This little gem is in a great location! Less than a 5 minute walk to the Termini train station yet on a quiet side street away from the hustle and bustle of the traffic and street noise. The rooms are lovely with complimentary soaps, shampoo, etc. The hotel staff are friendly and very accommodating. Steps away are many fine dining restaurants with very reasonable prices. I would definitely stay here if and when I return. 🙂

It is a rare hotel that I found by chance while drowning in thousands of accommodation alternatives in Rome, which impresses with its performance for its price and meets all the necessary needs.

We were very pleased with the distance to Termini, the many eating/drinking alternatives around and the convenient distance (walking/public transportation) to the city attractions.
The staff was very attentive and friendly, we had no problems. The rooms were clean and adequate.

Grazie!

- Location is great since it is so close to the Roma Termini.

- Room was TINY. We couldn't open up our luggage in the room without moving their furniture around.
There were no table in the room. Just a little cabinet thinie about the size of a backpack.
Bathroom was alright. Separate shower and toilet.
There was no air conditioning in the room. It's centralised, and they don't turn it on in a 27-8 deg April. To avoid the stuffy air in the room we were suggested to open up the window. Which was an challenge to open for us non-European travelers.
It would have been tolerable if not for a garbage truck to make loud screeching noises with its compressor late at night, less than 100 meters away from our first floor room.

Augusta Lucilla Palace Roma: A Charming Stay in the Heart of Rome

My recent stay at the Augusta Lucilla Palace Roma was nothing short of delightful. This charming hotel, nestled in a prime location, offered a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and convenience.

The hotel's interior is beautifully decorated, with a classic Italian aesthetic that exudes warmth and sophistication. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean. The comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the city.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's excellent location. It's within walking distance of many of Rome's major attractions, including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Trevi Fountain. This made it easy to explore the city at my own pace.

The staff at Augusta Lucilla Palace Roma were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always willing to assist with recommendations for restaurants, attractions, or transportation. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home.

While the hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, there are numerous excellent dining options nearby. The hotel's concierge service can help you make reservations or recommend places to eat based on your preferences.

Overall, my stay at Augusta Lucilla Palace Roma was a wonderful experience. The hotel's combination of comfort, location, and exceptional service made it the perfect base for my trip to Rome. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay in the Eternal City.

Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! The location is ideal, just a short walk from Roma Termini, making it super convenient for travelers. One of the highlights was the functioning AC, which was a huge relief compared to other hotels we stayed at during our trip. The reception staff were friendly and always ready to assist, even helping us book taxi services when needed. Overall, a great experience—highly recommended!

In general, I had a very good experience when I stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights. I liked the location which is only a few minutes away from Rome rail station and several attractions. The room was a bit small but ok for one person and I only noticed that the bed has massage option with remote control only a few hours before departure. Breakfast was also very good with a wide range of options including gluten free food.

My fiancé and I were in Rome for vacation and did a lot of research beforehand on where to stay. We were arriving and leaving to/from the train station so this location was perfect being less than a 5 minute walk. We didn’t have to deal with taxi or driving, and could easily walk with our large suitcases. The hotel itself is nice with beautiful rooms and we had a very large balcony. The shower was a bit small but worked just fine. The hotel doesn’t have a gym but their sister hotel Hive does which was really cool to use. We were able to walk to many of the sites in Rome such as Spanish Steps, Panthenon, and we rode Lime Bikes to Vatican City and Colosseum. Highly recommend this hotel!

My wife and I came to Rome for the second part of our honeymoon, having just spent 5 nights in Florence, and we had chosen the Augusta Lucilla Palace for our stay in the capital.
We arrived on a truly horrible day weather wise, torrential rain bouncing 2 feet off the floor, and were thrilled that it was so close to the train station. We got to the hotel slightly before check in time, but whether out of pity from the rain, or just generally being amazing and polite, we were allowed to go to our room early.
The staff that greeted us were extremely friendly and helpful, and we had told them it was our honeymoon, so they congratulated us too which was lovely.
Our room was extremely clean, well furnished, tidy, and well spaced (especially when you compare it to other hotels in capital cities i.e. London).
Normally, the bed in a hotel room is just a bed. But I have to tell you, these beds are something else! They had remote controls to adjust how you sat or lay, the mattress melted beneath you, and I have never enjoyed a hotel bed so much! The pillows, the quilt, the bed, everything had you wanting to never leave.
30 minutes after arriving, a staff member knocked on our door and delivered a bottle of prosecco as a honeymoon gift which was extremely kind, and very much appreciated.
When we wanted to book activities, the staff were more than helpful with that. Even when we encountered an issue with a tour we booked, they tried their best to help with that also.
This is a fantastic hotel, and should I find myself in Rome again, I will definitely be looking at staying here in the future.

Love this hotel! The location is amazing, close enough to so many attractions but still far enough away to feel like you’re in a cozy spot. The staff is amazing and so accommodating. We had to drop our luggage off because we got in too early and they kept it secure for us until our room was ready. There are a lot of options for the included breakfast and we really enjoyed being able to eat something different every day if we wanted, because there was so much to choose from. The room we had had 2 twin beds that were adjustable and “massaging” (it really just vibrated lol). It was nice to elevate our feet after a long day of walking. If we come back, I would definitely stay here again!

A perfect room for a city break in Rome! The cozy setup had everything you need, from a comfy bed to daily cleaning service. Though I didn't spend much time indoors, it was a decent space with all the essentials. Toiletries, slippers, and a hairdryer were provided, along with a well-stocked minibar at reasonable prices. The hotel had an elevator for convenience. Enjoyed my morning coffee at the lobby bar before exploring nearby attractions like the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum. Highly recommend for both comfort and location near Termini station!
