BW Signature Collection Hotel Paradiso

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a horrible experience from start to finish. While the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, everything else was disappointing. The beds were uncomfortable, and to make things worse, I woke up with bites on my legs—probably from bedbugs. The sheets had stains, which is completely unacceptable.

The towels were no better—old, frayed, and stained. It’s shocking that a hotel would even think this is acceptable for their guests.

The hotel is far from the center, making it inconvenient, and the pool has restricted hours, so you can’t use it whenever you want. On top of that, you have to make an appointment just to use the pool.

The restaurant experience was just as bad. The staff was incredibly rude, particularly the older gentleman with gray hair, who seemed to be the manager. The posted restaurant hours were also misleading—they closed earlier than advertised, which was frustrating and confusing for guests.

Overall, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere—there are far better options available.

This is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe 3 stars at best. Great views of Naples bay and mount Vesuvius. That is the highlight. Room was pleasant enough but pretty basic. No views of Naples bay as we requested, but some dreary courtyard at the back.The hotel is quite dated and it shows in areas. Especially the restaurant, check out the worn dirty carpet tiles. I found the staff unhelpful and rude most of the time. There were a few exceptions. I don’t think the staff are very happy and they are in dire need of customer service training. The restaurant in the evening is barely open and has very restrictive hours. Probably the worst selection of breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. Some very bizarre food choices. Most odd, and not good. Really, really poor. It was also extremely noisy in the hotel, the noise was unbelievable. The staff seem to make a lot of noise with no consideration for the guests. This happened most nights and late at night. Location wise you are right up on the hill and not that close to Naples centre. A taxi rank outside the hotel is useful and is about €12 to the centre. You can take the vernacular which is like a tram but underground as it’s very steep. Overall, very disappointing and I certainly wouldn’t go back. Apparently Maradona stayed here back in it’s heyday.
