Hotel Grotta Di Tiberio

This is a gorgeous, quaint Italian hotel that is frequented by many Italians. It is a simple, safe walk to the beach or to the historic center of Sperlonga. The entire area is more popular with Italians which should be a good reason to visit. The pool also was a great place for children and adults to relax. The restaurant below serves a wonderful breakfast and in the evening we watched calcio and enjoyed vino della casa which was a wonderful moscato that was very affordable (6 euro a glass). This will be a chance to practice your Italian since it is a local place and they speak some English, but try to enjoy Italian culture and language.

Lovely hotel. Clean, friendly service. Possibly a little sedate/quiet for us. Breakfast was great- good choice. Food was nice, but unless you wanted a full 3 course menu… a little expensive. Probably better for couples. Location was a bit out of main Sperlonga and a walk from the bus stop. Super taxi service back to the station from the hotel.

Lovely stay! The staff allowed our son to take a swim when we went there for lunch. We ended up staying one night and we were treated very well.

Wow is all we can say. This hotel went above and beyond all of our expectations. The staff was SO welcoming and friendly. The breakfast in the morning was also one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had being in Italy. We had all our needs met. Room was great with a beautiful view of the town of Sperlonga from an outside terrace. The location is great. About a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk into town. The views were stunning. You could see the water and town from your room. We cannot recommend this hotel more if youre looking for a nice getaway.

A nice place!

The hotel is in an excellent position, I would say the best in Sperlonga, the visibility of the sign should only be improved, as, even with gps, the entrance can only be discovered at the last moment. So go slow and don't care about the stressed-out motorist following you by honking.
The rooms are very comfortable and the ensemble is pleasant with a splendid pamorama. Good value for money.
If not essential, I recommend not having dinner in the adjoining high-level restaurant: fixed menu without choice 35 euros, very expensive à la carte menu. In the village there are many places where you spend less with a wide choice of dishes.
Finally, I thank Mr. Nando for his precious advice, his kindness and his availability.

Numerous rooms have direct access to the lawn with a sitting area in front of the room and sun loungers available for sunbathing in a more secluded way, in addition to the well-kept swimming pool.
Access to the sea within walking distance with equipped and free beaches.
10 min on foot and you arrive in Sperlonga. Convenient parking, super friendly restaurant staff available for any changes to the menu or special needs.
There is also a chef for breakfast.
The buffet is full of cold cuts, cheeses, bacon, eggs, homemade cakes, jams, fresh fruit salad, homemade bread, toast, small and soft sandwiches, croissants, fresh juices, yogurt, cereals and much more!
