Awesome hotel in a great oceanfront location the room upgrade was amazing with a view of the harbor and mount Etna. Wonderful staff everywhere. I’ve huge pool and gym. Walking in the old city is very cool at night. Easy parking. I could live here forever.

Where do I start. The service right from pulling up to the front was just impeccable. Gianluca was just amazing...give that man a raise. Definitely the best choice to stay near Syracuse. stunning views to Ortigia, sandy and rocky beach in one place. The rooms are comfortable, classic design and marble in the bathroom with Hatria porcelain. We were here the first week in October 2024 & had a great time. The rooms were clean & comfortable. Slight inconvenience with the bed being in a loft (as was the bathroom) so that it was hot at night, & we had to go up a flight of stairs to use the toilet. The staff was uniformly friendly, helpful & accommodating. The hotel (built in 1890) is really beautiful, with marble floors, fabric wallpapers...

Not a 5 star hotel. Great location and generally nice stay but far from a 5 star stay; didn't have an iron to provide, main doors were broken and had to be manually slid open, only elevator was broken one morning... The rest of the experience was akin to a good 4 star experience.

We had the best time. The location is great, service is outstanding, rooms are spacious. The bed was soo comfy and big and there was a hot tub bath in our bathroom. The restaurant is on the top floor with a sea view where you can have breakfast or sunset drinks.

Great hotel in awesome location. Breakfast on a terrace with a view on a sea is exceptional. There is also a private beach (we didn’t manage to check it though) and convenient parking next to the hotel. The only weakness is the internet quality.

This is a really nice hotel with rooms that are unfortunately a bit below average. The rooms are small, and have virtually no storage. The lodge rooms are on two floors which to us makes no sense. In the middle of a shower the lights in the bathroom would go out as they were on automatic sensor – this was ridiculous. The air-conditioning also was on the timer. Overall it is a beautiful hotel, we had some issues on the first day with our shower flooding the bathroom. They sent maintenance immediately but then it flooded again in the evening. Came here with a deal for access to the spa and a 3 course dinner. The spa was very nice, with a variety of different rooms and not too busy. The meal was a good standard with excellent wait staff. The hotel looked lovely, though fairly quiet (it is April), would definitely consider staying here if we return to Syracuse.

Wonderful experience, the hotel is an oasis of comfort. Our two year old daughter loved the jacuzzi on the terrace of our room, as well as the indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Really appreciate the warm services of the staff; we had a wonderful dinner with Valentina’s suggestion; Angelo made me a delicious lemon honey when he found I had a coarse voice. The Caportigia Boutique Hotel is a great place to take advantage of the comforts offered. At the same time, within walking distance of Ortigia, but not in the daily chaos of the beautiful city. The hotel personnel was exceptionally polite, kind, and friendly. Our room was perfectly clean, the bed was super comfy - I wish all hotel rooms have the same quality of bed! My wife and I stayed here with 2 friends and ended up having the whole place to ourselves. Bedrooms are spacious with individual air conditioning - much needed at night with the fantastic weather! Each room has its own bathroom but is on the other side of the living room. This didn't affect our stay at all. Had a great stay at the hotel Roma. The rooms were huge, and in a perfect location, close to the main square and laneways full of restaurants and bars. location is just few steps from Greek theatre park. hotel is very modern and well kept. rooms are clean and functioning. they have a gym that is not too small and has a good number of machines. the rooftop pool is very nice though shuts down at 7pm so a but early in my opinion. the staff is amazing, all helpful and very courteous.

Lovely hotel - friendly attentive staff - spent a week here - loved the pool OK it was late September - so never an issue getting a seat around the pool. Great, helpful barman - Andreas - had a drink / cocktail there every evening. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Bars & restaurants nearby but for €10 or 35 minute walk, you can go to Ortega where you will be spoilt for choices of restaurants etc...

Location wise this hotel was great for us. A short walk to Ortigia so ideal as a base for exploring. Breakfast was the usual buffet type and good enough. If you’ve got a rental car, some street parking and paid parking can be found nearby.

We enjoyed a two night stay in this lovely hotel. Not the most modern, but very comfortable. Friendly service, a very good breakfast. Moderately priced. My only complaint is that the WiFi did not quite reach into our room - only available in the doorway. It worked fine in the lobby.

Excellent service, facilities and pool. A little remote and would recommend if you have a car and want a spa type holiday away from this. Without a car would have felt a little cut off with nothing else walking distance but several other restaurants 10 minutes drive to give options. Only 4 shuttles per day into syracuse and 4 back and its a shame the are not a few more.

The staff are all incredibly friendly. The best service I've had at a hotel for a long time. The facilities are amazing and you feel that you have plenty of space. It's a short distance to Syracusa but they run shuttles and we had are own car as well, so it was easy to get about. Highly recommend it.

Very good Hotel, best breakfast which I saw in Italy, very kind stuff. Gym is also very good, 2 outdoors and 1 indoor pool. Two building, new and old, but both I think is good. The place is little bit far from town Siracusa, but they offer free shuttles.

This is a lovely hotel in Ortigia. Location is super convenient and the staff is very responsive and accommodating. We never stayed in Ortigia when we lived in Sicily 13 years ago but now wish we had. When using GPS to drive to the hotel, DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS. The route Google tries to take you is not the best way and will have you driving down very narrow streets. Both Apple Maps and Waze both...

Great location, charming hotel. Furniture and amenities could use some updating. Decent breakfast. For 30 Euros a day parking, it was inconvenient to require 1 hour's notice for valet pickup. We were disappointed by the checkout process; checkout was at 11 AM and we received phone calls to our room at 10:50 AM, 10:55 AM rushing us out; we left at 11:02 AM and received another phone call scolding us...

Beautiful hotel, central location, sea view from the balcony, comfortable, lovely room. The service was pleasant and assertive members of staff, willing to assist and help apart from one incident, which was later looked into and rectified. It didn't spoil my whole experience. Sam the masseuse was exceptional. Worth every penny. For anyone who is looking to relax then I would urge you to try any of his massages he has to offer. 10 out of 10 experience.

In all my experiences never have I had a more amazing massage than that given by Sam. He offers a range of relaxing, deep tissue and even Egyptian style massages which are worth every penny. Let's share the bad points first. Parking is very difficult there and since I AM DISABLED OVER 80%.As we arrived I was happy to park just close to the hotel. We are loving our stay at this hotel even though it is February and the weather is wintry. Excellent classic palacio, very well restored, friendly staff, comfortable and big rooms, in front of the sea. It is located in the heart of Ortigia, the old island/city of Syracuse. Breakfast with high quality products. For sure in my next visit i will choose the same hotel.

staff were amazingly friendly throughout our stay. facilities for kids were great with excellent beach style pool, playground and great babysitting service with our kids enjoying dinner with Alba each night to give us some time to ourselves. easy to get into Syracuse/Ortigia for day trips or evenings.
