Beautiful sea, beach was clean, and cliff side area is really nice. Overall service was good overall, however, there is also a few downside: It's about 15 mins from town, and there is nothing around the resort. You will be looking at 40 euro one way to go to town. If you decided to have meals at the hotel, they are charging about 30% higher than local restaurants, and their food standard is not that...
very pleasant surprise – beautiful hotel and location Our stay at Minareto was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is beautifully designed and perfectly maintained, with great attention to detail in both architecture and landscape design. The gardens and vegetation are arranged with real taste, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. The private beach is truly special — set in a quiet, protected...
Fell in love with the pictures of the sandy beach, which indeed is lovely. The hotel however has two types of rooms - the smaller in 80s styles, while some suites and family rooms are beautifully renovated. We had book a standard double room, and did not feel it was at 5 star level because of size and quality of bathroom. We complained and were upgraded for the last night. Otherwise not consistently...
The location and facilities are excellent, but the service lacks any added value. There were no complimentary extras—not even a bottle of water per day. Prepare to buy everything! The boat ride costs €25 per person, including children, which feels excessive. Unlike other luxury hotels, there are no free on-site activities such as yoga sessions, water sports, or a kids club. Additionally, the area around...
I had an amazing stay at Minareto in Sicily, and the service was absolutely excellent. The atmosphere here is fantastic—relaxed yet luxurious, with stunning views of Ortigia, gorgeous pools, and a jacuzzi that’s perfect for unwinding. What really stood out was their WhatsApp service for requests—it’s so convenient and incredibly responsive. The staff went above and beyond to make everything special...
Amazing location with beautiful private beaches, one of sand, the other one of rocks overseeing the old city of Syracuse. Very smart WhatsApp communication with the hotel which enables you basically to get any food or beverage delivered anywhere you are in the complex

Beautiful old hotel with fantastic staff. Wonderful breakfast. Could do with updating and as others have said, the roof terrace drinks are over priced and the beach is fairly basic. Would stay again though.
The hotel itself is beautiful, in a great location, and the staff are excellent. They offer a private beach, but it costs $20 per person for the boat ride there and back. The boat ride was enjoyable, but it seemed unusual for a hotel of this caliber to charge for it. We were expecting a pristine beach and a nice spot for lunch. While the view of the city from the beach was stunning, the area was...
Beautiful rooms with excellent airconditioning, had a room on two floors which suited us perfectly. Lovely shower also. Best service from concierge, helpful with parking and sorting the room when we got off the boat. Perfect location. Highly recommend. Thank you Adriano for your kind help with our trip
A wonderful hotel with excellent service, beautiful decor, and spacious, elegant rooms. We also had access to their private beach, which was a fantastic bonus—quiet, clean, and truly relaxing. Our only regret was staying just one night at the Grand Hotel Ortigia. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time! Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay here. A historic, elegant hotel right on the waterfront, with helpful and cheery staff. We first had a room on the ground floor which was fabulous in classic decor and had very high ceilings but proved quite noisy, we could hear clearly guests and staff talking until late at night and from the early morning again. They changed us to a more typical, smaller room which was...
Very nice property in a perfect location. The meals here were very good and the service, especially the front desk was excellent.

Awesome hotel in a great oceanfront location the room upgrade was amazing with a view of the harbor and mount Etna. Wonderful staff everywhere. I’ve huge pool and gym. Walking in the old city is very cool at night. Easy parking. I could live here forever.
Where do I start. The service right from pulling up to the front was just impeccable. Gianluca was just amazing...give that man a raise. The room was beautiful and had the most perfect views...absolutely spotless and everything worked. It is the perfect location for exploring the town... It is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in recently. Breakfast was perfect and the bar was amazing...
My husband and I stayed in many hotels throughout Sicily and this was by far our best experience. The service, aesthetic, and location are incredible...almost magical. Alessandro and Angelo were so welcoming, helpful and informative - many thanks for a great stay!
Great location to walk everywhere. The Room was great with beautiful staircase and comfortable bed. Staff was great especially our Bartender who greeted us every night with our usual night cap 🍸 I woke up every morning ready for the Delicious Italian Breakfast!! So yummy There is something to be said about Sicily in December. Few tourist and friendly locals. Would definitely return to Ortea Palace...
The hotel has the perfect location and a stunning foyer. We were so excited for our stay here and pleased that we were upgraded to a suite based on our Marriott status. Upon arrival, we were treated to a refreshing drink in the hotel bar, which was very welcome in the heat. However, when we went to our 3rd Floor room, we were horrified of the sewage smell in the hallway. It was there for our whole...
This hotel and staff is amazing. Everyone was really fantastic especially Concetta at the front desk who tirelessly helped with resolving a lost bag issue we had with the airline. She as well as others help plan excursions and walking trips for sightseeing. We are experienced travelers and this hotel stood out as one of our favorites. We got 2 of the large bi-level junior suites. The room and...

