Hotel Eden

We stayed last year and our stay was excellent. Our room was upgraded when we arrived, so we ended up with a large balcony too. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and restored daily. The hosts offered to arrange us tours and restaurant reservation, but we respectfully declined this offer and there was no rudeness as others have stated. We gave them respect, and they gave us respect in turn. They were friendly and courteous to us our entire stay. The location is also excellent. This is not a hotel for you to spend all of your day lounging around if that is what you are looking for. It is an excellent home base directly in the heart of Sorrento with access to everything. The owner greeted us on arrival and was kind and a gentleman, as were the rest of his family. The breakfast is simple and we never left hungry. I can see other guests have rated this place much lower and I cannot speak for their personal experience. But I wanted to share mine because I believe this hotel is run by honest and hardworking Italians who deserve better reviews.

Such friendly and welcoming staff who are more than happy to share their knowledge of the area. Rooms are modern and clean. Hotel is in a great central location and has a lovely cold, deep pool. Would certainly recommend!

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Sorrento, couldn't get any closer to the hustle and bustle, but set back and away from noise. The room was very clean and modern with a huge terrace. One of the staff called Michael was extremely helpful. He gave us loads of advice about local transport, trains to Pompeii and cheaper options to visit Capri. He was always ready to help and made our visit all the more enjoyable.
The only downside was breakfast was a bit lacking, and the coffee machine needs throwing out - this is Italy, serve me espresso in the morning! The only option is to go off site for a breakfast coffee as I was not allowed to get a cappuccino/espresso from the bar when breakfast was being served... But there are plenty of options right next door. Improve your coffee game and this hotel, is a winner, everything else was great.

We’ve just finished a week here and it was great, was clean & presentable hotel, maintained well, small pool. Absolute prime location , great value for the location too. Staff friendly and breakfast was okay, nothing special by any means but it was sufficiently okay. We had a balcony view out to sea, was great view in the morning being on the top floor! Bellissimo

The staff were so kind and helped with airport transfer and recommendations. The location is FANTASTIC! The main road and ferry port were so close. We stayed for 3 nights, with a plan to be out most of the time. We therefore did not have meals or swim at the hotel. I would stay this a great 3 star hotel and great for a short stay.

Overall fantastic stay at Eden, staff very friendly, grounds lovely, rooms spacious and beds nice and big. Staff most welcome on arrival even bringing our bags up to us. Nothing to big of an ask.
Gardens made you feel in the heart of Italy. Pool area small but peaceful and clean.
Hotel cat a hit with the kids.
A short walk from the main town for shops and bars.
Overall excellent stay at Eden hotel.

The reception was so friendly and kind. The location is perfect. 7 minute walk to the railway station and 2 minute walk to the centre. Great option with accessible price.

Hotel Eden is a family operated gem of Sorrento. We stayed here for 4 nights and it was the highlight of our Italy trip. The grounds were beautiful with lush natural greenery. The pool area was quaint and relaxing. Our rooms were both very nice and included a spacious deck (only available on the floor 1, higher floors had small balconies). The staff were all very accommodating, friendly, and quick with recommendations on places to visit in Sorrento. Lastly the location was very central to the train station, port and Sorrento shopping. There is even a secret entrance that steps out onto the main shopping avenue of Sorrento. I highly recommend Hotel Eden to anyone looking to relax on a trip to Sorrento.
