A wonderful hotel with excellent service, beautiful decor, and spacious, elegant rooms. We also had access to their private beach, which was a fantastic bonus—quiet, clean, and truly relaxing

Beautiful old hotel with fantastic staff. Wonderful breakfast. Could do with updating and as others have said, the roof terrace drinks are over priced and the beach is fairly basic. Would stay again though.

The hotel itself is beautiful, in a great location, and the staff are excellent. They offer a private beach, but it costs $20 per person for the boat ride there and back

While the view of the city from the beach was stunning, the area was not well maintained—the dock was concrete and deteriorating, and the beach didn’t appear groomed

The lunch area was a basic plywood structure, and the food was disappointing. Given how impressive the hotel is, the beach experience felt like a missed opportunity

One of the best places to travel when you want to relax in Sicily. Clean room and a really beautiful place. The pool and jaccuzi is great. Not far from Syracuse with car

The only caveat is there were a lot of small children that can be loud during dinner on the property. Otherwise a great place to stay during your trip to Syracuse

A retro resort hotel that exceeded expectations. Suitable for couples, business trips, etc. Good environment, rich breakfast. Good location, free parking and plenty of parking spaces. I will choose it again next time.

The only private beach anywhere in Siracusa and just stunning design both inside and on the grounds. The staff is some of the best I’ve seen. It’s family run and they bend over backwards to make sure guests are happy

Having read some of the negative complaints it’s obvious those guests were looking for a ‘deal’, were bad guests themselves or simply have no understanding of how much it costs to operate lodging at this level of perfection

We originally wanted to be in Ortigia thinking we’d be too far if we stayed in Siracusa. It’s a short mile walk to Ortigia and well worth it to stay here! The breakfast is out of this world! As are the lunch and dinners

I was lucky enough to be relocated to this hotel, following a disastrous air b n b booking. The room was very comfortable, on the ground floor, which I thought might be noisy, it wasn’t

The staff were all lovely and very helpful. One night I ate in the hotel, the food was incredible!! I highly recommend it. I had vongole spaghetti, the flavours were explosive

They also let me store my luggage on check out day, until my taxi arrived. Great location too, go for it , book today

The residence is located about 30 meters from the sea where there is a free beach and 2 bathing establishments. From the rooms you can hear the song of the sea

The strong point of the residence is that it is located a stone's throw from the beach, you can access either a free beach or the Nereidi beach which, however, is a platform to the left of the residence or the Arenella beach beach on the right

We stayed 3 days in this structure practically on the sea. Very kind and extremely helpful managers. It is located 50 m from the sea with a choice of rocks or beach

Splendid sea! A few km from Plemmirio, a protected marine area, which offers glimpses of the splendid sea and surprising beaches

Air conditioning, fans, air shovel, garden chairs and tables, TV, fridge, crockery, outdoor barbecue, etc. The owners are lovely people and the daily price is among the cheapest in the area

The service right from pulling up to the front was just impeccable. The room was beautiful and had the most perfect views. absolutely spotless and everything worked. It is the perfect location for exploring the town

Both Apple Maps and Waze both had a different route that was much easier to drive. Highly recommend using either of those two apps instead of Google Maps. We will definitely stay here if we make a return trip to Ortigia

Unbelievable service from the moment we walked in. Super helpful and friendly staff, the actual hotel building was amazing, something you need to look around. One minute from one of the est view of Sarcusa and swimming

It seems to be spread across a couple buildings. Public spaces are nice and the restaurant is a large comfy space. good thing too because there are a lot of people staying in this hotel

A very nice hotel. We stayed in one of the deluxe spa suites. The organic breakfast was quite good and there were vegan options including vegan croissants! The staff were nice.