Just been to the beautiful new rooftop bar - best view in Ortigia! Great friendly service too! Highly recommend
Amazing hotel we enjoyed our stay . The rooms are absolutely stunning and the breakfast is great - lots of choice and also gluten free options . The hotel has amazing views as well
The hotel is amazing, it is located next to the see and the view from the room is amazing. The roof top bar at the top floor with the restaurant overlook the port and we enjoyed the sunset from there. Cocktail queen Milena is a must. The breakfast also was super delicious and there was a huge variety of local Sicilian pastry, cheese and fruits. Definitely the hotel is worth it , very good value for...

Lovely hotel with large natural setting which is very peaceful. The staff are wonderful and the service is top notch. The breakfast bar is really good. You need a vehicle as it's a ten minute drive to Syracuse. Overall a very nice experience.
I stayed here for a week in November .Impeccable service from reception till cleaning stuff.Everyone spoke good English.Delicious Sicilian food served at the restaurant.Huge portions!Spacious nicely decorated room with garden and Jacuzzi outside.Had a great three sessions of deep tissue combined with hot stones massage with Rosa .
Nice hotel, nice outdoor area with plenty of places to relax. spa is very luxourious and equipped ok. Service is really friendly. Overall, nothing to complain about.
The hotel is by itself a nice scene in the countryside Sicilie. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by field. Not very far from the city by car. The facilities are either new or well maintained. The service can be offered in English and the stuffs are professional and kind. We enjoyed the Sun a lot in the afternoons outside next to the pool.
Always exceptional. I stayed at this hotel with my wife and daughters from October 16th to 24th, and here you are not just a room number — you are treated as a unique individual. You are always at the center of attention, and you truly feel like a prince. It was my second stay, and each time I leave, I can’t wait to come back. The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by vast green spaces that ensure complete...
Perhaps I did not stay at the same hotel as others describe. I was at the Principe di Fitalia in October, at a time when I needed to put behind me a difficult moment in my life, and I chose this place following the recommendation of a relative. I must thank him, as I spent a truly relaxing week, far from the chaos of the city and cared for by everyone. I greatly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere...

If you are considering a getaway from your hectic life to indulge in the stunning scenery, the excellent amenities, and the warm, welcoming staff at this location, then hesitate no longer and visit Borgo Pantano. The pool was immaculate. The food was exceptional, and the rooms were pleasant, tidy, and refreshing. Without a doubt, I will make another reservation.
Hotel Borgo Pantano is truly magical. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and thoughtful—every person there made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. Unforgettable experience highly recommended, nice staff, clean rooms, very good food and amazing breakfast. Will b back Borgo xxx
This is such a lovely hotel. Seriously, what anamazing place! Set in perfectly manicured grounds, 15 minutes from town, this retreat is a lovely experience. You have to have the breakfast here - it's fantastic and really caters well for everyone - carnevours, vegetarians, glutenfree alike. Final thing to say is thank you Fabrizio for giving us such a warm welcome and guiding us how to make the most...
This hotel is truly wonderful. It is located about 10-15 min drive from syracuse centre but much better to stay here than a hotel in the centre. The surroundings are exceptional. The staff go above and beyond to help. Really genuine. The breakfast is one of the best we have had. All home made. Truly exceptional. The rooms are lovely. Just came back from a 4 night stay at this beautiful hotel which totally exceeded our expectations. Giusi, the owner is one of a kind. A smart, gentle and caring lady who goes out of her way to make your stay one to remember. Likewise, the staff is so kind, gentle and helpful. Restaurant staff are so friendly and professional. The breakfast cannot be compared, fresh homemade Sicilian food which changes...

