Etna, they bay and rolling hills of Siracusa. This is a bucket list must stay resort for couples. Service was also top notch and all staff were extremely helpful and polite

The staff from the BF is very friendly, the manager behavior of the hotel is exceptional, he cares personally about the guest requests. We spent a pleasant time here

Great hotel in awesome location. Breakfast on a terrace with a view on a sea is exceptional. There is also a private beach (we didn’t manage to check it though) and convenient parking next to the hotel

The only weakness is the internet quality

In the middle of a shower the lights in the bathroom would go out as they were on automatic sensor – this was ridiculous. The air-conditioning also was on the timer. In 100° heat this is not what we wanted

This is a really nice hotel with rooms that are unfortunately a bit below average. The rooms are small, and have virtually no storage. The lodge rooms are on two floors which to us makes no sense

This all said, the location of the hotel is fantastic. Breakfast which is served on the roof is absolutely wonderful as is the staff that serves it. That easily was one of the highlights of our stay here

I was lucky enough to be relocated to this hotel, following a disastrous air b n b booking. The room was very comfortable, on the ground floor, which I thought might be noisy, it wasn’t

The staff were all lovely and very helpful. One night I ate in the hotel, the food was incredible!! I highly recommend it. I had vongole spaghetti, the flavours were explosive

They also let me store my luggage on check out day, until my taxi arrived. Great location too, go for it , book today

Surrounded by many historycal and archaeological spots, located in the center of the town, this hotel has a magnificent park and a beautiful and open sea view. The dining room is impressive with two giants chandeliers.

The next day the hotel called and said that we had forgotten our things in the safe. I said that we would come in a couple of days and pick it up

A real must in eastern Sicily. Go there and you won't regret.

Very atmospheric place with history. Bit far from the city center, 30 minutes walk, but there are advantages in the form of free Parking, sobstennyh areas, large pool. The beach is conditional, paid

2 minutes walk from a lovely bar with veranda, a little further - a wonderful restaurant with a terrace over the sea (in front of the entrance to the beach)

But this hotel is not for a beach holiday and for excursions to Siracusa, if you are traveling by car through Sicily

The only private beach anywhere in Siracusa and just stunning design both inside and on the grounds. The staff is some of the best I’ve seen. It’s family run and they bend over backwards to make sure guests are happy

The room was very comfortable, and the private beach was so nice. I appreciate the attention to detail, it’s obvious they care about creating an enjoyable experience

everything, location, private beach, decor, ambience, especially appreciated the staff who were excellent. The food was faultless, more expensive than most, but definitely worth it.

Having read some of the negative complaints it’s obvious those guests were looking for a ‘deal’, were bad guests themselves or simply have no understanding of how much it costs to operate lodging at this level of perfection

We originally wanted to be in Ortigia thinking we’d be too far if we stayed in Siracusa. It’s a short mile walk to Ortigia and well worth it to stay here! The breakfast is out of this world! As are the lunch and dinners

My husband and I had the most wonderful time here. The entire staff was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, especially Francesca who gave us perfect recommendations for dinners and drinks in Ortigia

The staff were very helpful - we made a last minute booking because we had to do a late cancellation at an Airbnb. We stayed in the annex to the Samoa Beach at Arenella Rooms hotel - which was very comfortable.

Every effort to make our stay enjoyable was made. Breakfast was great, room was great, beach straight across the road - although we stayed at Arenella Beach Rooms, not Samoa Beach

Nice view and friendly staff, reasonable prices.

The residence is located about 30 meters from the sea where there is a free beach and 2 bathing establishments. From the rooms you can hear the song of the sea

The strong point of the residence is that it is located a stone's throw from the beach, you can access either a free beach or the Nereidi beach which, however, is a platform to the left of the residence or the Arenella beach beach on the right

We stayed 3 days in this structure practically on the sea. Very kind and extremely helpful managers. It is located 50 m from the sea with a choice of rocks or beach

Splendid sea! A few km from Plemmirio, a protected marine area, which offers glimpses of the splendid sea and surprising beaches

Air conditioning, fans, air shovel, garden chairs and tables, TV, fridge, crockery, outdoor barbecue, etc. The owners are lovely people and the daily price is among the cheapest in the area

A nice quiet residence where you can spend your relaxing holidays, all the villas are well stocked with everything you need

Our room was perfectly clean, the bed was super comfy - I wish all hotel rooms have the same quality of bed! Unfortunately we did not try the kitchen of the hotel which is a Michelin restaurant, but next time we definitely do

Walking around in the old town is easy, the charming main square as well as the see side are close proximity. I sincerely recommend this hotel to people who wish to stay in Siracusa old town

