Grand Hotel Oriente

I recently stayed at this hotel for three nights, and it was an overall delightful experience. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions and enjoy a variety of dining options. The hotel itself has a wonderful historic charm, with beautiful architecture and decor that transports you back in time.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and was tidied up every day, which we really appreciated after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide range of delicious options that catered to different tastes.

If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the elevator, which felt a bit dated and could use some modernization. However, this was a minor inconvenience and didn't detract from the overall experience.

All in all, this hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of the city, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a blend of comfort, history, and convenience.

It was a pleasure to stay at Grand Hotel Oriente. From the time we checked in until check out we had nothing but a positive experience. Every member of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room and the entire hotel was immaculately maintained. In addition, the restaurant and roof top bar serve excellent food and drinks all while enjoying beautiful views of Naples. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Our suite was beautiful and included a nice balcony that looked onto a side street. These were luxury accommodations that did not disappoint. Location of the hotel is perfect for getting around Napoli. We received excellent service from the front desk staff - especially Ruben and Flavia who gave us excellent directions and great recommendations for site and restaurants. Additionally, we arrived at 10 am and we got into our room right away - there was no delay. We couldn't be happier with our stay.

Great location right near via Toledo. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was nice and good.
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was very good.

The hotel was clean overall, but found dust on the floor. There were stains on some of the furnitures.

A wonderful place to stay. If you have a chance to meet Anna and Paola at the bar, they were very accommodating and helpful. Great people, great personalities and represented the hotel and Napoli well. The location of the hotel made it easy to walk to anywhere we wanted to go to. The rest of the staff was also very helpful and friendly.

A wonderful hotel within walking distance to most sightseeing areas. Centrally located to a great choice of restaurants and shopping. The staff here at the hotel are amazingly nice. The breakfast choice is unbelievable & tasty. Rooms are lovely and clean & gets cleaned every day. All in All a heavenly place. If anything, the only thing missing was a pool, but that didn't concern us at all. I would definitely recommend this hidden gem. ♥️

This hotel might be the nicest in all of Naples! Our first time to Italy but we cannot imagine a nicer place with better service! The complimentary breakfast was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! As soon as we arrived, a bellman helped us with our bags to the front desk and walked us to our room and explained how lights, AC and tv work. The room was stylish and so comfortable and quiet! We had a balcony room right on a busy street and only ever heard ambulances from time to time. The rooftop bar was so gorgeous! I wouldn’t suggest anyone stay at any other hotel than this one while in Naples!!!

The hotel was well above my expectations. This was our first time to Italy. Very clean, staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and spoke very good English. Upon arriving, everything in the area was briefly explained and we received a map with recommendations tailored to our tastes. The room was very comfortable and the minibar was stocked with complimentary sparking and mineral water daily. The buffet breakfast was included and way beyond my tiny continental breakfast notions. Full buffet included fresh pastries and bakery items, eggs, sausage, bacon, luncheon meats and cheeses, fresh fruits, yogurt bar, honey on the comb, packaged biscuits, cereals and toasts to grab on the go, waters and juices and coffee to order. The only possible complaint is that I never figured out how to work the ac. Not a huge problem in early April, but later in the year I definitely would have remembered to ask. If the streets were less noisy at night, the door to the balcony could be open to let air in, but the streets can be very noisy from late night activities. The closed door keeps the noise out. I’m sure if I had asked, they would have showed me how to set the air conditioning as needed, I never thought of it when I was in the lobby or felt the need to call about it. Very happy with our stay.