I wrote a review when I was at Falls Inn in January and I totally neglected to mention how fantastic the food was in the dining room. The Crab Vol-au-vent was simply delicious and as was the Crab Melt. The "deconstructed" lasagna roll was also very unique and quite tasty too. Lots of choices for breakfast, from Eggs Benny to Pancakes and also Continental Breakfast. With each and every breakfast served...
Hotel, staff, food & service first class. Didn’t SPA so can’t comment. Golf course is horrific! Tried to discuss it with the desk staff and emailed the manager - not interested and no reply. By all means go and use the hotel but avoid the golf course which is a shame because there are a few well designed holes just in deplorable condition!
Unique structure for the silence and the well-kept greenery, well maintained. Excellent structure to rest, regenerate. It is located in a point where you can easily reach Syracuse, Noto, Avola, ... and the seaside areas
Large hotel facility (4 star hotel) located in a quiet area not too far from the cost and Syracuse. There is parking available on property. The rooms are spacious but are very “cold” and outdated. Our room was located close to the hotel lobby / close to the pool. As employees use huge carts to carry their items, it was very noisy all day and all night. When asked to change rooms, we were told the hotel...
Positive sides: Amazing venue! Great facilities (the pool area and all eating areas are very cozy and nicely made). The rooms are very spacious and clean. The breakfast is amazing The golf course is well maintained Negative sides: The lunch is great at the golf corner (do not bother with the pool lunch as it is both bad and takes a long time to receive it - 50 min waiting time) The dinners are rather...
Overall it is a beautiful hotel, we had some issues on the first day with our shower flooding the bathroom. They sent maintenance immediately but then it flooded again in the evening. We were moved to a different room. The staff is friendly and eager to help, however, they need a bit more training to be 5-star hotel calibre. The pool area and grounds are beautifully maintained and the food is good...
The driveway to the Hotel was emblematic of the fantastic location - nothing can supersede driving under the branches of hundred years old pines. After that, everything at the Borgo di Luce was like a dream - having breakfast at the edge of the pond with ducks bathing nearby, having a sip of vine at the beautifully located terrace with potted lemons, having a stroll down the pristine nature surrounding...

I didn't like the location or the hotel. Even though it's new, it's not nice, and I didn't have a good time.
“Syracuse is a magical city. This hotel is about 20 minutes from Ortiga ( the main attractions or the historic island, ) but we needed a place with parking since we were driving from Palermo to Syracuse. It’s very easy to get from the hotel to other places, and finding a parking spot is not a problem.”
Really nice *with a couple of minor reservations) Lovely hotel, in great condition with really nice and helpful staff on reception. Breakfast seemed good but somethings were lost in translation - I ordered an omelette but never got it. My wife ordered an Americano but got a cold coffee. We dont have any complaints however. €20 taxi trip to Ortigia though, which is expensive - and you have to...
Second time in this hotel. Nice to come back. Bed is comfortable, staff tries hard.
Excellent value for money, with very helpful and friendly staff.

Beautiful view from a hotel restaurant.
Lovely view and sound of the ocean. Perfect room to wind down and sleep like a mermaid
Excellent breakfast and beautiful rooms. Great location. They take care of your car.
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The location is very important as it is placed in an extremely well and quiet location at ortigia island. The main building is old. They renovated the rooms thought. The rooms are small but they are luxury enough. The breakfast is simple with Italian styling. The breakfast is served at the roof and the view is very nice.
Nice looking hotel and well located within easy walking distance of most Ortigia sights. There is a ginormous jacuzzi in the basement, as well as a sauna, steam room and treatment rooms. We visited in mid June when it is hot, so were not that interested in the sauna/steam, but were a little surprised to have to ask the staff to prepare the area for us (to be fair it only took 5 minutes) - they go...
This is an excellent hotel, nothing bad to say about it. If staying in Ortigia, stay here. Breakfast was amazing too.

Unfortunately, the place does not look good because of where it is geographically located. The idea of using that large land for private parties with inflatables and swimming pool has potential, but the structure needs to improve in many respects, first of all the bathrooms. But there is a lot of room for improvement.

We had a great stay in Domus hotel. The hotel is located right on the waterfront. Our room faces the ocean. When we opened the balcony door, we saw ocean in front of our eyes and our hearts sang! Our host Cynthia is so friendly. She goes out of her way to help us.
Nice location and good sized room. The staff were kind and helpful. I didnt take the breakfast so can not comment on that but there are lots of lovely places to take good breakfast close by. My room could have been cleaner and I informed the staff so hopefully they will ensure it is better in the future.
The shower was terrible. Too small like a phone booth. Drain was slow. Floor in bedroom was not clean. Sand and hair on the floor. Cat or cats live in the office area . Not good for someone with allergies.
Staff was very accommodating. Quieter area. Older rooms needs updating but comfortable.
The staff was so helpful, the location was quiet and convenient to restaurants and sites. The room was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