Our room was perfectly clean, the bed was super comfy - I wish all hotel rooms have the same quality of bed! Unfortunately we did not try the kitchen of the hotel which is a Michelin restaurant, but next time we definitely do

Walking around in the old town is easy, the charming main square as well as the see side are close proximity. I sincerely recommend this hotel to people who wish to stay in Siracusa old town

We visited in mid June when it is hot, so were not that interested in the sauna/steam, but were a little surprised to have to ask the staff to prepare the area for us (to be fair it only took 5 minutes) - they go downstairs and turn on the lights, etc

We didn't see anyone in the restaurant in the evenings. There is also a rooftop 'garden' terrace and bar. we found a deserted terrace with 3 dying plants and no sign of a bar or any service

Nice looking hotel and well located within easy walking distance of most Ortigia sights. There is a ginormous jacuzzi in the basement, as well as a sauna, steam room and treatment rooms

The only issue we had was the shower - ours didn’t get warm, but the hosts were kind enough to let us switch rooms immediately. In the second room, the shower handle fell off and hit my husband in the head

We were gifted welcome drinks anytime we wanted; a van to pick us up when we couldn’t get a taxi; and very fast laundry service. They recommended the best restaurants in the area and made reservations for our group

Had a wonderful stay at the Henry House for our honeymoon. The rooms were quant, clean, and good looking. It is in a great location too. The hosts were super accommodating and so so helpful

Room facing the sea. Having breakfast on the hotel balcony facing the Mediterranean Sea every day is so beautiful! The staff is very professional and patient, and will answer any questions you have. Accurate English.

We recently sated in this lovely hotel with friends and occupied two spacious rooms overlooking the waterfront

Location was fantastic walking distance to swimming spots, many restaurants and beautiful sites. Only downsides for me were the beds were a bit too high and a little stiff and the shower was tiny and leaked

The breakfast was amazing! It seemed almost limitless. Pastries, fresh fruit, fresh coffee and tea. The service was relaxed but genuine. Always asking if we wanted more or making adjustments as requested

We payed 38 Euro for one night including breakfast. We had a big room comfortable beds. Build quality is not that good. But they are super friendly and helpful. The best deal I ever had for a hotel

Cocktail queen Milena is a must. The breakfast also was super delicious and there was a huge variety of local Sicilian pastry, cheese and fruits. Definitely the hotel is worth it , very good value for the money😉

The hotel is amazing, it is located next to the see and the view from the room is amazing. The roof top bar at the top floor with the restaurant overlook the port and we enjoyed the sunset from there

With high ceilings and a very comfortable bed in a loft area, the apartment felt spacious. Our host and hotelier Massimo is the soul of hospitality! We had a couple of glitches which he resolved speedily

The suite was perfect with small kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom. There is a wonderful rooftop for sitting which overlooks the Ionian Sea. The breakfast at the Viola Cafe included with the room was a plus

A casual comment about lack of internet resulted in him putting a router in our room within hours. I would only say that anyone with mobility issues would not be comfortable using the stairs to the loft

The best spot to stay in this beautiful town. Friendly stuff, very good breakfast (not warm dishes like omelettes or fried eggs or any charcuterie) but a variety of local cheese, fresh fruit and juices

Lovely, quiet spot about 8km outside Siracusa. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment was thoroughly cleaned every day. We were served a simple but tasty continental breakfast daily in an outside communal area

Lovely pool and direct access to the sea. Best regarded as self catering rather than " hotel". The local supermarket sells delicious home made Sicilia food which I'd highly recommend

Magical place! Structure built overhanging the crystalline sea; only flaw, the access to the sea no longer equipped. The swimming pool (even if small) very useful

They were buried, literally, in the 15th cenury when the Jews were expelled from Syracuae, and found again when renovation work was undertaken in the hotel inbthe late 20th century

No car park for guest in front of the hotel because almost​ places are for local residence. If have luck can find free places but only if you have luck. If not paid 10€ per night to nearest car park

The breakfast terrace has panoramic views of two harbours and the fishing boats coming into port. But my main reason to recommend Hotel Posta is the (all female) staff, especially Anna

Cosy and lovely place in the heart of Siracusa. Staff tells you everything about sightseeings and assists parking in 100 meters in theater's basement. Breakfast was full of home-made delicious on the hotel roof

Lovely place to stay in beautiful Ortigia, Siracusa. My daughter took me for a four day break and we couldn’t have had a better holiday. Stefano and his family who run the B&B treat you like family

Palazzo Gilistro is a perfect stay. Its location can't be beat, near to many restaurants and to the promenade for sunset views. Staff are friendly and helpful
