but really good for a 2 star hotel. The hotel itself was great, the staff was super helpful, and the room (Room 404) was very clean and spacious. My spouse said it was her favorite of the four hotels we stayed in. Minus one star for the AC system. The unit was installed behind the curtains; when the curtains were closed, it trapped cold air, which tricked the thermostat into reading a lower temperature than the room actually was. You...
One of my favorite hotels ever. The way they combined modern style and comforts into this historic building while retaining it's history was truly impressive. Some reviews and travel guides will scare you about the old town neighborhood at night but we find the area around this hotel to be safe, quite, interesting, and beautiful. It was such a great central location to all the places we wanted to see...
The hotel is really nice, the frescos on the ceiling are stunning. The room was really small and not very efficient. Service was fine. Location is good, right in the city center however the hotel can only be reached walking because it is in a pedestrian only piazza. Taxis can not drop you off in front of it. Our rate did not include breakfast so we can not review it. The AC in the room was not the...
My wife & I very much enjoyed our recent stay at Palazzo Grillo. We chose it for its location in the Old Town, which was ideal. Our only observation was that some arm chairs or a sofa would have been a good addition. Would definitely...
Overall we enjoyed the stay in the hotel, well designed, good matress checkin and out took just a couple of minutes. We were on the 4th floor, breakfast is on the fifth floor and makes you wake up. There is no remote for the ac and no moscito protection. We also booked a late checkout, but the cleaning lady entered the room before we left the room and took the bed sheets off, although our stuff was...
This is a beautiful palazzo in the very heart of the city. Furthermore it has been decorated with a very tasteful modern touch. It’s gorgeous! Unfortunately the management does not live up to the expectations (neither to a 4 star status) and is more suitable for a Ryanair experience. A very recommended hotel. The hotel is very new. The bed and shower water are very good. It is in a private yacht club. There are six restaurants nearby and a very safe free parking lot. I will come again if I have the opportunity.
The room was large, clean, modern, comfortable and quiet. We slept well on our nights there! We chose it because of the good reviews and we would stay here again. Location was great . I give it a must stay, and if I ever come back to Genova I'll be sure to stay there again.
Amazing small hotel in the heart of Genova marina. Fantastic terraces with an extraordinary view on the boats
Spacious room, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast

Friendly staff.. excellent location for moving...small room but clean and it is ok for short stay.... welcome coffee free.... the staff answered my question for tourists... Id recommend 👌
At walking distance from the De Ferrari metro station, from where you can easily get the trains to Cinqueterre, Milan, etc. Good option for those taking a cruise at the Genoa port.
Well-kept and welcoming structure. Small room but with everything you need. Located in a perfect area to visit Genoa on foot.
The location of the hotel is perfect to explore the center of Genoa. The welcome by the staff was lovely and the room comfortable.
I had a lovely stay here, the staff were so friendly and helpful. It was also a great location. I’d stay here again if I get back to Genoa.
The staff at the hotel were very helpful and knowledable. The bathrooms had been recently renovated so they were nice and clean. Only drawback was the flight of stairs you have to climb with your suitcase just to get into the hotel lobby. Also it was hard to find dinning nearby as most places were closed when we were there.

Recently,I had the privilege of staying at the Hotel Vittoria very close to the Principe Railroad Station.I stayed at the Vittoria for 4 nights.I enjoyed my room,I appreciated the nice breakfast, and I liked the hospitality of the Vittoria's staff. The staff helped me find my way to Genoa's delightful art museums(Bianco Palazzo,Rosso Palazzo,Frugone,Diocesan,Saint Augustine)and awesome cathedral.
Liked everything! The location of the hotel is close to the railway station and the cruise port (this was important for us). The room is clean, comfortable, bed with a comfortable mattress and snow-white linens. Breakfast is standard. Very responsive, polite, friendly staff.
The hotel is in a great location, right next to the train station. The room should have been recently renovated, it was very clean, and the staff were very enthusiastic! In short, I was very satisfied!

Nice hotel in central location. Walkable distance to most attractions. Good breakfast. Worth what I paid.
Basic hotel room which met my needs. My first two nights were a bit noisy due to the proximity of a bar that I was unaware of. My third night was in a different room that was simply quiet bliss! The staff were all wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. I am still missing the delicious coffees! Hotel Helvetia is close to many attractions, including the train station and the waterfront.
We spent 3 nights at this hotel. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Very nice breafast. Perfect lovation in the old city. Everything within walkingdistance. Nice and clean rooms. Nice and quiet. Aircon working perfectly. Fridge in the room, which was actually cold.
Fine accommodations, but they charged me an additional €90 upon arrival. It's hard not to think of this an intentional deception on their part. I'd have given 4 stars if they had simply been up front about the cost. The "free" breakfast was good, but it wasn't €90 good.
Great air conditioning and breakfast. Conveniently located near the port and in the center of old town. Reasonable price and friendly staff. No WiFi on the second floor. We asked three times for some assistance, received no results. All things considered it was okay.
Nice place to lodge and breakfast 😋👌and

