Beautiful traditional hotel, full of history, enjoyed sipping Negroni in Winston Churchill bar and lovely pool. Has its own beach platform (rock) 5 mins walk
Short taxi ride to Ortigia and so near to archaeological site - a must! Would recommend
Such an opportunity would have added a truly remarkable dimension to the stay. That said, one does at times sense that the hotel relies a little heavily on this heritage
We had the pleasure of spending the past week at the Grand Hotel Villa Politi and were thoroughly impressed by its timeless elegance and refined charm
One may view it only from the hotel’s balustrade, which is indeed picturesque, but it is a pity that the site itself cannot be explored by guests
Perched gracefully on the hillside just outside the historic centre of Syracuse, the hotel enjoys a wonderfully convenient yet tranquil location

A wonderful hotel with excellent service, beautiful decor, and spacious, elegant rooms. We also had access to their private beach, which was a fantastic bonus—quiet, clean, and truly relaxing
Beautiful old hotel with fantastic staff. Wonderful breakfast. Could do with updating and as others have said, the roof terrace drinks are over priced and the beach is fairly basic. Would stay again though.
The hotel itself is beautiful, in a great location, and the staff are excellent. They offer a private beach, but it costs $20 per person for the boat ride there and back
While the view of the city from the beach was stunning, the area was not well maintained—the dock was concrete and deteriorating, and the beach didn’t appear groomed
The lunch area was a basic plywood structure, and the food was disappointing. Given how impressive the hotel is, the beach experience felt like a missed opportunity
The boat ride was enjoyable, but it seemed unusual for a hotel of this caliber to charge for it. We were expecting a pristine beach and a nice spot for lunch

Overall, it’s a beautiful property, but they definitely have some work to do to deliver luxury hotel service. Beware that Parking, pool access and a pet fee could add hundreds of Euro to an already high cost stay
The beautiful pool in the hotel pictures can only be accessed if you pay an additional €60/day. I have never seen a Marriott property with such a policy
The service right from pulling up to the front was just impeccable. The room was beautiful and had the most perfect views. absolutely spotless and everything worked. It is the perfect location for exploring the town
Staff was great especially our Bartender who greeted us every night with our usual night cap 🍸 I woke up every morning ready for the Delicious Italian Breakfast!! So yummy There is something to be said about Sicily in December
Few tourist and friendly locals. Would definitely return to Ortea Palace. We loved the farmer Market in town. The Art On Display in the hotel was tastefully unique!
It is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in recently. Breakfast was perfect and the bar was amazing. just a shame we were only there for one night

The main beach is beautiful with very helpful staff on hand, the 2nd rocky beach is perfect if you want something slightly less busy, there is also a great pool. Restaurant in the evening has some great dishes to try
Beautiful sea, beach was clean, and cliff side area is really nice. Overall service was good overall, however, there is also a few downside: It's about 15 mins from town, and there is nothing around the resort
You will be looking at 40 euro one way to go to town
The gardens and vegetation are arranged with real taste, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. The private beach is truly special — set in a quiet, protected bay with crystal-clear water and a relaxing vibe
We didn’t take the boat trip to Ortigia this time — the sunset was too early in the season — but we’ll definitely try it next time
Fell in love with the pictures of the sandy beach, which indeed is lovely. The hotel however has two types of rooms - the smaller in 80s styles, while some suites and family rooms are beautifully renovated

Excellent classic palacio, very well restored, friendly staff, comfortable and big rooms, in front of the sea. It is located in the heart of Ortigia, the old island/city of Syracuse. Breakfast with high quality products
During the night below the hotel, young people were playing drums on the beach until early morning. even if the windows are thick. Fantastic location, good looking rooms, very nice people EXCEPT THE RUDE ONE
Great hotel location, wonderful staff, comfortable rooms, good breakfast buffet. I would absolutely stay here again. Just a very comfortable stay!
Ideal location to explore Ortigia. Apartment very clean with all required facilities. Breakfast better than the standard buffet
The staff made the experience very welcoming and comfortable by providing recommendations of local restaurants and cafes
For sure in my next visit i will choose the same hotel

This hotel was the perfect location. The hotel staff was excellent, from the desk staff to the fantastic wait staff in the breakfast area. Great breakfast buffet every day. Including made to order eggs and omelets
A very nice hotel. We stayed in one of the deluxe spa suites. The organic breakfast was quite good and there were vegan options including vegan croissants! The staff were nice.
Missed out on our stay at this property due to a medication issue with my mother. But I'm sure it would have been top notch!
Expensive to park car overnight. Had to switch rooms due to a leak mid stay. Staff was helpful overall. Comfortable hotel
Excellent geographical location.
Exceeded expectations very good

Our room was perfectly clean, the bed was super comfy - I wish all hotel rooms have the same quality of bed! Unfortunately we did not try the kitchen of the hotel which is a Michelin restaurant, but next time we definitely do
Walking around in the old town is easy, the charming main square as well as the see side are close proximity. I sincerely recommend this hotel to people who wish to stay in Siracusa old town
Beautiful new hotel with friendly staff. The restaurant was excellent. They are really trying to have a Michelin star. we enjoyed our stay a lot.
The hotel personnel was exceptionally polite, kind, and friendly

