What a fabulous hotel! We had a great room, with comfortable beds, beautiful woodwork and murals on the walls. Plus, the rooms were silenced with thick, double-paned glass. Super quiet. The staff was fantastic. Right in the heart of Rome, not far from the Colosseum.

Highly overrated place, we basically book looking at starts only.
The old man at reception was hardly speaking English and could not provide us much information and was in hurry to go home.
Rooms are so tiny you can't open your bag. There are multiple vents of A/C which were strong and we can not turn it down, One vent was below the table. Lift is very small 1 person could fit with his luggage.
It is near to central station ~1km is the only advantage. Better to check for buses/tram prior visiting Roma and plan your city tour.
Colosseum is at walking distance ~1.2km but you reach at back of the Colosseum and at top. You have to climb down , cross rode, go to the front and then you can enter in Colosseum.

This hotel suffers from several issues that can significantly impact your stay. Rooms are too small. The shower is cramped and practically not usable due to its super small size. No soundproofing at all, so you will hear lots of noises from people next door or the rooms above and below. Surrounding areas and streets are not safe, especially in early morning and evenings. They also had constructions going on every day from 10 am to 1 pm. No prior notice was given to guests. The construction noise was so loud that guests had to exit the hotel and come back every day after 1 pm. You could not stay in the room during those hours, let alone having some rest. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and did what they could to smooth the situation, but there was not much they could do for all the fundamental flaws with this hotel. These issues can make it difficult to relax and enjoy your stay.

The hotel is very small and so are the rooms. The walls are all decorated so that makes it a bit more interesting. The location is very nice. Central to a bunch of bars and away from the touristy areas. The Termini train station is a less than five minute walk. The historic areas where the Trevi fountain and other sights are is around 20 minute walk.

It's very modest and small hotel. I think their security is good, so quite safe in my opinion. They have lovely breakfast, fresh and tasty.
Their staff is friendly and will help with anything you ask them for.
The rooms are on smaller side comparing to US rooms, but still comfortable to stay for even a week.
This hotel is close by many attractions, mini supermarkets, souvenir shops, clothing store. I highly recommend this hotel. I did not have to use the taxi at all. It's quite far from Vatican, but taxi is affordable or you can go by metro.
Their staff is friendly and will help with anything you ask them for.

Very nice small hotel. Staff is super friendly. Rooms are on small side, but nice and more than comfortable. Would definitely return. Short walk to Coliseum and train station

What a hidden gem. We absolutely loved this charming hotel! The service was wonderful. The front desk staff is very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again sometime. Perfect trip to Rome before our cruise. Thank you for everything!

I love this hotel! Stayed there on my first trip to Rome with my 2 sons. I would definitely stay there again! I loved the room for 3 with the balcony. The staff were incredibly nice. The breakfast was great and convenient. Location was awesome!

I loved my week-long stay at Hotel Amalfi! It's an amazing boutique hotel with a lot of charm and character. The owner and the staff took very good care of me and made me feel very welcome! The breakfast was perfect with several options and most importantly, a great espresso machine. The rooftop is a great addition and a nice little escape.
The location couldn't be better--close to Termini Station, two other Metro stops, Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore, and a lot of restaurants. My favorite place to dine was Birreria Marconi--the food and the service were amazing and it had a casual, neighborhood feel to it. I went multiple times tried pasta dishes, pizzas & the veal (Roma style) and they were all fabulous.
I look forward to my next visit to Rome. I will definitely stay at Hotel Amalfi again!!
