We enjoyed our stay here, right on the water. The rooms were small but that’s to be expected with this location. The pastries were delightful! We also loved the thermal pool and spa. Next time I’d come off season

The pool was beautifully warm and has two jacuzzis as well as sauna, turkish bath etc

Some people have mentioned a bad smell from the pool - we did notice this occasionally (it’s heated by a hot spring so you can smell sulphur) but it was never a problem for us

The negative comments seem to be based on confusion or unrealistic expectations. I could nit-pick and give 4/5 but on balance, the positives outweigh the negatives. The positives: - The location, obviously

The restaurant is fantastic!! To have breakfast overlooking the lake and then go to an old wooden boat lake cruise, have a thermal water swimming in the hotel pool, or an Aperol sunset on the hotel deck is what I call a perfect day end

The building is absolutely stunning! The decor (mixed of art deco and old money castle) is perfect. The rooms are spacious and details such as fine linen sheets and linen hand towels are just other level

The hotel personnel is highly trained to make you stay at home. Sirmione is a high end village perfect for a romantic stay or to enjoy with the family

The old city walls are just steps aways but the property is isolated by a garden so beautiful that you don’t notice the crowed city

The Hotel is located just in the heart of Sirmione, Lake Garda. It is surrounded by the lake due to its exceptional location

edit: I’d like to add that if you don’t care about the wifi signal in your room then it’s one of the best places to stay in Sirmione

A bus trip takes you into Sirmione from stop 2, but can be busy if you leave at peak times of 10ish and return 5ish. Nice pool area and plenty of snack and drink choices

The Positives The hotel is well placed in a quiet spot outside the centre of Sirmione. It is about 30 minutes to walk right into the centre with plenty of shade, and hotels/ bars/ restaurants on route

(We had eaten an omelette on the aircraft on the way in!) The language barrier was such that his basic English and my Italian could not communicate that we understood there would be a separate veggie menu to read from, just as the meat/fish eaters were given, which was on the table

The hotel was immaculately clean and the housekeeping and serving staff were really lovely, especially the evening servers and the chap who ran the bar. All efficient and friendly, working very hard to do a great job

The first evening, there were no vegetarian dishes on the menu apart from a soup. The manager taking the order seemed a little confused by the request, and offered an omelette which we declined

For example, dry lentil balls with no sauce; dry veggie burger (actually it was a soft patty), a veggie strudel thing which was stodgy and the risotto on the final evening had Speck ham in it

Nice staying We had a nice staying. Clean and comfort rooms, gently and nice staff who was serviceminded, good pool, big breakfast, and overall a very nice experience.

Fantastic hotel, from the moment we walked through the door everyone was friendly. The hotel is spotless, lovely breakfast, clean pool. Great location for getting the bus to other areas

We got a large room on the ground floor with two extra beds, easy to put all the suitcases on, the shower was small but wonderfully hard and warm, enough towels

Hotel is great to spend couple of days. The pool is quite big, but too much chlorine. The breakfast is 3/5 (no sparkling water, not many options).

A typical hotel prepared for family stays close to the lake, it was very special to be at the hotel, we were well received and everything was clean. The only thing, however, is the bathroom stall, which is very small.

Location was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and well equipped. Lovely pool area with ample sunbeds. Food in restaurant delicious and good value "meal deal".

The Pool and surrounding area was great with plenty of cover from the Sun if required and also plenty of space for a quiet read. You can also visit the Spa with is pool for some more relaxation if needed

Pool great and plenty of Loungers available with mattresses. Drink service at pool and great food too. Breakfast good choice but did find that if we went down after 9. 30 then there was less available

The waiting staff here were also very helpful and gave any extra help when making your selection. There is also a lunch bar by the pool which was also well supported

It provided drinks during the afternoon after serving some very good light lunches. To finish the Olivi is a super well run hotel in a great location and we have already planned a visit in 2026

Great hotel in a lovely location about a 10 minute walk from the beautiful old town. Rooms clean with mini bar and kettle. We had a second floor room with lake view and it was lovely

This place has my heart! We rebooted three times due to Covid and were welcomed with open arms on the fourth. You could not have nicer people help you. The hotel and pool area is immaculate

We have been coming here for over 20 years and this is the finest hotel in Sirmione for location, amenities and impeccable service. We would recommend it without qualifications

I wait years to come here, read a book, and drink a spritz by Lake Garda, and dine with their fantastic food, great wine selection, and service not seen in many places

It is complicated to arrive with a car, as you have to drive through the center of old Sirmione. But the cars were parked by the staff for us. Also at arrival our baggage was brought to the room for us

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Ocelle Thermae & Spa. The hotel is in a beautiful location on the lake. The rooms are updated and clean, and the spa pools were relaxing

We stayed for four nights and didn’t want to leave! The location on the lake front was perfect and we were lucky enough to have booked a room with a lake view balcony where we wiled away the afternoons listening to the waves

The proximity to the old town was perfect - close enough to be able to walk to the town easily but away from the swathes of tourists! The breakfasts were good and they offered a light dinner menu which was also nice

Breakfast was included and was great with nice selection of food and drinks, including bubbles, in case you want to start early. Wine and deli shops nearby add to the total enjoyment

Amazing Boutique Hotel ! The staff couldn't have been more welcoming, even before we had arrived they were messaging to ensure we had the best start to our honeymoon

The best part was the hotel staff, who were all incredibly helpful and friendly during our stay!

