Definitely the best choice to stay near Syracuse. stunning views to Ortigia, sandy and rocky beach in one place. The rooms are comfortable, classic design and marble in the bathroom with Hatria porcelain. The presence of such a structure in Sicily is a merit and a great honor. Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The location is very important as it is placed in an extremely well and quiet location at ortigia island. The main building is old. They renovated the rooms thought. The rooms are small but they are luxury enough. The breakfast is simple with Italian styling. The breakfast is served at the roof and the view is very nice.

Nice looking hotel and well located within easy walking distance of most Ortigia sights. There is a ginormous jacuzzi in the basement, as well as a sauna, steam room and treatment rooms. We were here the first week in October 2024 & had a great time. The rooms were clean & comfortable. Slight inconvenience with the bed being in a loft (as was the bathroom) so that it was hot at night, & we had to go up a flight of stairs to use the toilet. Not a 5 star hotel. Great location and generally nice stay but far from a 5 star stay; didn't have an iron to provide, main doors were broken and had to be manually slid open, only elevator was broken one morning... The rest of the experience was akin to a good 4 star experience.

We had the best time. The location is great, service is outstanding, rooms are spacious. The bed was soo comfy and big and there was a hot tub bath in our bathroom. The restaurant is on the top floor with a sea view where you can have breakfast or sunset drinks.

Excellent service, facilities and pool. A little remote and would recommend if you have a car and want a spa type holiday away from this. Without a car would have felt a little cut off with nothing else walking distance but several other restaurants 10 minutes drive to give options. Only 4 shuttles per day into syracuse and 4 back and its a shame the are not a few more.

The staff are all incredibly friendly. The best service I've had at a hotel for a long time. The facilities are amazing and you feel that you have plenty of space. It's a short distance to Syracusa but they run shuttles and we had are own car as well, so it was easy to get about. Highly recommend it.

Countryside location( 15/20 mins drive from Siracusa), comfortable accommodation, lovely pools/garden, quality breakfast and superb staff. Weather great too!

We originally wanted to be in Ortigia thinking we’d be too far if we stayed in Siracusa. It’s a short mile walk to Ortigia and well worth it to stay here! The breakfast is out of this world! My husband and I had the most wonderful time here. The entire staff was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, especially Francesca who gave us perfect recommendations for dinners and drinks in Ortigia. The room was very comfortable, and the private beach was so nice. I appreciate the attention to detail, it’s obvious they care about creating an enjoyable experience.

Overwhelmed by the generous and thoughtful hospitality here. Francesca and the entire staff were incredible and attentive. Having read some of the negative complaints it’s obvious those guests were looking for a ‘deal’, were bad guests themselves or simply have no understanding of how much it costs to operate lodging at this level of perfection. I would recommend this stay to anyone visiting.

We spent three days at the hotel with my wife. It was a real pleasure, it was a great balance between luxury and simplicity. Came here with a deal for access to the spa and a 3 course dinner. The spa was very nice, with a variety of different rooms and not too busy. The meal was a good standard with excellent wait staff. The hotel looked lovely, though fairly quiet (it is April), would definitely consider staying here if we return to Syracuse.

Wonderful experience, the hotel is an oasis of comfort. Our two year old daughter loved the jacuzzi on the terrace of our room, as well as the indoor and outdoor playgrounds. We had an amazing room with a jacuzzi. The resort has 2 beautiful pools. Great customer service. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast is basic, and coffee was delicious. We ate at the restaurant for dinner for 2 nights and it was very delicious.

An old-fashioned hotel with gorgeous but old facilities. The shower was not very useful, the space was small and it was sometimes hot and sometimes cold. The service was also average. I asked the front desk for a cup of hot water, but it was salty for some reason. I had dinner in the hotel, and the steak tasted average. This was the most unsatisfactory stay during this trip to Sicily.

Structure always full of charm and history. It is always worth staying in this hotel if you come to visit Syracuse. Breakfast deserves a little more attention.

This time we were given room 103, which is a double bed room with a terrace where you can go out and sit outside to drink tea. You can also see the sea in the distance. We were very lucky. The room was very good overall. The toiletries in the bathroom were from the Italian niche brand - CULTI. Former British Prime Minister - Churchill also stayed in this hotel. Great hotel in Syracuse, 5 km from the center/old town, far enough to be away from the noise. Great garden and swimming pool area, perfect to relax surrounded by nature. Great staff, very good breakfast. Only down side are slightly dated rooms in terms of decor, but overall they're very comfortable.

Hotel teocrito is located in a residential apartment building, but not very difficult to find. The location is a little bit far from the old town. Free parking is on streets nearby. The room is clean and well equipped, and the staff is warm. Breakfast is quite good.

If you are considering a getaway from your hectic life to indulge in the stunning scenery, the excellent amenities, and the warm, welcoming staff at this location, then hesitate no longer and visit Borgo Pantano. The pool was immaculate. The food was exceptional, and the rooms were pleasant, tidy, and refreshing. Without a doubt, I will make another reservation.

Maybe a little too far from the center of Syracuse, about 5 km, so you'll need a car. Staff is absolutely helpful but they behave a little coldly. Building is old fashioned but still functional so there's nothing you'll be missing. You can have a cheap decent meal in the restaurant if you need it.

You will need a car to reach city center. A/C not controled by the guest, you have it on or off. Only one person speaks English in all staff.

I was a guest in this beautiful place in August. Perfectly located near the most beautiful seaside resorts. Spacious and spotless rooms. Top catering, rich and tasty breakfast. Great apartments, quiet location, nice pool, good breakfast and friendly owners/staff. There is nothing within walking distance so a car needed but plenty of beaches and restaurants within 15-30 minutes drive.
