This is absolutely the best of the best of the best hotels. Run with love and passion by third and fourth generation hoteliers who have and show pride in everything they do. The staff is part of a large family and they really do make you feel so warm and welcome. It is always sad to leave. My one complaint.....the towels are so large and plush that they do not fit in your suitcase! That is a joke by the way.

A truly lovely experience in Monza.
Superb decorations, excellent staff, amazing breakfast, and plenty of options for all the tastes.
The hotel is located a few minutes from the centre of Monza by bus, and more or less 15 minutes walking.
There is also a bus (public service) that from the hotel can drop you in the north of Milano, in nearly 30 minutes.
The rooms are decorated with an "antique" style that gives a very warm feeling to the customer.
A must stop to enjoy your stay in Monza!

Everything was just perfect - all of it. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff & service is exceptional, the rooms lovely & the breakfast amazing; location & vibe is so magnificent. ps. Totally stunning interior ;) !

Clean, comfortable And hospitality was at it best! We had an amazing dinner at the place while staying there. 10/10 overall for both.

The location of the hotel is about 10 minutes from the center. But the area is too quite and luxurious.

This hotel is really one of a kind, it has its personality, and in a best way sharing the charm of Monza and opens a gate to Milano. The location in front of the museum and the royal residence adds to a feeling. But the interior is really something one should see, not to be described. On top of that it is one of the best restaurant inside and the service is very good and friendly , feels like at home. I am in love with this hotel and hope others can also enjoy it
Just to add a small secret: the best paintings of the castle / residence are in the lobby of this hotel

We loved the period furnishings of our room! It was like a movie set, with paintings on the wall, a vanity, a huge bathroom with tub, and sculptural lamps. We were upgraded to a suite (thank you!) in the building next to the main hotel. There was a huge balcony, and the room was totally silent, as it faced the back. We were there on an exceptionally warm weekend, and the city (as I understand it) would not permit air conditioning yet. The staff brought a fan to the room for us, and then the temperature was great. Breakfast was wonderful. Such a treat to be able to order a full English breakfast (as not much on all those white bread carbs).

My big suggestion for the hotel would be that they have some Italian movies (with optional subtitles) for guests to borrow and watch on the DVD player included in the room. That would have been so fun!

The location is nice across from the park, not downtown. You can take a bus a downtown or to the train station fairly easily, as the bus stop is out front.

I should also add that we took the train to Lake Como for the day and were glad we stayed in Monza rather than anywhere around Como. About an hour on the train, and nice not to be hauling luggage up to Como and dragging it through little streets like other tourists. The Saturday train was PACKED, and so we went on a Monday which was perfect.