We really enjoyed our week in Blu Lake Sirmione Hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Our bathroom was spacious and modern. Breakfast offered plenty of options, including gluten free

What a wonderful week we spent in this beautiful hotel. The pool is heated and just perfect for a young family. It is surrounded by restaurants in the area that are all reachable by either bike/ short walk

Great hotel in a great location. Nice shower in the room and bathroom amenities. I really liked the SPA, which is included in the price. But! At night, they cleaned up the trash under the windows at 5 am

The hotel's hot spring swimming pool is great. It's very convenient to reserve the parking lot in advance. The hotel is right by the lake, the castle is very close to the hotel, and the central location is very good

The location is right in front of Sirmione, and you can see the lake from the hotel terrace. It was really nice that it even had a spa.

Stayed 3 nights as part of a birthday trip around northern Italy. Room was ready for us when we arrived around 1430, we stayed in the newer block with a view of the pool and lake

We enjoyed the hotel amenities for a weekend, with the suite terrasse whirlpool, very healty food at the Vista restaurant inside the hotel, exceptional breakfast. Lake view is exceptional at the sunset

Hotel Flaminia has the perfect location right on the water in the most beautiful town in Lake Garda. Superb service and problem resolution. Extremely welcoming, immaculate service oriented property. Bravo!!

This is a charming hotel right on the lake. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and bright, with a beautiful lake view. Breakfast at the hotel was very good, with variety of options

Great hotel right on the water. food is very good and you are in the heart of Sirmione. You can easily organise car parking and then there is an easy shuttle service to the hotel. Breakfast buffet was incredible

We were given a relatively new room with a small balcony. The room was spacious and very satisfying! The hotel is close to the castle and bus station. The staff helped with the luggage.

Perfect base to explore Sirmione and Lake Garda, or just use as a resort. Good location, perfect views, stylish and very well appointed room, excellent bar, terrace and sun deck. But most fantastic were the team!

We spent 14 wonderful days at Hotel Eden, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The location is absolutely perfect – right on the lake and in the heart of Sirmione’s charming old town

Beautiful lake front terrace with direct access to open water swimming in the lake. Staff very nice, ideal for ferry terminal. We’ve particularly enjoyed watching the ferry’s come and go

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The lake view was, of course, exceptional. The breakfast was fully delightful, with quality offerings of all sorts

Despite being so central, the hotel offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Everything is spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully arranged

Stayed here a couple of times in a family room in July. Nice small friendly hotel with a resident cat. The swimming pool is massive, not so many chairs/umberellas but we always seemed to find some one spare

We asked if we could stay at the pool area for a while, and it was no problem at all, and we could just let the car stay at the parking if we went down in the town area

Charming little hotel. They have good breakfast, very helpful staff, and a terrific pool. It's located relatively close to the beach, which is lovely.

We only stayed one night, but we're definitely gonna return. Small older beautiful boutique hotel, with a great atmosphere. I do not mind at all that the rooms are "outdated", gives so much soul to the place

However, a little cramp even for me (5'8"), as I turn to close the bedroom door, I would bang my elbow into the hallway closest doors. If I were to come back, I'd definitely have this place in mind

Perfect location, right between the shops and restaurants, with the beaches to the other side. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Rooms are clean with minor aesthetic scuffs

Fantastic hotel perfect location right at Jamaica beach, wonderful staff, very reasonable prices on food and wine, restaurant does the nicest Caesar salad in the world, will definitely be back, there is also a little tram that takes you down to Sirmione center for a euro, brilliant place to visit

No frills hotel but perfect location with a pool and private access to the beach. The rooms were clean, the front desk service helpful and accommodating, and lunch and dinner at the hotel were quite good

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was exceptional, being close to Lido Beach and the city center. The view from the hotel was stunning, and it provided a serene atmosphere

Fab position - So close to Sirmione old town -the thermal pool was brilliant- The lady on reception was fabulous, so welcoming and professional

And the hotel thermal pool is wonderful; the outside bathing in winter when you can look at the snow caps on Dolomites was a great experience for us. We were very satisfied and absolutely recommend this hotel

I give the full rating although not everything is perfect. The "cheaper" rooms are really small as well as their beds; the breakfasts could provide some more choice; wifi is available only in the reception area

Great location before the castle The location is excellent. If you want to see the Castle and other excursion. Plus it’s next to marina for various boat tours. Shops and restraints walkable distance

But, you get a huge value for every penny spent here. The hotel stuff is very professional and helpful, parking on site is included, the location is a few steps to the historic center of Sirmione

The room was OK, with a large balcony with a view, but it was shared with 2 other rooms. The facilities were OK, but the toilet smelled. The hotel elevator was terrible. There were also bicycles for rent

Hotel with excellent value for money, friendly and helpful service, great breakfast and a very quiet and pleasant pool. To me it seems more like a 4 star hotel than a 3.

