This hotel will grow on you. My first impressions were that it has once been a very grand hotel with beautiful decor and impressive gardens that now looks a little tired and dated in some places. However, this adds to the charm. It is still grand and it has a lot to offer! Perfect for everyone. The service at the hotel is wonderful. All staff are welcoming and friendly. It’s clear that they love their jobs. It felt like we were back in time with the head waiters in traditional suits escorting us to our table each night. At check in, we were told that we’d be charged if we lost the key and tourist tax needed to be paid the day before leaving. We were given a lot of information and had to sign to confirm all this. The food that was on offer was delicious. I’m normally extremely fussy but had a very full tummy each night. We enjoyed the soups for starter and then had a great choice for mains which was clearly identifiable. The bbq night was our favourite. The pork was the best I’ve ever eaten and I went back for seconds. There was also a choice of ribs, steak and chicken thighs. The pasta was excellent. I sampled lots of it. Breakfast had a variety of food to choose from. I opted for a cooked breakfast and enjoyed toast, scrambled eggs, bacon and mushrooms. There were no beans. The pastry selection was epic. My husband enjoyed those with a fresh coffee each morning. There was also yoghurt and cereals. At the back of the room, chef was cooking pancakes and fresh egg products. Lunch was served in the pool bar. Even though there was a set time with a ‘help yourself’ feel, there was still food to be had after these times. That’s when I had pizza and chips mostly. Ice cream was available at times. Information was displayed around the pool bar. The drinks were plentiful. Soft drinks came from bottles but were all proper brands. There was never a big queue for drinks and staff were efficient n friendly. Plastic cups around the pool in the day and glass at night. We enjoyed lots of cocktails. Some were made better than others. Entertainment was enjoyable at night. There were singers, disco music and dancers by the pool. There were quieter areas for those who prefer the quieter life. It was nice to see families together playing cards etc. I didn’t see any play areas for children. This would be a nice addition as there were lots of families here too. Our room was on the small side but we did book one without a balcony as we weren’t planning on being in it often. I loved that the porters took our cases up to our room which allowed us time to get lunch on arrival. It was a lovely touch. The air con was good, beds were comfy, the bedding was changed regularly and a safe was included. We also had a fridge which was topped up with large bottles of water each day (you could also ask for water at reception). There was a tv but it had no channels of interest to me. WiFi was good so we watched things on our devices when we came back after a busy day. There w

Super hotel handily placed to explore the Amalfi coast and the popular tourist destinations. The food was excellent and varied, with friendly staff. Small queues for food and drink. The food was as good a quality as local restaurants. Always managed to get a sunbed or a deckchair in the afternoon, when arriving back from day trips. The regular free hotel bus into Sorrento was really handy. The hotel is in a quiet location. Easy to walk to the sea where you can hire deckchairs for 5 Euros and swim.

Will write another review once home but wanted to pop on as soon as possible many people slated this hotel. I’ve been here since Friday and honestly the hotel is lovely! I read reviews before I came and panicked but honestly the staff are so lovely, the rooms are big and always cleaned, and there is such a chill vibe! The food is so tasty and lots for fussy children too! One thing I will say is the walls are thin! The people above us are so noisy all night, stomping around and dragging chairs/beds across the floor with no consideration for anyone else but hotel staff happy to help and do their best. So anyone fur to come please don’t worry it’s amazing!

Overall, a good experience. Great food, very friendly and attentive staff, also a lot of nice people at the hotel when we visited. Good access to Sorrento via the free shuttle bus. Room was okay, not quite as good as the photos. Watch out at the pool, can be slippy around the edges, two people we saw ended up with broken bones, but they had been boozing in the pool!

We had such a lovely stay here! All the staff were so friendly and welcoming – from the cleaners and reception team to the bar staff and management. The hotel’s location was perfect, with the option to walk into Sorrento or hop on the free shuttle bus. The food was great, and honestly the best pizza we had on our whole trip was at the hotel. Our room was spacious and kept spotless by the cleaners, who did a fantastic job. Big thanks to Joe and his team behind the bar, and to Hassan the waiter, who were always so friendly and made us feel really welcome. The staff always looked so smart and were professional too. Thanks again for a great stay – we’d definitely come back!