Lovely view and sound of the ocean. Perfect room to wind down and sleep like a mermaid
Excellent breakfast and beautiful rooms. Great location. They take care of your car.
Beautiful view from a hotel restaurant.
We visited in mid June when it is hot, so were not that interested in the sauna/steam, but were a little surprised to have to ask the staff to prepare the area for us (to be fair it only took 5 minutes) - they go downstairs and turn on the lights, etc
We didn't see anyone in the restaurant in the evenings. There is also a rooftop 'garden' terrace and bar. we found a deserted terrace with 3 dying plants and no sign of a bar or any service
Nice looking hotel and well located within easy walking distance of most Ortigia sights. There is a ginormous jacuzzi in the basement, as well as a sauna, steam room and treatment rooms

The only issue we had was the shower - ours didn’t get warm, but the hosts were kind enough to let us switch rooms immediately. In the second room, the shower handle fell off and hit my husband in the head
We were gifted welcome drinks anytime we wanted; a van to pick us up when we couldn’t get a taxi; and very fast laundry service. They recommended the best restaurants in the area and made reservations for our group
Had a wonderful stay at the Henry House for our honeymoon. The rooms were quant, clean, and good looking. It is in a great location too. The hosts were super accommodating and so so helpful
Room facing the sea. Having breakfast on the hotel balcony facing the Mediterranean Sea every day is so beautiful! The staff is very professional and patient, and will answer any questions you have. Accurate English.
Breakfast each day was both plentiful and varied with many traditional treats to sample. Overall we couldn't fault this hotel and wonderful staff
The terrace has a nice view of the sea and the complimentary drink on our first night and complimentary soft drinks in the room are a really nice touch

The breakfast was amazing! It seemed almost limitless. Pastries, fresh fruit, fresh coffee and tea. The service was relaxed but genuine. Always asking if we wanted more or making adjustments as requested
We ended up staying for three nights! The rooms were very clean and modern. There was a small but comfortable courtyard where we ate and chilled In addition to a regular inside eating area
It didn’t seem like much from the outside, but we liked the price and were happy to have a place to stay for the night. The price included breakfast so that was a bonus
A special note of thanks to Valentina who made us feel welcome and valued. Great value! We would stay again
We arrived after 9pm with no reservation as we were in the area and unexpectedly needed a place to stay
We payed 38 Euro for one night including breakfast. We had a big room comfortable beds. Build quality is not that good. But they are super friendly and helpful. The best deal I ever had for a hotel

The private beach is a true marvel: crystal-clear waters fed by natural freshwater springs, as owner Francesca explained to us — giving it the serenity and clarity of a saltwater pool
But Musciara Resort in Siracusa is in a league of its own — an exquisite jewel that lingers in the heart long after you’ve left
The only private beach anywhere in Siracusa and just stunning design both inside and on the grounds. The staff is some of the best I’ve seen. It’s family run and they bend over backwards to make sure guests are happy
The interiors are a refined blend of coral accents, seashells, and natural textures — a place that could have stepped straight out of Architectural Digest
The room was very comfortable, and the private beach was so nice. I appreciate the attention to detail, it’s obvious they care about creating an enjoyable experience
As seasoned travelers who have stayed in some of the world’s most exclusive hotels, we are rarely moved

If you are looking for a unique place to immerse yourself in nature with a crazy view you have arrived!!! Every room has a sea view A large swimming pool overlooking the cliff A sunset and a sunrise that reconcile you with the world I left my heart there…
Unexpected location, beautiful, Very quiet residence with everything you need, The pool, the gardens, the sea view, nothing is missing...
Lovely pool and direct access to the sea. Best regarded as self catering rather than " hotel". The local supermarket sells delicious home made Sicilia food which I'd highly recommend
Magical place! Structure built overhanging the crystalline sea; only flaw, the access to the sea no longer equipped. The swimming pool (even if small) very useful
Simply wonderful, I get up in the morning, look at the see and feel that everything is possible
Lovely, quiet spot about 8km outside Siracusa. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment was thoroughly cleaned every day. We were served a simple but tasty continental breakfast daily in an outside communal area

The facilities are old, but the hot water was good and the room wasn't cold, so I was very satisfied. I would like to stay again next time
Very pleasantly appointed room. Comfortable and stylish. Only downside was a humdrumming sound during the night which woke me.
After Syracuse, I went to Palermo, and this location was very helpful. The staff are warm and have a homely atmosphere
There were bakeries with fragrant aromas around, a large supermarket, and seafood that scared my husband away when I asked about the price. It was too expensive, 16 euros for 0
There's no safe, no slippers. I expected more from a 4* hotel. The host is very nice.
The location is excellent, about 5 minutes from both the train station and the bus terminal, and about 10 minutes from Ortigia Island. I arrived from Taormina and made a day trip to Noto during my stay

Keep this in mind if you are a light sleeper. Don't be fooled by the beautiful pictures of a solarium at sea. It does not belong (as is suggested) to the hotel, but is open to the public
Absolutely l loved the space inside the hotel! Also, don't forget to go on the rooftop and sit by the sunet and have a drink. Wonderfully located by the sea and easy to access.
This review only concerns the valet/car service as we didn’t sleep in this hotel Paolo and Piero have provided impeccable service for us during our stay : they took and dropped the car at different places and times of the day (even late at night), and were truly helpful and kind Truly the kind of warm characters you tipically find in southern Italy
The house looks nice and premium but the services are unfortunaty not because they are affiliated with Re Federico (3***). A lot of things and gestures that could have made our stay easier and nicer were forgotten
Amazing stay ! We started our honeymoon trip in Syracuse and the team of Re Federico really made it special ! Room super clean and big, very functional, good breakfast. In the heart of the calm part of Ortigia
What impressed us most was however the kindness and helpfulness of the concierge staff who went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate us! Thank you! Highly recommended!