Location is great just beside the bus stop into centro storico. Pool area was fab , clean plenty of sun loungers, lovely and quiet just blissful

Nice hotel located quite close to the «new» town of Sirmione. Positive experiences: The hotel offers a big swimming pool with plenty of sun beds avaliable. There is a bar/restaurant avaliable in the hotel/pool area

This is not a boutique hotel it's a friendly tidy hotel with easy access to swim in a lake and see ducks. The food is beautiful, both at lunchtime and dinner, and the kiosk outside is an asset

Shame the pool is not on the lake side and is situated in front of the road (blocked off with fencing but not very appealing) as it’s a great size

Stayed twice and would go back again. Confused by some of the reviews. We have always booked and paid for a room of the level we require. If you pay for an economy room you will get one

We had a wonderful stay: the staff were excellent, breakfast was plentiful, the rooms spotless, the cleaning ladies kind, and the pool was cleaned every morning

But once you read through them carefully, you realize how petty some people can be—complaining about ducks strolling across the beautiful lawn of the calm and clean private beach, or that the breakfast cappuccino wasn’t foamy enough

The lakeside views and double rooms are clean and minimalist and do exactly what you want from a hotel room. The staff, even at the end of a very busy season, were helpful, polite and kind

Plenty of umbrellas at the pool. The whole location is very neat, from the green grass on the football field to the beautiful flowers in the gardens

-| Limited kitchen facilities (crockery, cutlery, pans), coffee maker had to be pressed 5 times, dishwasher is quite small, fridge is a bit small, freezer compartment in the fridge does not work

One table too few in the house. But this is fine to live with. We really had a great holiday, thanks Theo!

The pool is great, spacious and cool, and the whole hotel has a very chilled vibe and you can easily spend the whole day relaxing

The hotel is a fair walk to the castle but it is along the side of Lake Garda and extremely pleasant, but you can also catch a bus at the top of the road or find one of the local cabs in the taxi rank

We have just returned from a 4 night stay. Hotel is a lovely boutique style, rooms are clean and well kept, 5 minutes walk from the lake. The old town is 10 minutes drive, and we'll worth a visit

Our room was above the main entrance, overall it was quiet, my husband did find the bed very hard and uncomfortable, but mattresses are a matter of preference

I honestly can't credit the staff enough, they are all absolutely beautiful, incredible people - who make fabulous cocktails & coffee!! We've made good use of both bars, which are excellent value for money

There's also cards, chess and draughts available to play in the bar, and ping pong, table football downstairs in the garage - so even on the rainy days you're not short of entertainment

Lovely and quiet but 5 mins walk from busy centre. Old fashioned style (in a good way), nice lounge area and outside eating areas. Pier onto lake very busy with only space to sit/lie for a few people, but nice idea

Hotel Serenella exceeded all expectations. This is the second visit I have made and this time stayed in the Bizet Suite, which was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully renovated

The staff were exceptional—friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch by remembering my previous stay in 2022. Hotel Serenella is the ideal choice for comfort, tranquillity, and warm hospitality

Lovely staff serving quickly and all food fresh and tasty. NB the fruit salads are HUGE so we shared one. Pool area isn't big but there is a jetty 5 min walk away with loungers and parasols which we preferred

The hotel’s location, slightly removed from the main centre, offers a peaceful atmosphere while still being convenient for exploring Sirmione

The private balcony provided a lovely space to relax. Breakfast was a standout experience, with meals freshly prepared based on pre-orders

I travel every week and this was Simply the best hotel I have ever stayed at. 5 Stars. The staff were a 10, each and every one of them. The restaurant was out of this world and the best I have ever had.

The most beautiful room I have ever stayed in. The decoration is very beautiful. Outside the balcony is the very clean Lake Garda. Unfortunately, the weather is bad. It should be more suitable in summer

Gorgeous property and immaculate and beautiful room. The restaurant was sumptuous! The staff was so helpful and friendly and kind. I highly recommend the Relais la Speranzina

Please note that there will be some small Oh, don't leave the balcony door open all the time, and have a great breakfast

Must understand tho this is not a big international hotel, very personalised however have to find the people to talk to
