Hotel Club - Sorrento in Sant'Agnello

This is a family-owned hotel, and the service really stood out. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. They went out of their way to accommodate a gluten-free breakfast, and any time we asked for extra towels or toilet paper, they provided them right away. Our room was also kept clean throughout the stay, which we appreciated.

On the other hand, there were some downsides. The Wi-Fi was quite weak, and cell service in the area wasn’t much better. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable, though they were usable. The sink tended to spray water when turned on, the safe didn’t come with a key, and the mini fridge wasn’t cold, even though it was turned on.

As for the location, the hotel is about a 30-minute walk from the center of Sorrento, which may be fine for some but worth keeping in mind. Very close to St. Agnello station.

Overall, I’d say the hotel delivers great service and cleanliness, but some of the amenities could use improvement. I’m not saying you should or shouldn’t stay here, just sharing the details of my experience so you can decide what matters most to you.

Amazing stay at this hotel. I stayed here in 2023 for one week and again, this year (2025) for another week.
It is a family run welcoming hotel. The service is great, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is good and accommodating if you have dietary needs.
The pool is great.
30 minute walk into Sorrento, although round the corner there is a train that takes you there in 2 minutes.
Highly recommend, and will be back again!

We stayed at Hotel Club Sorrento for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean and the food was varied, nicely cooked and presented. They have a beautiful terrace and pool and the view from the top is wonderful. It is very nicely situated with bus stops and train station minutes away. We would highly recommend this hotel and definitely would go back.

Very welcoming the staff could not do enough including dropping off and picking up at the pick up point which was 5 minutes from the hotel. The rooms and hotel very clean, spotless, the staff never stop cleaning and the rooms have everything you need including a safe and fridge. Private balcony with views across the swimming pool and garden. Breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold options, and evening meal a basic choice pre ordered at breakfast time but cannot complain about the quality of food, and service outstanding by both Francos, lovely old school waiters who know how to please. Location good, 5 minutes from rail station, bars, cafes and local shops, 20 minutes walk into Sorrento main town.

We had a room for 3 as I was travelling alone with 2 teenagers. The room was compact but had everything we needed, though the balcony only had 2 chairs and wouldn’t have had space for 3.
Location was good, 20-30 minutes walk to Sorrento but in an area that had bars and cafes within a 2 minute walk. The station was less than 5 minutes away. Trains ran very close to the hotel - we could see them from our balcony and from the pool but they didn’t bother us at all.
Pool area was nice and generally very quiet - we spent an hour or two there at a time and often had it to ourselves.
Hotel staff were brilliant, very helpful and friendly. The food was good and restaurant staff attentive.

An excellent, family run hotel. Located just off the main street, and therefore remarkably quiet despite being a stone's throw from the town square, with a range of useful shops ( grocers, tobacconist, pharmacy, laundrette) a short walk away. Sorrento itself is just about walking distance too, or about 5 minutes by taxi if you're lucky with the traffic. Friendly, personal service and good food. Daily, efficient maid service for a nice, clean room with a balcony. Good swimming pool and pleasant terrace. We both really enjoyed our 10 nights here: highly recommended!

This small hotel was a lovely clean hotel serving a lovely breakfast. Good location just of the main rosd in to Sorrento The best thing though is the lovely welcome we got off this family run hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. They looked after our every need. We would stay here again if we ever go back to sorrento

Great views, good menu and pleasant and efficient service! On a beautiful summer day or evening, you couldn’t pick a more magic location..The menu read well and would please the fussiest diners and the wine selection was adequate and best of all the prices were moderate!