A very pleasant stay in September. The food was a little repetitive but that is not surprising after the pandemic, the quality of the food was excellent and the house wine was the best I have had at an all inclusive resort in Europe. The room itself was clean and comfortable, the bathroom looked like someone had tiled it on an acid trip but that is just a matter of taste. Everything worked. Sorrento itself is a 10-15 minute walk down a busy road, often without a footpath so not suitable for children or perhaps the less able but the hotel itself is lovely, well maintained, with great facilities and fantastic, friendly, helpful and kind staff.

First impressions of this hotel were not great, as it's situated in a very noisy, scruffy little town called Saint Agnello. About 20mins walk from Sorrento. On arrival we were told to have lunch, as our room wasn't ready. Fine lunch was ok,pizza, pasta, some salad (but this gets a bit repetitive after a few days!). On seeing our room, we were not impressed, as it was very small, with no balcony, just a window overlooking a car park. I tried to upgrade, and was willing to pay but apparently they were fully booked. So if you want a balcony, ask for a pool view, otherwise you'll get the constant noise from the road. So, the food! Not bad, very, very repetitive. But usually hot. What I cannot get over is the Buffet/BBQ nights 3 times a week. For this, you HAVE to eat at the pool bar. There is no choice. They even close the other 2 bars so there is nowhere else to go. This is utterly ridiculous! We were sweltering in 35 degree heat, and eating outside wasn't a pleasant experience for a lot of people. You have 2 air conditioned bars, let us use them! Give us a choice! This alone ruined my holiday. Now, the drinks..Ok if you just want local spirits. There is no option to even buy branded spirits. And the "cocktails"? They should be reminded that an "old fashioned", and a "manhattan" contain bourbon, not cheap Italian "whiskey". And the beer in the pool bar gets warmer throughout the day, so by the evening, it's almost warm! The canopies by the pool bar are filthy! Then there's the ridiculous 'Ice cream rule'...but I'll let you find that for yourselves. All in all, it's a 3* trying to be something it isn't. There are a few positives, pool is good, staff friendly, yet extremely overworked. But for us, the negatives outnumbered the positives 10-1. Would I visit Sorrento again? No. And I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone considering it.

It is more convenient to drive by yourself. It is near the center of Sorrento, about 20 minutes walk to the city center. The hotel has a beautiful yard full of lemon trees and a swimming pool that is only open in summer. The room is quite standard, and the breakfast is rich and varied, with a variety of sweet breads! Overall, it is not bad

We visited here just after the pandemic and although there were some restrictions at that time, we had a beautiful holiday. Having returned 3 years later, it’s an entirely different experience. The staff are absolutely fantastic! They really are. The food is good although some of the fresh stuff has been replaced with shop bought alternatives. However the room is horrendous- we’ve had the air con on at 16 for a week and it just blows out warm air— the rooms temp has stayed at 26 all week. No balcony either so only a small window to bring in fresh air. The main issue really though is the music in the pool/bar area. It’s on a cycle of the same songs, on repeat. For example of 90mins, the individual songs played 4 times. It’s akin to torture and would be best used on SAS: who dares wins. What a shame.

We are just returning from A week here , I would certainly return. The food was amazing quality , all fresh home made with so much choice . Fresh pizzas cooked in a wood burning stove straight to our plates . Lots of delicious pasta dishes as well as steaks , ribs, fresh salmon all presented beautifully . If cakes are your thing you’ll be in heaven here 3 times a day . Each mealtime the Maitre ‘d shows you to your table , brings your bottle of water and any drinks you’d like . The dining area is beautifully decorated too , so all in all a lovely experience . We ate out a few times as we did lots of trips and days out but the hotel food was better every time The pool area is nestled in a cove with stunning views and lemon trees everywhere and birdsong as the back drop. Cleaners are in daily , bar staff are friendly . Peroni on fraught with a full cocktail list and good quality spirits . Just a 15 minute stroll into Sorrento , all round perfect place . Oh free shuttle bus in too if you don’t fancy the walk. Met some fabulous people , so we shared great relaxing evenings chatting and drinks in the bar Thanks for the memories xx
