It's a short distance to Syracusa but they run shuttles and we had are own car as well, so it was easy to get about

Had a great stay at the hotel Roma. The rooms were huge, and in a perfect location, close to the main square and laneways full of restaurants and bars. My highlight at the hotel was by far the breakfast each morning

It’s very easy to get from the hotel to other places, and finding a parking spot is not a problem

Nice looking hotel and well located within easy walking distance of most Ortigia sights. There is a ginormous jacuzzi in the basement, as well as a sauna, steam room and treatment rooms

We visited in mid June when it is hot, so were not that interested in the sauna/steam, but were a little surprised to have to ask the staff to prepare the area for us (to be fair it only took 5 minutes) - they go downstairs and turn on the lights, etc

Lovely view and sound of the ocean. Perfect room to wind down and sleep like a mermaid

We didn't see anyone in the restaurant in the evenings. There is also a rooftop 'garden' terrace and bar. we found a deserted terrace with 3 dying plants and no sign of a bar or any service

The rooms are spacious, clean and modern, and each is equipped with good AC which is needed during the hot summer months, The breakfast is also great and includes a very large selection of savoury snacks, sweets and a large fruit selection

If you are considering a getaway from your hectic life to indulge in the stunning scenery, the excellent amenities, and the warm, welcoming staff at this location, then hesitate no longer and visit Borgo Pantano

The choice at breakfast is plentiful, the offerings delicious and it is a joy to start your day with these beautiful views of the harbour. Their recommendations for good restaurants were excellent

The hotel itself is beautiful, in a great location, and the staff are excellent. They offer a private beach, but it costs $20 per person for the boat ride there and back

Slight inconvenience with the bed being in a loft (as was the bathroom) so that it was hot at night, & we had to go up a flight of stairs to use the toilet. The staff was uniformly friendly, helpful & accommodating

Beautiful rooms with excellent airconditioning, had a room on two floors which suited us perfectly. Best service from concierge, helpful with parking and sorting the room when we got off the boat
