Beautiful old hotel with fantastic staff. Wonderful breakfast. Could do with updating and as others have said, the roof terrace drinks are over priced and the beach is fairly basic. Would stay again though.

We had a lovely villa with private pool which had ample space and amenities. It felt more like a small house than a hotel room. The service all over the resort was exceptional, staff were very friendly and aimed to make your stay enjoyable. The two ocean swimming areas were fantastic. Excellent service, facilities and pool. A little remote and would recommend if you have a car and want a spa type holiday away from this. Without a car would have felt a little cut off with nothing else walking distance but several other restaurants 10 minutes drive to give options. Only 4 shuttles per day into syracuse and 4 back and its a shame the are not a few more.

The staff are all incredibly friendly. The best service I've had at a hotel for a long time. The facilities are amazing and you feel that you have plenty of space. It's a short distance to Syracusa but they run shuttles and we had are own car as well, so it was easy to get about. Highly recommend it.

Had a great stay at the hotel Roma. The rooms were huge, and in a perfect location, close to the main square and laneways full of restaurants and bars. Overwhelmed by the generous and thoughtful hospitality here. Francesca and the entire staff were incredible and attentive. Having read some of the negative complaints it’s obvious those guests were looking for a ‘deal’, were bad guests themselves or simply have no understanding of how much it costs to operate lodging at this level of perfection. Hotel teocrito is located in a residential apartment building, but not very difficult to find. The location is a little bit far from the old town. Free parking is on streets nearby. The room is clean and well equipped, and the staff is warm. Breakfast is quite good.
