I had an excellent stay! The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail, from the soft lighting to the high-quality bathroom. Housekeeping kept everything immaculate throughout my visit.
The view from the window was a lovely surprise, and the room was quiet, making it easy to relax and unwind. The Wi-Fi was fast, the air-conditioning worked perfectly, and the in-room coffee station was a great touch.
Let’s not forget the perfect receptionists, they were helpful, friendly and displayed great hospitality. Dinner was immaculate I still can’t get over that, it was like dining in a 5 star restaurant!!
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. I felt genuinely taken care of, and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Very good 4-star hotel with a breathtaking view over the bay of Napoli. Clean rooms, overall nice front desk staff, efficient housekeeping team and a good breakfast buffet. They have a wonderful rooftop terrace with a good restaurant too. Thumbs up to Alessandro, one of the waiters there, who was outstanding!

Had a great stay at Hotel Paradiso! Hotel was nice, clean, comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. We were given an upgraded room with a view that had a great look to the harbor in Naples and the reservation only plunge pool is a nice treat, though not heated. I will say it is not really in a walking area. We walked down the hill and into town one day, but it would be a long haul to go back so taxi/bus is needed. Overall a nice stay and the buffet breakfast offered is well priced and good quality!

Absolutely terrible stay here. In the name of balance I'll say that the views here (from the restaurant at least) are beautiful. And the plunge pool, if you book it early enough in the day, is also nice and private. But that's where the good stuff ends. The staff here are mostly rude and abrupt, barely understand English, and made me and my husband distinctly uncomfortable the entire stay. It is a cheap trick to call this hotel four star - only the lobby and the views are four star, the rooms are basic at best, think Travel Lodge, with only the scarcest of amenities. We were only given one teaspoon every single day, I'm not kidding, and our shower leaked the bathroom out every single day. It takes the rotten biscuit to have to pay a higher rate in room tax for a four star hotel and get what is definitely not a four star room.
Our room faced onto a railing and a wall, and with it being under the restaurant, there was noise all hours of the day and night. In addition, the lighting was terrible, it felt like night all the time, and with it facing onto the main street, we couldn't have the curtains open without sacrificing privacy.
The food situation was a nightmare. The website is misleading, saying it serves a variety of meals - it actually serves ninety five percent seafood, which I cannot eat for health reasons. When we asked the hotel if they could put together a simple pasta dish, or anything else, all they could stretch to was offering some ham and cheese, which is not a meal! In addition, they serve the same menu every single night, and even the lunch time menu is the same as the dinner menu. The breakfast buffet is easily the worst I've ever had in any hotel. The meats and cheeses are the thin cheap stuff you'd feel bad giving to the dog, never mind a person, they don't even have orange juice, and they only serve some hot tiny cocktail sausages and scrambled eggs in the way of hot food. The coffees and hot chocolates are filtered - we paid ten euros for two very unpleasant hot chocolates on the first day and never made the same mistake again.
I've got to say, beauty in no way makes up for the multitude of sins this hotel is guilty of. It's a hundred percent revenue over quality and comfort of guests, and it shows.
I can only imagine all the five star reviews are from people the hotel knows, since they all happen, conveniently, to be fellow Italians rather than tourists - perhaps the staff can only stretch to friendliness with other Italians?
This hotel is not worth the cost, don't be deceived. We also thought the bad reviewers must've been exaggerating before we came here, and found out the hard way that they were a hundred percent right.
The hotel is up a massive hill and hard to get anywhere, even the nearest shop is a half hour walk away. Like I said, all you can count on is the view, and it's not enough for a good time, especially if you're staying for more than a weekend.

Very Disappointing Stay
We chose this hotel mainly for the mini pool/jacuzzi, but were never told in advance that it required a booking. By the time we arrived, it was fully booked, so we couldn't use it at all, a huge letdown since it was the main reason we booked here.
The only positive was the nice view. We also had an issue with the AC in our room, so we had to move to another room. The breakfast was very average, and the room lighting was poor, making it feel dim.
Overall, this was not the experience we expected and definitely not worth the price.

Great hotel, amazing views, and great staff who are willing to help with anything. we had a problem with the plumbing, and they moved us to a better room, no questions asked

Hygiene: a little gray
Environment: Nice view but too far from the airport, high-speed rail station, and downtown shopping
Service: Although I am not satisfied with this hotel, the attitude of the staff is quite good
Facilities: Fall asleep with moonlight on your face at night. Please see the picture. It feels like my grandma's house when I was a child. There were no blackout curtains in that era. You woke up when it got light in the morning. There is a blackout board outside the balcony, but it can't be removed at all
The room is very small. It can be said that it feels like a Japanese hotel, but it is too old and the room is terrible. I won't take pictures to avoid wasting my phone memory

I booked this hotel because the room has a very good view. I was really touched when I arrived... But if you want to visit the city of Napoli, it is still a little far from the city. Because we took 4 trains from Napoli Central Station to here, and caught up with the strike on Sunday or the cable car was closed, we climbed a long mountain road to arrive. The hotel's breakfast is 8 euros per person, and you can choose it yourself... Because we are going to Pompeii the next day, the station here Mergellina has a direct train to Pompeii, which is very convenient without transfer. The hotel also has a very good restaurant. In short, the scenery of the hotel is really nothing to say, the room is not big, but it is enough. When checking out, I took a taxi from the taxi point at the entrance of the hotel to mergellina station. The driver asked us for 10 euros. I don’t know if it’s expensive or normal. After all, it took us nearly 20 minutes to climb up😹😻😹

The hotel did not have a nice look and the servers there are not good I paid 120 euros for a chicken coop and that is certainly not the intention so I advise not to go there.

The view from the hotel overlooking the bay was stunning. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They gave us useful info about the cable car service which saved us money on taxis. They also gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was decent. Personally, it was hard for me as I am vegan but upon request they whipped up some roast potatoes. Other than that not many options. The rooms themselves were modern, clean but very small. There were three of us crammed in a tiny room with an even tinier a bathroom. All the amenities listed were included (which isn’t the case at 4 star hotels in Italy) with the exception of conditioner and body lotion. Overall, it was a good experience for the price.