The hotel is amazing, it is located next to the see and the view from the room is amazing. The roof top bar at the top floor with the restaurant overlook the port and we enjoyed the sunset from there

We visited in mid June when it is hot, so were not that interested in the sauna/steam, but were a little surprised to have to ask the staff to prepare the area for us (to be fair it only took 5 minutes) - they go downstairs and turn on the lights, etc

We didn't see anyone in the restaurant in the evenings. There is also a rooftop 'garden' terrace and bar. we found a deserted terrace with 3 dying plants and no sign of a bar or any service

Nice looking hotel and well located within easy walking distance of most Ortigia sights. There is a ginormous jacuzzi in the basement, as well as a sauna, steam room and treatment rooms

Seriously amazing place end to end, and giuseppe is a very warm host and owner and it’s obvious he cares deeply about his hotel and city. My only regret is that my travel plans didn’t allow me to stay longer!!

Perfectly run bed and breakfast. Giuseppe and his wife are gracious hosts, the rooms are impeccable and breakfast on the terrace is lovely. A wonderful three days in a perfect location

The breakfast is quite good, the staff is helpful and friendly and they offer space for parking your car

Excellent place to stay in Sicily. The rooms are spacious and have great airconditioning for hot summer days. The staff clean and replace the sheets and towels almost daily

In all my experiences never have I had a more amazing massage than that given by Sam. He offers a range of relaxing, deep tissue and even Egyptian style massages which are worth every penny

Sam the masseuse was exceptional. Worth every penny. For anyone who is looking to relax then I would urge you to try any of his massages he has to offer. 10 out of 10 experience.

My wife and I spent two days in this wonderful hotel located right by the sea in the historical center of Ortigia. The suite is very big and has all the comfort you need

At breakfast we tried homemade strawberry and orange jam, pistachio crostata and other delicious food. I highly recommend this hotel

It’s located in a quite neighborhood and you can reach the main streets with restaurants and shops in few minutes

The breakfast was amazing! It seemed almost limitless. Pastries, fresh fruit, fresh coffee and tea. The service was relaxed but genuine. Always asking if we wanted more or making adjustments as requested

We ended up staying for three nights! The rooms were very clean and modern. There was a small but comfortable courtyard where we ate and chilled In addition to a regular inside eating area

We arrived after 9pm with no reservation as we were in the area and unexpectedly needed a place to stay

We payed 38 Euro for one night including breakfast. We had a big room comfortable beds. Build quality is not that good. But they are super friendly and helpful. The best deal I ever had for a hotel

We were gifted welcome drinks anytime we wanted; a van to pick us up when we couldn’t get a taxi; and very fast laundry service. They recommended the best restaurants in the area and made reservations for our group

The staff are absolute perfection and provide amazing dinner recommendations, top notch breakfast service (served on a terrace overlooking the sea), and the rooms are always immaculately cleaned each day

Amazing hotel - one of the highlights of our time in Ortigia. Each room is unique and the entire hotel is furnished to make you feel as if you’re in some eccentric aristocrat’s house

Highly recommend the junior suite with (the only) private balcony if available - overlooks the pedestrian walkway below and the bay, facing west to capture the beautiful sunsets

It seemed like it was one of the only hotels on the southern part of Ortigia, in a more residential area with older buildings and picturesque narrow alleyways

They were buried, literally, in the 15th cenury when the Jews were expelled from Syracuae, and found again when renovation work was undertaken in the hotel inbthe late 20th century

Ancient Jewish baths are very interesting. However 5 euro cost for guided tour seems steep considering it lasts less than 15 mins.

Very nice place, the only problem is parking the car. There is a parking 10 minutes away.

I enjoy Gutkowskino every time again. The informal atmosphere, the friendly service, the tasteful (figurative : ) furniture and Santi's cooking style makes it that more than one sense is totally satisfied

The best spot to stay in this beautiful town. Friendly stuff, very good breakfast (not warm dishes like omelettes or fried eggs or any charcuterie) but a variety of local cheese, fresh fruit and juices

When I go out for an evening I hope to find a location that unites atmosphere, estetica, kindness and tasteful quality. I find it all at Gutkowskino : )

Wonderful view to the sea for some of the rooms

The rooms are a few steps from both private beaches and a well-equipped solarium, and from the historic center, Ortigia

The accommodations are elegant, refined, with great attention to detail and I guarantee personal privacy. You can choose between room G (larger) and M (smaller), both of which are equipped with modern lighting systems

The staff is very helpful and present and there is the possibility to have breakfast also inside the B & b. I really liked the fact that all the premises are sanitized before a new customer arrives
