Hotel Panoramic

We booked our hotel using American Express points for a wedding being held in Taormina. We emailed the hotel twice to confirm the reservation twice and they were unable to find our reservation. American Express called them three times to confirm they reservation and they hung up on them. The hotel did then send me an email confirming the reservation.
The hotel has a lovely view but is across from a nightclub that blasts music until 3 AM. You have to close your windows to try to sleep but it does not help. Also, there is no air conditioning so with the windows shut so it was swelteringly hot. We went in June and it was very hot. Also the bed and pillows are not very comfortable which added to the discomfort.
The shower leaked and left the bathroom flooded each time we used it.
Also, there is a bar located in the hotel but no bartender available for the 6 days we were there, so there is no access to ice or a cocktail while at the pool.
The woman who cleaned our room and the receptionists at the front desk were very nice.
I would not recommend this hotel

What u need to know :
1. 2 star hotel at best, don’t pay more than $80 not worth it
2. Rooms are clean. Nothing fancy
3. U get nothing extra, not even a bottle of water
4. THERES A NIGHT CLUB ACROSS THE STREET YOU WONT SLEEP ALL NIGHT . The music stops at 4AM .
5 . Glad it was only one night

The entrance to the hotel is on a steep broken asphalt, which made it very hard to carry the suitcase from the car to the hotel. From the lobby to the elevator you have to go up stairs which also makes it hard to carry our suitcases and no one offered to help us. Definitely not suitable for elderly or disabled people. The AC in the room is very weak and the room was very hot. There was no electric pot in the room, no tea or coffee, no water or anything to drink and we had to go to the lobby and purchase a bottle of water for 3 Euro. The single bed was is a low quality folding bed. We were given only two flat pillows and a thin sheet with no proper blanket. The dinner was terrible and very limited selection of food. Breakfast was okay. Do not confuse with the Panoramic Hotel in Taormina, which is way better.

No parking. Next to a demolished building. Cheap and tasteless decoration. Our room had two holes through which the airconditionaire came out, and no cold air did come out.
We went on a family vacation thinking the hotel would be to our standards and saw ourselves in a hotel that wasn’t portrayed like that to us by their website.
Moreover, even though the hotel is situated in front of the beach, something they don’t notice you with is the horrible noise the discos make every night.
Overall, the hotel is out of date and the location seems to be ideal but the noise isn’t worth it. It was far too expensive for what the hotel had to offer. The only thing of our liking was the service.
But the hotel isn’t worthy of the four stars that they say they have AT ALL.