We loved it. Clean, cosy, comfortable, near the beach.
Really nice staff, very clean and good prices
Well located. Comfortable rooms. Very nice staff. Just be patient and follow the instructions to get to the parking.
Very nice and well located hotel near the sea. Nice and big rooms. Ac works really well. Very nice and helpful service. They were incredible to accomadate us the best they could. Breakfast is a bit disappointing. A lot of sugary stuff, but not or no cheeses, nor French bread and only early morning boiled eggs were available. I loved the location of this hotel, room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom being so up to date. I enjoyed the Turkish Hamam (sauna bath) inside my room. There was a coffee machine downstairs which the guests can use for free and lite snacks too. It’s located right behind the Genoa airport, the taxi charged 15 euro to take me to the airport. There are very nice restaurants right next to this...
Pretty hotel by the yacht harbour. Breakfast was supposed to open at 07, but we got everything served at 06.30. Taxi to the airport was 13 euro. The walk is a little more than 20 minutes. Nice staff. Great sushi restaurant next door. I know it’s normal in the country but I really miss duvet covers. There was only a sheet between me and the down duvet. I think that’s really creepy due to hygiene.
Lovely Hotel Room with large comfy bed and super soft pillows. Great sized bathroom with extra large walk in shower complete with handheld shower wand and massive rain shower head. Although in a nice location on the Marina, this place lacks a little atmosphere. Maybe it is because it doesn't have its own cafe bar. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly.

I stayed for a weekend with a group of friends. Basic rooms but very clean. Bed ok. Nice view over the neighbouring villas and partial sea view from the balcony. Great position close to clubs and restaurants. There are 2 chargers for electric vehicles. The young ladies at the reception and the waitresses were very kind.
We stayed for one night, and we were very pleased with our choice. The parking within the walls of the compact hotel grounds felt secure, and the hotel location is only a few minutes walk from the Passeggiata Anita Garibaldi a Nervi promenade - we had a lovely view of the sea from our balcony. Our room was pleasant and comfy with decent air conditioning. The small bathroom was a bit warm and stuffy...
This is a small, family run hotel. Everyone who works there is very kind and helpful, and many speak English. It is clean, quiet, and convenient to the train and Parco Nervi. There is breakfast and it is possible to book lunch and dinner. They introduced me to strawberry risotto one lunch - it is delicious. If you come in summer bring insect repellent; Nervi has mosquitos.
Nicely located, just by the rail station and next to the ocean and trail path by the sea. Courteous staff, small but clean rooms and good breakfast.

The location is excellent. The breakfast is nice, and the reception staff are friendly and helpful
Walking distance from the train station. Single room, quite spacious, 2 windows in the room and 1 in the bathroom. The hotel is quite old, but clean.
Unfortunately the room (and the structure) are old, along with the upholstery. After days of travel, they are not the ideal place to relax. The dust in the elevator gears tells of years of neglect. I found the reception staff very kind. Overall, the quality-price ratio is not good.
The hotel is very old-fashioned, and the keys are still the original ones with teeth. You are not allowed to take them out when you go out. I guess you are worried about losing your copy. The elevator is made of mesh and will tremble when it stops. The curtains are very dirty, with a layer of dust visible to the naked eye. The bedside board is loose. Hotels at the same price are several levels higher...
The hotel is built along the mountain. It is uphill from Prince Station, which is inconvenient with luggage and there is no elevator. When you arrive at the front desk to check in, there are many stairs waiting for you from the front desk to the elevator entrance. Genovese refers to Genoese, and also means shrewd and stingy. There was no water in the room. I asked the front desk and they gave me a...
The hotel is in a great location, right next to the train station. Just turn right and go up a slope to get there. Don't take the stairs in the middle. The main entrance is on the side of the road. I don't know if it's a bad location or that the city is kind of ugly. Although the hotel is located at a super-strategic train and bus stop, the city has a lot to talk about. They were very attentive with the cleanliness of the room, which surprised me. They serviced my room without me asking, so don't leave anything of value inside. I didn't lose anything, but it's still better to be cautious.
Arrived to the location from train station. Needed to visit the cruise terminal and the hotel was a perfect distance from train station and cruise terminal to be able to walk to either. The location seemed alot nicer in the pictures.
The location of the hotel is OK, near the train station, and it was easy to find with navigation. It seems to have just been renovated, and the room has a decorative feel. the hotel was perfect, the room was very clean and very nice. The only problem was maybe the elevator that with the suitcases is a bit uncomfortable because it was small, but for the rest everything was perfect.

Not the most amazing experience here. The air conditioning was not working properly during our stay and we were met with condensation from the staff. They did fix the AC our second day. This is really an awesome place to stay right in the heart of Genoa’s old town. You check in at the main hotel on the small piazza and walk across the square to a secure doorway.
