The Grand hotel is located in Rome's Monti district, just a five minute walk from the Colosseum and Cavour metro station. It offers an American bar and two restaurants. It offers elegant rooms, some with views of Rome's rooftops. In the elegant restaurant Le Erbe restaurant serves international cuisine, while Le Spighe restaurant serves Roman and classic Italian cuisine. The walk from the hotel to the Forum Park and Arco de Trajano takes only a few minutes. A great choice for travelers interested in sightseeing, history and food.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotless, the continental breakfast was fresh and satisfying, and the staff provided excellent customer service. A cozy and comfortable experience.center location—I’d definitely stay here again!

We had such a great experience here and the room was surprisingly larger than expected. It even had two showers. We also stopped by the bar every night to end the day with some chamomile tea with honey and a crème brûlée. This hotel will be my first option when coming back to Rome. The staff is also very welcoming and comfortable to be around.

Excellent location. Close to the Roman forums and countless Rome attractions.
A few steps from the Cavour metro station.
I was here on two occasions and had different types of rooms. Both rooms were comfortable with good beds. One was very classy but felt a bit dated, the other very modern.
The included breakfast was good value.
My only complaint is the climate control in one of the rooms. Was temperamental.
I will come here again on my next visit.

This is a 3 star hotel, definitely not 4 star.
+The location is great, it is in the center of Rome, close to a lot of beautiful places
+The hotel room had a bath, which I love to be able to use.
+We got free water
+The hotel breakfast was quite nice with a good variety of pastries.
-The hotel room walls were not very nice looking. The paint on the walls were coming off, there was mold-like stains above the shower.
-The hotel rooms were not soundproof at all. We could hear the neighboring rooms' TVs, talking and slamming doors.
-The amenities in the room were few. You got a body+hair wash, but no conditioner (you would have to ask for that). We had to ask for a "Do not disturb"-sign as well. Things you would expect to get without having to ask for it.
-While enjoying your hotel breakfast, you were to endure a loud constant noise from a smoothie machine that an employee worked with which was not very pleasant.

Check in process was very good. Room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of mirrors, lighting and plugs which is always a positive. Hotel was quiet and we had no disturbances at any time even though the street outside was busy and loud. The location is great, you’re a stone throw away from the Colosseum and the ancient Roman ruins. It’s about a 25 minute walk to the Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps and the Pantheon but overall a really good location. Definitely would stay here again when we’re in Rome next!

Booked as the last part of our European holiday. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel decor was good if slightly dated. Only 1 lift but there was never a huge wait to use it. The stairs were marble and did at times create a lot of noise with people using them (our room was next to the stairs). Overall a good quality hotel in a great location.

Great hotel in the heart of the city center. All main attractions within the walking distance. Even walking to/from Vatican area is a pleasant and nice experience. Rooms are spacious and clean, only the sound isolation could be better as we could hear the neighbors all the time. Breakfast is really nice. The staff is very friendly and ready to help.

Comfortable and clean hotel with nicely appointed and good sized room. The breakfast buffet was really nice. My room had some street and nightlife noise. But the room had a selection of pillows and a guide to them, which I really appreciated. Seems conveniently located for tourists (but I was on business).

The location of this hotel is second to none for those looking to explore the city of Rome on foot. Despite being in a heavily foot-trafficked area, it was fairly quiet at night. I had to give the room experience 3 stars as our AC didn’t work, and there was heavy construction on the floor we were staying on - my husband and I were woken up by power drills very early in the morning. The hotel staff were friendly and we especially enjoyed the continental breakfast - specifically the delightful lady who makes fresh juice! She was so cool and nice.

The rooms are on the smaller side but are cozy, comes with regular amenities. Beds are semi-firm. The fitness space is inside a regular room that was transformed into a fitness gym. Dining is great, I enjoyed a three course meal for dinner one night and liked the breakfast buffet. My favorite food items were the breakfast cakes/pastries. Lots of renovations going on during our stay. Multiple troubles with the elevators, one night they didn’t work at all. However, the staff is excellent, they went above and beyond. One staff member took us upstairs on the luggage elevator when the two main elevators were broken. Great location for walking to the Coliseum with great restaurants close by.
