Great hotel … love it … very friendly staff and very  … professional hospitality

We had a wonderful week stay at the Royal sanremo hotel. We enjoyed the classic old charm of the hotel, the stunning view and heated swimming pool designed by gio ponti. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The rooms were impeccably clean while preserving the timeless atmosphere of an iconic hotel.

A great location yes. Walls in the room (at least my room) was thinner than wallpaper, you could hear the whispering in the next room and alley. Moreover, why charge extra for everything? Extra charge on the beach? No ironing self service? I have to use the very expensive laundry service? Way overpriced food too. Definitely do not recommend it for this price.

Very nice hotel, excellent position in Sanremo, just 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Swimming pool very nice and clean. You pay 20 euro / daily for a sun bed, but the organization of the pool services (bar and service) justifies the price

Overnight stay (31/05/25) Driving back to London I asked for a car parking space, which wasn't guaranteed, but I did say I am travelling from London and wanted my vehicle to be secure. Need major renovations but the staff is very friendly and the location is optimal. Sanremo doesn’t have nice beaches but the city center is nice to visit.

Fantastic location. Hotel is faded glamour and is tired. Room nice, view fabulous, air con brilliant, shower 🚿 no water pressure. Breakfast OK. Pool is really lovely. Staff nice. They need to sort the sunbed issue. 10 euros per day is not a solution to not enough sunbeds. Beach is 3 min walk and is very commercialised in San remo. We'd stay again tho.

Great friendly personnel. Close to beach. But rooms smell bad, lots of noice every morning and you have to pay 10€ per sun chair at the pool even though you stay at the hotel…

What must have been a grand Hotel in times gone by, it is now very tired and in need of renovation. A short walk to the beach, it is well situated but not a place I would rush back to.

Nice room yet particularly unfrendly/unhelpfull/unprofessional staff at the desk. Check in was a total disaster (zero eye contact, not even a hello or smile: plus zero information regarding the hotel facilities). And check out was worse. Heat/AC did not work in our room, electricity in our room cut out frequently shutting down the lighting? Breakfasts were great. Room was very tight, not much room to move around, no chair to sit in, closet is tiny, bathroom was good. Rooms were kept clean, fresh towels provided daily.

Our vacation was simply fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished. The central location of the hotel was another plus point, as we could easily walk to many restaurants and private beaches. We are already looking forward to staying here again on our next vacation!

We arrived at 21:50 without reservation, the woman at the reception desk was extremely hospitable and even offered us to choose between rooms. The hotel has gotten a little old but bathrooms are impeccable and the requested prices (April 11th 2024) was more than adequate.

Rooms overall were pretty good, just pretty dated, could use a bit of a renovation. Balcony (6th floor) was really great, big and awesome view. Breakfast was ok, coffee pretty good and staff was really friendly. Parking was also nice, pretty protected behind the hotel and most of the day in the shade.

The staff are nice, the room was located towards the back of the hotel and nice and quiet. Only downside was that The room didn’t have a kettle or a duvet/comforter as it did get a little chilly in the evening.

The hotel is located on the edge of the city center, making it easy to get to everything. However, it's not exactly in the center. Parking is limited, but you can park for free on the street.

A beautiful hotel that is sits in a lovely location. It is only a very short walk to the, shops , bars etc. The pool area is very relaxing . I have stayed here 6 times as it is a well run hotel and the staff take great pride in their work.

We enjoyed our couple of nights in this rather grand hotel. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. A wonderful dining room with amazing views. Excellent breakfast with a fantastic choice. Spacious room with great bed. One minor complaint was regarding the water from the shower seeping out to the shower room floor which was a concern re slipping.

We have just had another wonderful short stay at the Hotel Belsoggiorno ! Maria and Matteo are always welcoming , friendly and helpful, as are all the staff . It is a traditional family run hotel with excellent breakfasts and dinners , and typical Ligurian food. Nothing is too much trouble , and a stay at this hotel is very relaxing. We will be back !

Not sure what to expect but was surprised to find the room clean. Fresh towels and immaculate toilet. My balcony gave me a brilliant view of the sea. Stunning view really. The staff here are courteous and always ready to help. I will surely come again soon.

Excellent hotel practically in the center, very convenient location. The atmosphere is slightly retro but very elegant, every space is very clean with an intense scent of fresh flowers. They are only a 3 star hotel, but in my books they deserve 5. Ok, some of the rooms are a bit tired, but they are clean. The pool is well looked after. But the food!!!
